Why the high rating

It was a low budget movie The acting wasn't bad. Besides that it was a story about The human condition ultimately and all you haters just live a pathetic life and just hate for the sake of hating I think. Sure it was hokey in parts but they had a small budget so I suppose you expected all the homes that they got into to be dilapidated like it would be in real life. Get over yourselves. The two young girls acting did a pretty decent job ultimately and it was a pretty gritty movie when you think about it. Watching the second time, I think you'll find parts of it pretty good if you just remember that it was a low budget.

The Siege (2023)

It really wasn't that bad

I suppose people get on here and think they're hot shot critics and slam just about every movie. This movie was no great accomplishment but it was fairly entertaining and action was pretty good, particularly since it was on a shoestring budget I'm sure.

Sure it was somewhat predictable, but the good guys got their butts kicked a few times so it wasn't like a James Bond movie.

Plus, actress Lauren Okadigbo has some serious stunt skills. She actually has been in a lot of Big Time movies doing stunts. And, Daniel Stisen at least held his own even if he's not some great Shakespearean actor. Give it a try!

Night Sky (2022)

Even better than I thought

I had no idea what to expect, but it captivated me from episode 1. I just finished first season and I read that there might not be a second season which is a shame. They are so many loose ends to tie up that this could go on for multiple seasons. And of course the acting is great. How they snagged the high quality actors actors they did is amazing. This is the thinking man science fiction. If you're looking for a Star Wars or Star Trek or marvel superhero type series this isn't for you but I loved it.

The Way of the West (2011)

Pretty good actually

I was surprised actually how good the movie was. Scenery was awesome. The acting was pretty good and Pare is drop dead gorgeous even with the fake scar on her cheek. I will say that the movie did seem like a Clint Eastwood movie with a smaller budget. Check it out on Amazon prime. 👍🏼👍🏼

John Mulaney & the Sack Lunch Bunch (2019 TV Movie)

Clever

I've seen his stand-ups and found them very funny so I didn't know what to expect. the one thing I did really enjoy what's the fact that he was able to gather together such an eclectic group of kids and adults. The kids in particular were particularly talented I thought. If people didn't like this Netflix special I think they just didn't "get it".
