Faraway Downs (2023)

Australia 'Directors Cut'

Please note - this review is from a fan of the movie 'Australia' and is expressing my point of view:

Australia is one of my fav movies to watch from time to time.

However, Far-away Downs is my new 'Australia'. Watching faraway downs, it gave the story more detail and explain the scenes in more depth that the movie doesn't show.

I'm not gonna spoil the show as it needs to be watched. Every episode draws you to the next one until the end. I like how every episode had time to explain more and the last episode esp wasn't rushed.

The true events of our country and it's history from that time are shown in a careful, respectful manner esp the subject about the stolen generation.

Baz, every movie, tv show etc to date are done with care, heart, research, attention to detail for the subject your directing to your audience.

Can't wait to see the next project :)

Another amazing Aussie drama

I have to give this a high rating cas it is Aussie drama at its best. The way it was set in a period of so much uncertainty. I won't spoil this as it needs to be watched! The story line used, the way it was created into a musical and the way one tv ad that gave shock value to everyone who watched it back in the 80's!

This tv show needs to be watched by the new generation of kids not just for education purposes but also to respect the people who started organisations and worked extremely hard for love and acceptance!

Well done to the cast, crew, creators and anyone who is involved in this production on this awesome Aussie drama!!

Werewolf by Night (2022 TV Movie)

Wow brilliantly created!

Wow I can't believe how beautifully created this movie is! It goes for one hour and it tells the story beautifully. U can see the care thought out the movie and the characters/ensemble are perfect!

What I loved about this movie: black and white huge tick! The theme of the golden age of Hollywood movies huge tick! The scary theme using modern Technology but giving that old school feel huge tick! The use of one colour through tout most of the movie huge tick! Cast and crew - awesome and overall a massive huge tick! This needs to be seen for urself! Hoping marvel will bring more movies like this out as I enjoyed watching!

Obi-Wan Kenobi (2022)

What a brilliant show!

Ewan and Hayden have done these two characters Justin's not just for now but the future too as I feel this is not the end of obi!

Credit t9 the director - Deborah chow u owned this series and can't wait to see MORE future episodes!

The limited series are a perfect format for story telling! This is what should have been done with Rise Of Skywalker - no rushing the story and giving it time to develop to an epic finale. Yes some episode will drag on - I didn't see this with obi - 6 episodes is perfect!

I was extremely excited for this project and now the outcome - pls pls let us know there is a second season as I can feel there is!

Also we need to give credit to the supporting cast inc little leis and Luke in so excited to see what will happen in the future to these characters before episode 4!

What brilliant acting

Watching this movie over 20 year after release it was amazing to see actors who are now well know and the acting/directoring is amazing

If you are in to world war 2 history this movie is a must.

The Thing About Pam: She's a Killer (2022) Season 1, Episode 6

What an amazing drama!! Renee is amazing! Joshua was amazing!! All the active was awesome!!

I was hooked from episode 1 and had to watch all 6 episode then and there - that's how good this drama is!!

Not going to spoil it for anyone but if I want to watch a good drama - u must binge watch this show!!

Amazing performances

I watched this movie again after it was first released on streaming service a few years back.

As I was observing all the acting: by the way brilliant acting by the whole cast, Robert Downey Jnr's was the one that stood out for a lot of reasons.

I wanna say as an fan who I've watched over the years his acting in Charlie Chaplin, heart and souls, US Marshall's to name some oldies to more recent: playing iron man in the marvel movies, this movie is one I really enjoy watching. The sad thing is he should have been nominated for the Oscar along with Robert Duvall for acting too cas u see a lot emotions played here and what I see the most is how far this talented actor has come :)

Well done Robert Downey Jnr!

Zack Snyder's Justice League (2021)

A beautiful masterpiece Thank u for sharing

Zack Snyder, it would have absolutely devastating if this cut of the movie wasn't ever released. Your vision, directing and filming superb and def worth the wait. The aspect ratio, the flow of the movie was worth airing for the whole 4 hrs to watch PERFECT!! The touching dedication to autum and playing her favourite song at the end - beautiful. And the cast - u rocked!! I admit my daughter who is a DC fan reminded me when we went to see the 'other' movie in the cinema - I fell asleep and now I know why lol. All the joking and laughing moments where taken out of this movie abs to be honest, they weren't needed and make the movie more serious - I liked that! The focus on cyborgs story, I can see why u wanted to focus more on his back story. What I'd like to see next (hopefully) is another movie to follow up with the whole cast back. No one changed - I believe Ben is a fantastic batman and love to see more of him in the bay suit in the future and of courses everyone else. Zack this movie was worth the hype abs wait!! It was a joy to watch and hoping one day I watch it in black and white too. To u and ur family, Stay strong and thank u

One of the most amazing take shots I've ever seen

I've seen a handful of take shots in tv shows and movies and this one is breathtaking - the emotion, acting, setting etc is phenomenal!!! I've read some of the positive reviews and I agree - beautiful episode :) Huge well done to the actors, director, crew and everyone for creating this episode!! :)

Avengers: Endgame (2019)

Brilliant

This movies ensemble is one of the biggest I've ever seen in a movie. The movie flowed really well 1 hr tied up everything from infinity wars And every hr after that there was the solution (with a few laughs) and last but not least that last hr the epic finale - avenger... assemble!! A unique experience and the way I put it - it chronologically started with captain America the first avenger in the 1940's and endgame finished with that same 1940's last dance - brilliant!

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story (2016)

Brilliant movie from start to finish!!!

I'm no movie buff expert but I have high respect for brilliant movies and rogue one is one of my so many all time favorite movies.

Why? For the respect it has shown in creating the movie around a story that started nearly 40 years ago :) for anyone who grew up with Star Wars (now known as a new hope) would know the iconic beginning of the movie.

Rogue one is created back to back with a new hope with a gap of nearly 40 years and end only minutes of the next movies beginning.

Another thing I love about the Star Wars movies is the respect of creating the universe around the previous movies to detail and the continuity with characters and small/big details.

The cast was superb and the cgi of Tarkin and Leila is amazing!!

Can't wait to see the next Star Wars - the last Jedi and it's story line :)
