War, Inc. (2008)
The time has come
I for one am organizing a revolt against such worthless, meaningless films like this. I see why Amazon placed this on Freevee, if I had paid $139 a year for this, well it would have been the last penny I spent on Amazon, it probably is anyway, whether or not I paid for it, someone did and I cannot justify or continue allow such content into my home. I think we need to create a National Association of Streaming Services Code of Conduct, with a Standards and Practices Department.
I know I don't have to watch, but I need some guidelines when I am offered a meal of toxic waste disguised as something actually edible. Surprise this was PCB's, and a medley of vial toxic waste with a pleasant sent if the form of once respected actors,
I'm done, I wont be missed, but I won't waste time or money or effort on drivel such as this.
Harry Wild: Mincemeat (2022)
Language
I have grown tired writer's using language that mimics the way "Real People" speak. We don't use that kind of language in any house I've lived in. I guess I'll have to move out of "Acorns" house. Time to cancel another subscription.
Killing Eve: Hello, Losers (2022)
31 episodes, and this is where they went?
What a disappointment. 31 outstanding episodes, engaging, thought provoking, always left you wantting more and they end up delivering this self indulgent pintless piece of . . .
A Million Little Things: Fresh Start (2022)
A Great Show
That has achieved a new low in wasting talent on promoting a meaningless political agenda. Disappointed in all participants, ABC, but I do relish this was the first Favorite TV show I have had to turn off without finishing an episode by choice. Well done, this is the stray that has convinced me to cancel cable TV.
Severance: Good News About Hell (2022)
Holy Cow
The OED will point to this show from this point forward as the definition of "Time Waste."
Why would I pay someone to pipe this into my home?
Time to rethink, guess I won't give Apple any more money to waste on such drivel.
The Gilded Age (2022)
This was beautiful
In the beginning. It has transformed into a predictable, sophomoric piece of drivel that furthers no cause and doesn't entertain. What could have been great, not doesn't even pass for good.
The Power of the Dog (2021)
Hmm?
Less than uninteresting
Actors I once regarded as giving life to flat one dimensional characters, sucked the life out of a an uninteresting, boring, tedious? Can't call it a story, didn't have one. Can't suggested it shed light on anything. Still looking for something positive, but it was too painful to even imagine watching any of it a second time.
Don't take my word for it, but it is two hours you will regret and will never get back. My suggestion is to watch it while you sleep. It certainly won't keep you awake.
Billions: Lyin' Eyes (2022)
Wow, I'm with earlier reviews, Goodbye Showtime
This has gotten worse with each season. It is pedantic, and now has achieved an unbelievable story line. I wish i were a Showtime customer so I could cancel. They'll just have to take my word for it.
Cold Blood: The Last Hurrah (2008)
Don't waste your time
Series started strong, this episode was incredibly stupid nonsense. Beyond a disappointment. Sad, the first couple of episode were watchable, this was unwatchable.
Yellowstone: Grass on the Streets and Weeds on the Rooftops (2022)
This was pathetic
I have suffered through countless episodes, each failing to either entertain or move this very boring story forward, and I arrived at this? This is an embarrassment to all involved, particularly those who paid for it, including an estimated 8milliion end users.
If this embodies the future of home entertainment, the world can relax the birth rate is about explode.
Big Sky (2020)
Reflects on all involved
How far they fall, David Kelly, Disney, ABC ad infinitum
It marks they death a free broadcast TV, and maybe that was it's intent.
The stain and stink from this pile will stick to all involved for years to come.
Madam Secretary (2014)
a disappointment
Such potential, most interesting subject, reduced to trivial, topical, obvious objectives. If US policy were actually this simple and derivative, we would be ignored by 75% of the world (100% if we deduct US television viewers). Let us hope this program is not viewed elsewhere as a true portrait of our protocol in identifying and implementing foreign policy. Within the first 5 minutes the subject and the outcome are obvious and there is no need to continue watching. Where a multi-page letter is appropriate and desirable, a picture postcard is all you can expect. CBS, get it together, your viewers deserve better, which you usually deliver.
