Anurag need Psychiatrist (A.K. is really UGLY)

unfortunately we don't have much choice concern to Indian cinema in France so i went to watch this film & there were only 6 person in entire hall, 3 of them came because they were retired & they have free ticket on every Monday & half of the way they left the film. i was fan of ANURAG KASHYAP but not for this film. it's very small idea but he stretch it up to 2 hours & seen are repeated. script have lot of hole, they didn't explain so many things which happen in film so after some time you left to use your intelligence & you just watching what ever going on screen. Vineet Kumar Singh & Rahul BHATT both were bitten by police up to 3rd degree & not one time but several time but in next seen they are healthy & walking & talking just like nothing happen.

performance wise Rahul BHATT have done brilliant job & i hope he will get more chance after this. Ronit Roy is the same as he was done in UDDAN,THE BOSS,2 STATES. there is no explanation in film why Rnoit ROY is like this, why he put his wife in house like prisoner. entire film i was trying to figure out their bizarre relationship to each other. film is full of violence so sensible should not watch this film. when film end you thought that might suspense will revel but nothing happen & not even convincing. while i came out from the cinema hall & i fell that A.K. is really UGLY that's why he made this film & film itself is more STUPID (UGLY) then A.K.

while i set down to write a review for this film, i thought what is really good things that this film have....? littreally nothing. from starting to end everything goes flat. Aditya Roy kapoor need acting class. even after 4 film he does not know acting. even very easy emotion that he didn't carry out. he play the character that drunk all the time, but his dalogue tone & speech is as as other person even director has not noticed. few question i really like to ask to Mohit Suri which he didn't explain in film...! 1- why Rahul was drinking alcohol all the time in film...? 2- why he want to make a SHradha as a singer...! 3- he really love Shradha or he hate her fame or he frustrated for nothing..? 4- why he was breaking glass, tabel and other stuff in house all the time?...? if u really want to see the grate performance than watch 'awargi'... Anil kapoor was his best. even Satish Kaushik & Govinda as a supporting cast were nice. overall Aashiqui 2 is mixture of Film Daddy, Awargi, Abhiman....

film is bit copy or inspire from here & their. director trying to satisfied everyone from HERO to Punjabi community lives in UK. producer & so on. I don't revile the story. we already seen so many films about cricket, Indian people lives abroad & racism. this film also have all this ingredients. screenplay is not well enough written. so few question i like to ask to writer & director of the film (NIKHIL ADVANI) (1)- why RISHI KAPOOR settle in UK, if he patriot about India. (2)- why RISHI KAPOOR was rude with his children. (3)- what ANUSHKA was doing in film. how she survive. she have only motivation to hang around AKSHAY KUMAR. (4)- if RISHI KAPOOR don't allow to A.KUMAR to watch cricket than how he allow him to do net-practice for cricket. (5)- if A.KUMAR has decided that he follow his father's wishes then why he was doing cricket practice at night & hiding from the family. (6)- it's impossible that A.KUMAR playing cricket in UK team & RISHI KAPOOR don't know. RISHI KAPOOR was on a top for his performance. he was mind blowing. his face expression & particularly body language. I suppose he should get award for best supporting actor.

Film was completely predictable. you know that what going to happen in next seen & might be you don't care that what going to happen in next seen.

i don't like to revel the story otherwise it will lost your charm to watch this film. film was remake of Telugu film. film have good story line but parallel another track of RATIAGNIHOTRI'S sister track was quite boring. film have very emotionally scene at the same time there is few unnecessary scene. i salute to RAKESH ROSHAN to chose a social & cultural film rather than doing a action film of that era. film USB key is PANCHAM music. at that time music was not noticed but now days the film music is quite popular among PANCHAM'S fan, particularly IS DIL NE SOCHA HAI JO. RAKESH ROSHAN is good, RATI AGNIHOTRI is good but to cute or beautiful for this realistic role. rest of the cast OK.

film second half was inspired from JACKIE CHAIN popular film call "Ji Ji" & it was release in 1989.

but still film was well enough Indian way. few emotional scene are well executed. but their was not enough punching dialog. Akshay did A god job as Sikh but as usual he was not ENOUGH GOOD to do a comedy. might be GOVINDA or may be SANJAY DUTT will be god. by the time pass people will forget as other movie like WELCOME or RACE. film do not have any strong thing which help you to go again watch this movie. KATRINA do not have much thing to do in film except Barby doll. SONU SUD has done a good performance rest of the cast also specially KAMAL TALVAR.

it's really great film. such a long time after i have seen original work. from beginning to end, you can not imagine that what will be happen in next seen. film is completely roller coaster. Particular dialog is really give perfect mood to the film. i don't say the story because it is better if you watch from start to finish. everybody have done a great job. Direction, editing, casting, Music, background music. even their was not much scope for songs some how Music director have done a great job. Particularly last 10 minis is really exiting. i like to say to KARAN JOHAR that make this kind film rather than making same kind of film, with the same casting. i must salute to entire team of the EK CHALIS KI LAST LOCAL. hey guys carry on to make brilliant movie...!

this is one of best movie by amitabh. story & screenplay really different & outstanding. somewhere you know that, what will be the next turn of the story but you don't know that how it will be happen & what going to happen in next seen. everybody perform very well. casting was perfect. PRAN has done excellent job after DON. even K N Singh was such a long gap after i have seen on film screen.AMJAD KHAN & KADAR KHAN were also nice. TINU ANAND direction was fabulous. he didn't lose the grip from the film. above all R D BURMAN has given wonderful music not only in songs but also background music. each song has her own space & they push the story. particularly "KAUN KISI KO MAR SAK" & "TUM SAATH HO JAB AAPNE"... it's out & out entertain movie. in other word movie of AMITABH'S ERA....

i have seen this film in my childhood on DORDARSHAN...! at that time DORDARSHAN use to saw a more artistic film or those film who seeking to be release in cinema-hall..!this kind of film produce by NFDC so it will be cheaper for dordarshan.. Massey Sahib, film based on a Joyce Cary best sailing novel "Mister Johnson"...! even Bruce Beresford had already make film with this title...! & leading cast was none other then "PIERCE BROSNAN 007 " but this film was made in 1990 means before GOLDENEYE...& before India version ...!Mister Johnson was release in1990 & Massey Sahib was release in 1985 it means 5 years after Indian version.. thank god some where we are bit ahead to Hollywood... Pradip Krishen is inspired from Joyce Cary best sailing novel "Mister Johnson"...! he made only minor changes..! but some how Indian version is nice & watchable..! also more artistic rather then commercial..! ARUNDHATI ROY had acted as a AADIWWASI GIRL & without any dialog, but she was fantastic with her face expression..!even that character doesn't required anything else. also staring was Barry John who has worked with Richard Attenborough in GANDHI film & WITH SATYAJET RAY in SHATRANJ KE KHILADI...... so this was his third film in India and on Indian subject. the main character played by Raghuvir Yadav...! he played so fantastically..! more original & realistic..! in other word we feel like, he is a Massey Sahib... on director chair i must say he has done wonderful job also casting is nice...!he casted exactly what the film required..! after this film Pradip Krishen has made several film... his last film was Electric Moon.. since then he is disappear....

Arjun film is written by none other then SALIM JAVED. sorry JAVED AKHTER..... JAVED AKHTER & film director Rahul Rawail, R D BURMAN & SUNNY DEOL has earlier worked together in BETAB. & it was smash hits on box office... BETAB has established RAHUL RAWAIL as a director, SUNNY DEOL as a hero as like his father DHARMENDRA but more important is for JAVED AKHTER, because he was just separated from his professional partner SALIM.(SALIM- JAVED is the only name in Indian cinema history that audience were used to watch a film by their name on poster even audience never care that who is the star & director of the film ) BETAB was a big hit & established four of them... now again they meet together with another refreshing subject somewhere trendiest a original subject..! story,dialogs & script is representing the 80 to 85 period of India...! young generation were surrounding with the unemployment, unstable government,politician & their connection up to university's leader. earlier GULZAR has made film "Mere Apne" on similar kind of subject...! but here JAVED AKHTAR has polished this subject without lost & found formula... with superb script & dialogs...also RAHUL RAWAIL Handel very well...RAM GOPAL VERMA so many time said that his first film SHIVA was a influenced from ARJUN...!ARJUN film has been his primary textbook of learning film making process , both in technically style and story content. this film also established PARESH RAWAL, ANUPAM KHER as actor....! editing is really really sharp... action is also wonderful....Mohan Baghdad done a good job... particular when arjun first meet to RANGA(GOGA KAPOOR) in bar.. also at MATKA where first time he meet Annup Lal (paresh rawal) even in climax, i think this was the most unusual climax action seen of Hindi cinema. at that time i have read some where in film-magazine that after ARJUN film every producer wants Mohan Baghdad in his film to direct their action sequence .. For a music it was not big chance somehow RD BURMAN has done wonderful job, particular in this song MAMAIYAA CARO CARO CARO MAMA....while the film was release bollywood was suffering from video piracy & i saw this film on video & i remember that we were use to see this song again & again... film's background music was fabulous, particular while ARJUN (sunny) was waiting for street DADA at CHAI KI KITALI & then their friends just come out to support him in this seen they just don't speak anything to each other but in background it just whistling...! that sound was fabulous...! even so many film have copied those particular tune & several other tune from this film. after this film's enormous success, this team has continue to work together, in, SAMUNDAR, DACAIT...! but success were bit far... RAHUL RAWAIL & SUNNY have 7 film together..! upcoming director have to learn from this film...! rather then to inspired from Hollywood film or to do copy...! Indian cinema has also have encyclopaedia of creative work...! ARJUN is one of top 100 Indian cinema....
