Pairings (2012– )
10/10
Funny, touching, and unique
12 June 2013
If you like great characters, funny but touching relationships, solid values of family and friends, and some yummy food preparation, you'll love "Pairings." This title is a clever play on the pairing of people as well as the selection of the right wine or beer to go with a favorite dish. An added perk are the delicious recipes that accompany each episode of the show, found on the "Pairings" web page. I was impressed with the depth of the characters and authentic feel of a loving family created with only 6 short episodes and am looking forward to Season 2 to find out how the romantic intrigue evolves. The acting, directing, and technical aspects of the show were superior verified by the award Ed Robinson, the lead actor and writer, took from the Hollywood Webfest as "Best Actor."! You don't have to cook to enjoy the show, you just need an appreciation of people and the diverse interplay between them, although it couldn't hurt to like to eat, too. This show really stands out among web series offerings
