Cocaine Bear (2023)
Heck Yeah!
I think this one is a solid block for an oscar nomination, without tom cruise or the scientology church paying for an nomination. Like they did with Maverick Top Gun. Genuinely, it is a lot of fun. Not saying that Maverick Top Gun wasn't fun it just wasn't an oscar caliber movie. At least the right movie got picked for best picture. But, This was a lot of outrageous fun that I think people needed. So, and conclusion since this needs to be a long review. I'm going to say, go watch this movie it's just a lot of stupid fun. Sit back and laugh at the core and hilarity of this movie. Go Cocaine Bear. You rock.
Nurses (2020)
NBC trying to catch a wave.
Thank you to all the nurses out therefore being on the front lines. However, this is like every other hospital medical show out there. To the couple that shouldn't be together because the man is engaged. That's like an obligatory storyline inside the storyline of every single hospitals show I have ever seen.
Uncle Frank (2020)
Paul Bettany and Sophia Lillis are amazing
Absolutely outstanding performances by Paul Bettany and Sophia Lillis. A young girl from the south leaves to go to college in New York where her uncle is a professor. When the family suffers a loss and they have to travel home for a funeral she learns just how horrible family and life can be through the eyes of her Uncle Frank.
Married with Children (1987)
Too bad we'll never see this show make a comeback because of the woke culture.
I really wish this show could make a comeback unfortunately nobody seems to be able to take a joke anymore nobody can laugh at themselves or anything else and what we're left with is a ton of thin-skinned delicate little Millennials ready to get upset over jokes. I guess words hurt now so we can't make fun of anything anymore. Sad that this generation is so thin-skinned and we'll never learn to have a thicker skin.
Selena: The Series (2020)
No more insomnia I just turn on Selena the series.
Thank you Netflix for wasting our time and money again on rehashed crap. They did the movie with J-Lo we know the story we know the ending. Even, if I tried I couldn't spoil this series. We are in a depressing pandemic and you're going to feed us worthless entertainment. If you don't know the story then just go watch the movie. Don't waste 8 hours of your life watching the series just to get the same ending as the 2-hour movie. Besides, I couldn't make it through the first episode. I kept falling asleep. This series works better than Ambien for insomnia I've been sleeping like a baby and only had to run it for 10 minutes at a time the last week. So, thank you for that Netflix.
Special Unit (2017)
I needed this movie
Definitely not leaving any spoilers behind because I'd rather have people watch this for themselves. I just have to say that since we're not going to get to see any Al Bundy's down humor anymore or humor like this movie provides. On account of the fact that our delicate thin-skinned little Snowflake culture we've cultivated will no longer allow us to have a laugh. I am considered disabled. I feel that every once in a while we have to enjoy a little bit of dark humor or even humor that is completely inappropriate. This whole movie is completely inappropriate. But, it's intended to be. We just need to be able to laugh at ourselves more. If we can't learn to do that then we're already more disabled than we think.
The New Mutants (2020)
Kind of underrated
I thought it was great storytelling and it was a great beginning to something that could become more in time. It might even be something that would be better suited to be a series.
Stranger Things (2016)
I may have to miss out on the final season.
Teenage bounty hunters and stranger things are the only two programs on Netflix worth watching I really hope they switch to a different streaming service between the inappropriate show Cuties and Netflix rate hikes I don't think I'm going to end my account with Netflix. Like I said only two shows worth watching and I keep hoping they'll go to another streaming service because Netflix is charging too much and they just keep raising the price. On top of that they just keep on making crap shows horrible horrible programming and then they charge way too much. It's going to be good by Netflix soon
Teenage Bounty Hunters (2020)
A whole lot of fun
The writing is great the action is good the two main characters are amazingly strong young women in one hell of a messed up world all trying to navigate High School at the same time. I just wish this wasn't on Netflix because I would love to watch the second season. But, between Cuties and their rate hikes I'm going to be leaving be leaving Nexflix
Selena (1997)
Another retelling. How passe.
Really tired of the crap getting turned out. So, many re-imaginings. At least Star Wars is going in new directions most things are going backwards and retelling everything that we've already heard. When is Hollywood going to break out with another big blockbuster series? I think that we are done seeing big blockbuster hits tired of disappointment after disappointment and man another reimagining of this entertainer is more disrespectful than anything. Spoiler alert she gets shot by a super fan that she thought was her friend. Oh wait how can that be a spoiler Jennifer Lopez played the woman many years ago. So, everyone knows the ending. What are they really going to do drag it out for years before they actually show her die. How many times can we make Selena die is this the goal?
A Star Is Born (2018)
Big shocker another reboot
When you can't write an original movie script you give up and you reboot this is what the whole film industry is built on now reboot reboot reboot. The only time anything should ever be rebooted are science fiction fantasy movies because originally they didn't have the technology to do some of them Justice when it came down to special effects rebooting movies like this is a waste of moviegoers time no one should ever win Oscars or any other awards for doing reboots or reimaginings. I can see where IMDb asks does this review contains spoilers. How can it not? It's the second reboot of an original movie by now the storyline is pretty much like out there and everybody knows it.
