Javier Bardem as Desi Arnaz.
20 December 2021
The actor Javier Bardem is totally wrong for the part of portraying Desi Arnaz. Javier Bardem has a hugely obvious terribly broken nose and is not handsome enough, by far, to even conceivably play the part. His disfigurement is a constant distraction while viewing the film. Javier has no real singing talent. Desi Arnaz had real talent in singing and playing the drums and so on. Why would anyone cast Javier? There must have been some other actor that far better resembles Desi. Just watch the "I Love Lucy" shows from the period to see what Desi's appearance was. You can also listen to some of his albums with his vocals and instrument playing.

RAF didn't do mass B-24 Bomber raids in daylight in Europe.in 1944.
19 November 2021
The RAF stopped daylight mass Bombing in Europe early in the war. It was too costly in casualties and aircraft losses.

The US Army Air Force 8th Air Force did do daylight missions and thus suffered high losses. Each B-24 Liberator had a ten-man crew.

This film is yet another case of "stolen valor". The British are shown flying highly dangerous mass formation bomber missions during daylight where they encountering accurate German flak and fighter aircraft.

This film should have been about American crewed B-24s. Credit where credit is due.

More Anti-Christian Nonsense
20 April 2021
Warning: Spoilers
More Hollywood Anti-Christian trash. Hollywood never ends its efforts to portray Christians as hard hearted, judgmental and even outright evil. This episode uses the ages old Anti-Christian technique of showing fictional Christians using out of context Old Testament scripture to their own evil ends and ignoring the New Testament admonition to Peace and Love and that Christian Salvation is open to all people of all races through Faith.

Anti-Semitic concoction against fictional Hasidic beliefs.
24 February 2021
Warning: Spoilers
A major potion of this episode portrays totally false information about Hasidic Jewish beliefs. It states that Hasidic believers cannot receive transplant material if the donor is an Arab or female or a cadaver. There are no such restrictions in Judaism!

Who is writing and approving for production this Anti-Semitic lie?

The Good Doctor: Lim (2021)

False Christian Doctrine.
13 January 2021
Warning: Spoilers
A character in this episode states that she knows that Jesus had already forgiven her for aborting her unborn child, because He allowed her to become a doctor which is her lifetime dream (paraphrased).

Christian forgiveness of sin is based upon a person recognizing their sinfulness and through faith in the Lord Jesus as their personal Lord and savior; asking for forgiveness and seeking to repent.

Any Christian would know not to assert that Jesus had already forgiven them of a self-professed sin, because Jesus had allowed them to enter a particular profession, such as a doctor. This is utter heresy in Christian doctrine.

Why do the show's writers not consult with theologically trained Christian ministers and priests? Do they know anything much about the religion? Do they have an agenda.

Most creative Bull Ever! Great music!

I loved the use of songs from back in the day. I went to iTunes and purchased every song. All series could use such an entertaining and uplifting episode from time to time. Kudos to all involved! This is probably my favorite episode.

Only first season is great film noir.
21 August 2020
The first season has great film noir qualities. From the nearly black and white filming to the "mood of pessimism, fatalism, and menace", it is a current take on a neglected genre. My favorite added little feature is the audio narration voiced by the lead actor of season one: John Hannah. It was a very pleasant change to hear the insights, thought and reflections of the character that are not actually spoken aloud. It gave useful insight into the overall direction of the characters and the episodes.

I might agree that the lead actor John Hannah might not have been the best actor that could have been cast. However, given that I did not read the books, the only distraction he had for me was that he looked too young for the part.

After season one all the magic is gone. There is a change of lead actor. The film noir is gone. There is no narrator. It becomes just another lengthy British style detective story with no broken heart nor tortured soul. What a shame!

Anti-Christian bigotry!
19 March 2020
Warning: Spoilers
This episode "Pastor Paul" has a pastor new in town involved in an extra marital sexual affair with a member of his congregation!! Any such pastor in real life would be removed from the pulpit and fired.

Who writes this stuff and what is their bias / bigotry? If the Christian pastor had been written as a Jewish Rabbi or a Muslim Imam or a Hindu priest etc. would that ever get produced? Would it not create outrage?!

Just more anti-Christian propaganda!

Good but questions
30 December 2019
I am a native born and raised Montanan. I loved the scenery, but question a few things.

Montana requires a Hunter to wear at least 400 sq. inches of "Hunter Orange" above the waste etc. These hunters are definitely not in compliance.

Moose hunting is involved as if they had a family "right" to hunt and take a moose. Montana has a lottery system for Moose.

Using an antiquated and underperforming cartridge, like the 30-30 they use, is an unlikely choice for hunting moose. The boy proves he is strong enough to carry a larger caliber and harder hitting large game rifle as we use in the high mountains for large game.

Would anyone in their right mind trail a wounded bear or choose to approach a cub bear! Even a "flat lander" should instinctively know better.

If I were in the high mountains these days I would bring a survival GPS locator.

Element "borrowed" from others.
27 December 2019
Warning: Spoilers
The writers were pretty brazen in this episode with "borrowing" some plot elements. One that has not been mentioned is that the metal destroying that kills human technology and can leave humans stranded on a planet is very similar to a short story by Clifford D. Simak. It was titled "Beachhead" and was published originally as "'You'll Never Go Home Again!'" in the July 1951 Fantastic Adventures.

Disappointed in substitute film locations.
11 March 2019
Warning: Spoilers
I was greatly disappointed that the movie had almost nothing about Butte, although the previews led me to believe it had. I was born and raised in Butte. The tiny nighttime scene that was supposed to be in Butte shows a hick grain and feed store sidewalk as the bus station. Butte has a modern bus station. So I conclude that some writer or whoever knows nothing about the subject matter or is biased in some way. Maybe they should have filmed on location! The location of the main action 'out west' is supposed to be a 7 hour big rig truck ride away from Butte!

Filming was done in the state of Virginia. The Blue Ridge Mountains are not the Rockies!

Racism on Display. Anti-American.
22 February 2019
Warning: Spoilers
Why would any American audience care about any 'royal linage' form of government? Did we not fight and win two wars to throw off any hints of foreign royal influence? Can Americans relate to the top leader of a country being determined by single combat to the death?

At nearly ever turn there is anti European ancestry statements and references. Anti-White stereotypes and outright racism are prevalent. There are so many references to violence against non-Blacks and current world governments, a person would think the title 'Black Panther' refers to the 'American Black Panther Party'.

Lastly, the CGI is clumsy at best.

Out of Date and Biased
18 February 2019
The series is archaeologically out of date. Francesca Stavrakopoulou is not an archeologist; but she is a self-avowed atheist with her own agenda. She discounts the entire Old Testament as having historical value. She makes wild accusations and uses very faulty logic to 'prove' her assertions.

This series is a waste of time and money.

Anti-Christian and Anti-Methodist bigotry.
3 February 2019
Warning: Spoilers
Blacklist Season 6; Episode 4 The Pawnbrokers (No. 146/147 contains an outrageously nasty case of Anti-Christian and especially Anti-Methodist propaganda. Methodists portrayed as murderous greedy criminals? Really now! Tenets of Methodism are explicitly against violence, greed and gambling. All of these are shown in this episode. To push the point the female criminal is wearing a Christian cross necklace. Which writer on the show is the bigot?
