Night Court (2023– )

Great Sequel! :)

I was a huge fan of the original show back in the day. And I have always loved John Larroquette. So, of course when I saw that there was a new Night Court coming, I made a note to give it a chance. Now after watching the first episode, I am hooked again. Melissa Rauch is great as the Judge. She is always fun to watch. I really loved her comedic style in The Bronze film.

Meanwhile the list of supporting characters is capable and impressive. I look forward to them cheering me up after a long day at work. If you only check out one new comedy this season, this is the one. Sorry to sound like a cliche, but I rest my case. ;)

Babylon (I) (2022)

Amazing, Cleaver & Funny!

Great cast and clever writing combined with sweeping visuals and a realistic set. Anyone who watches this film and scores it less than 9 out of 10 is a fool!

Margot Robbie is perfect for this role and bravo as Brad Pitt hits all the right notes for his character. Diego Calva is a breath of fresh air. Jean Smart has a small but crucially powerful presence. While Jovan Adepo lends his poise and depth to this star studded ensemble.

The story is so crazy true that it pulls you in and makes you taste the environment that you witness. Some may look at the 3 hour length as daunting but it never feels long. Just Epic, nuff said! :)

Wow, that film sucked. What a downer. It sucks you in with manipulative visuals and a desperate heroine.

But there is no soul in the show itself, or if there is it doesn't have Norma's best interest at heart.

The multiple aspect ratios try to make it seem like a documentary. Which is deviously cleaver. It wasn't until I sat through the whole thing, and then started to read reviews so that I could make some sense of this hatchet job, that I discovered that this isn't a TRUE biography but based on a work of fiction.

Gotta give CIA, Secret Service and others in the Military Industrial Complex credit in THE CREDITS for pulling the strings necessary to get this propaganda made.

If you love Marilyn Monroe (Norma Jeane) then PASS ON THIS. Nothing but slander and a money grab. :(

Don't mind the 1 and 2 star reviews.

Some had preconceived ideas, that's their fault.

Let the story take you away, and enjoy yourself!

Great fun, fabulous production, cast is great.

I tried not to see much of the trailers and hype before the show started, and that paid off.

If anyone is hoping that this show will be like the vision that they have in their mind of how to do this, good luck with that.

But if you love Tolkien and respect that this production is carrying the torch which Peter Jackson lit 20 years ago... Then get some popcorn, turn off your phone, grab your best friend and watch the first two episodes.

I recommend it! :)

I loved the original Theatrical release. Then I saw the Director's cut last month. Wow, so cool. My suggestion is to relax, turn off your phone, don't answer the door and let the film give you the gift that it is. ;)
