Soooooo feel good. The atmopshere, the surroundings, the music.. sure, the whole series is a bit too polished to feel realistic but the romance of it all completely makes up for it. I miss the series already, can't wait for season 2 (and 3 and 4 and 5!)

Once wachted the first two episodes and thought it wasn't for me. Recently started from the third and binged the whole thing. The comedy is amazing. Why is nobody talking about this series?? Great comedy! We want season 4!

Love Kevin Hart, this was not his good stuff.. usually I laugh my ass off, with this one I smiled a couple times, it was fine. The reason I finished watching because I was waiting for it to get to the good Kevin stuff. He's a great storyteller regardless but this wasn't funny and felt mimicky? where that usually feels natural with him.

As a white person I massively enjoyed blackish. It is a light family comedy and you get to learn a little bit about black history and generally just see life through another lense. I found the series wholesome, fun and wise. Sure, they take it too far sometimes but then again, that goes for most sitcoms that have been on for a while. For example, friends is and will always be my favorite show, but if you look at Monica's character development...she goes from a little neurotic in season 1 to someone who keeps yelling in a high pitched voice in season 10. Writer's mistake if you ask me, but I loved the show regardless because it also has a lot of love and wisdom in it, brought to you in a light and easy-to-watch manner. The same goes for blackish, as far as I'm concerned.

My movie theater didn't state clearly that it was just the fan favorite episodes and put too much emphasis instead on that there would be never before seen interviews / coverage. That's what made the experience disappointing!
