Couldn't get passed the first 10, then 20,30,60,180.... Minutes. Maybe not for me. But from the start even Kevin hart from the get go - wrong just wrong. No jokes resonated. Then tried to skip and watch and no. Again no. How can people like this??? Finally they brought Tom Brady. At least some relief. But then it became unwatchable again. Not because of Brady

If they'd shown the destination it would have been worth the wait. The backstory was very interesting and worth understanding how and what prompted the mission. But watching this in 2024 was a let down, at least this one should be episode 1 and having episode 2, about what new horizon found readily available. Otherwise it felt like a let down, and sent me on yet another web search about new horizon. However seems this documentary was made right before new horizon reached its destination?

Spoiler (lol) it was a successful mission and great pictures and data sent back. 700m seemed a lot back then, money well spent.

I really don't get it why this show is so high rated, I get it good visuals, quite an imagination but the acting and the plot are really underwhelming. Is it all because of baby yoda? Yeah it's cute and all but still not enough to make the show. I struggled to watch it but wanted to like it after all the positive reviews. What am I missing?

Watching episodes again and likening them less and less. Such a bad movie overall. Bad acting. Bad plot. Baddish dialogue. Is it only the visuals that people fall for???

People complaine not enough fight scenes, to me it's too many fight scenes, many times useless, primitive and infantile. A lot are so cartoonish. Is the point to show there may be differences between civilizations??? Really really struggled with this one. 70% of the movie was fights and warring. Where is the depth? The parts with actual acting were more or less enjoyable. How did the kid learn to fight? How does he know what to do. This was badly done from my point of view (POV).

Honestly as much as I enjoy watching Ewan McGregor I couldn't wait for the fight scenes to end and the actual movie and proper acting behind. Maybe because I couldn't fully focus I didn't get all the nuances, but it was reallyhard to watch for me.

Overall pretty good content. Better than the Netflix one I think. Although I watched this after the Netflix docuseries. But I can't listen to the main reporter presenter. At times it's way too nasal and like high school talk. Takes away from credibility. It seems like it was amateur reporting.

Otherwise good content although at times one sided. Didn't seem to show a neutral view from the presenter's side, the best part is when wintnesses spoke.

Great show about diving and focusing on the relationships

Great show about free diving (as opposed to subs diving) and focusing on the relationships and the human factor of the sport. It would have been helpful to introduce basics of why the sport is so dangerous, why coming up for air at the right time directly impacts life vs depth. It is somewhat of an uncommon sport and the show assumes the viewers know these details but we don't. Some basic data pointers would have been helpful - is thr the length without air that is crucial, or depth, water pressure, etc etc etc. Otherwise beautiful show showcasing some of the greatest dive spots in the world....

Unfortunately they do a massive disfavor to all victims by setting this docuseries as your typical conspiracy documentaries. The content is good and lots of evidence to do a proper documentary, instead is a cheap conspiracy reeking series that you have to force yourself to watch and fact check each 5 minutes. Disappointing in production, following this overdone template. Not in evidence and information. I felt like a trump follower conspiracy lover and couldn't handle the tone and music and scenario this was shown. Will wait for the next documentary that does Justice to all the evil Epstein inflict on those he abused.

Sophie's Choice (1982)

Great acting. Beautifully done movie

For some reason I haven't seen this movie until now. Meryl Streep proves why she's such a great actress, she does the accent beautifully, masterfully played the various aspects of her heroine. Loved her in her later movies but this one truly is outstanding. All actors are great. The way the flashbacks are shot are great, beautifully done, in sepia. Somehow they're surprising, however not gripping, not for me not sure why... because I know she'll be ok? But she's not ok, each flashback tells a story of how a part of her was lost, left behind, died. Kevin Klein is fantastic. So is Sitgo. Now I'm curious about the book.

I quite enjoyed season 1, and would rate it at 7-8. I thought it was well done, thought provoking etc. I was quite looking forward to season 2. Season 2 was disappointing, almost from the beginning I had to push myself to watch. There are many episodes that have way too many guns, and shooting - likely to try to appeal to a certain audience, that is not me. (it was like a Rambo action movie or full metal jacket - except not in times of war, to the point it became ridiculous). Only a few episodes of season 2 stood out to me (eg the house). I gave up in the end as couldn't focus and it became an effort in the end. Al Pacino does a good job though.

Enjoyed it. Underestimated movie, describes what was going on in NY

I quite enjoyed this movie, it describes what went on and what people went through in the city. With all the awkward moments. I remmwber thinking it was going to be two weeks, then everything shutting down, remember not being able to hug my family, staying away from friends, my building not allowing friends to come for a meal, friends dying and hearing of people passing, and working all day and stepping outside for the 7pm cheer - in my opinion it's well done. And then getting better here and worse in other countries. And if it seems slow, that's because that's how those days were. Well done!

And the love story is a nice background, or the other way around.

Season 4 brought this down, turned into a silly Hollywood action movie, ridiculous unrealistic plot twists, not liking it. Other seasons were well made and good.

Two stars for some historic facts and beyond that zero. This show is too narrow from the point of view of abusers and not on whom the drug has the intended effect or no effect. I wish what they describe would be the norm.

Love the series, but this episode is the worst. After the opening No need to bother to watch the rest - Attributing latest top dance moves to the ghetto and black dances in the US. FYI before twerk - Brazilians had funke which makes twerk a copy cat for kindergarteners.
