Thor: Love and Thunder (2022)
What happened?
This was really bad. Like dookie grits level bad. I don't mind jokes but, this was trying way too hard to be funny. The cgi was kind of poor, the fight scenes mediocre asf. I know the goats are from the comics, but they were annoying. Zeus was corny, Gorr was uh, interesting. Oh wow, how cute. Children doing battle. The slow motion stares at each other, sigh. What was Hawaii thinking? I wish this took a serious tone, seems like a wasted opportunity. As an actor, I wouldn't be happy with the finished product. I wonder if Chris is? I can't imagine what it's like to promote this bs. This seemed like a low budget movie. 5 stars for some enjoyable moments.
DC Showcase: Constantine - The House of Mystery (2022)
Waste of time...
Just looking for some escapism. I love the John Constantine character, so I was excited to see that there was some new material. Only to end up disappointed with a mediocre short, and then three other stories behind it. That had nothing to do with Johnny boy. Smh.
Z Nation (2014)
How?
How in the flying floogan is there 5 seasons of this? This motherfornicating show is trash. The acting and dialogue is dookie grits. It's extremely low budget, it looks like a fan made cosplaying project.
Monster Hunter (2020)
Not bad at all
Never played the video game. But still, what are people looking for from a movie like this? Its just escape styled entertainment. Something just to pass the time, relax, maybe eat some junk food, or spend time with the kids if you have them. I enjoyed it for what is was. Didn't look for plot, cinematography, or substance. 3 stars taking off for some the jokes, and plot armor for Mila. Like the RE franchise, I hope they make more.
Collateral Damage (2002)
I finally see the light.
This feces is trash. I have no idea as a kid, how I did not see how stiff in movement. And how atrocious Arnold is as an actor. I didn't even pay attention to his accent, until people imitated him. He even sounds stiff. Now how does a Fireman track down a Columbian terrorist but the CIA can't? Maybe they should put Arnold on the Brian Laundrie case. Now I know what people mean when they say, "bad writing". It's just ridiculous. John Leguizamo had to have been dying inside at his character. Guess he needed the work. The terrorist is a Kiwi, wtf. His wife is italian, they couldn't get Columbian or at least SA actors for the roles? And why does the wife look like a cat with its mouth open trying to smell? She's fake looking and hideous. Only plus was Cooper from Blacklist.
Coming 2 America (2021)
Dookie Grits...
If it's not broke, then don't fix it. 98% of the acting was bad, along with a weak story arc. There were some moments, and some jokes that hit. But this was bad.
Epidemiya (2019)
Idk I'm doing a lot of wishing
I'm on episode two. There's and epidemic going on and there's the possibility of thugs returning to end them. But everyone has turned into emotional snails or emotional molasses. It's fiction, I know, but I want everyone to die for their lack of earnestness.
Gemini Man (2019)
Just needed more money...
The movie was good and the underlying message was articulated well. What kept me away from this movie was the terrible CGI in the trailer. I know sometimes they release a rough draft just to make audiences aware of the movie. Then make last minute adjustments before release. They didn't make those adjustments. More money should've been spent on CGI. That's where it fell short for me. Hopefully they recoup in streams.
Warrior Nun (2020)
Bad acting, horrendous inner monologues.
Watched 1.5 episodes and couldn't finish. I feel like this could've been really good. It's as of it's trying to hard, and in some instances the acting comes across wooden and unnatural.
