Destination Fear (2019)
There's a potential.
Perhaps it seems interesting as it's a group of young people embark on scary places, which should draw more younger viewers. Nevertheless, the show is doing everything that I don't like in the ghost hunting shows and I don't see any particular unique signature, yet. I've seen a much more low production budget ghost hunting shows with better substances. In any case, the show is still young, and we will see how it grow and whether the authenticity that it is still building will come into place.
American Ripper (2017)
The Fascination of Mystery
Hundreds of years later and more generations after another, the killers of the century, Jack the Ripper and H. H. Holmes, can still catch our interests and eagerness to discover and offering more possibilities for us to learn more. The show has a perhaps awkward pair, but Fox's enthusiastic (and sometimes sceptical) personality and skills in her crafts and Mudgett's desire to prove his theory are both of which could be reflected upon us whilst viewing this series. It is impressive to have the true descendent of H. H. Holmes (never knew of this) be a part of the undiscovered mystery that is one of the greatest horrors of its time in history. Quite entertaining.
The Intruder (2019)
"Creepy" Dennis Quaid, Count Me In!
This is pretty entertaining! Sometimes you might related to Charlie (Quaid) when people don't respect the house you love, though not this level. I hope. I like the 2 perspectives about Charlie by Scott and Annie before Mr. Charlie goes full blown crazy about 15-20 minutes toward the end. The danger of obsession murderer and stalker and a rapist. I hope I will never have to meet someone like him!
