Law and Order season 22...the "MOPS"~
3 April 2021
This is my favorite show but I just can't stand to look at their hair any longer. For Christ's sake...COMB IT!!! You look like a dirty mop at work!

Get new hair cuts! Do something with it! Forget looking like a mop any longer!

Captivating and Compelling~
26 June 2020
This is the most fantastic series I have ever seen and I have seen many! I watched season 1-4 in a 2 week period and could not stop watching until the sun rose every day. It has everything you could wish for in a series, love/hate, peace/war, reality/sci-fi, histrionic, melodramatic, wild/protocol, global geography, fortitude, and the constant perseverance of one determined woman who rises above her own world to surrender for her love of the past and the man she was arranged to marry. I can barely blink for missing a second of this. The casting was PERFECT! Sam Heughan is most dashing and solid, brimming with muscles and commitment to his only true love, his woman! Suspense and adventure don't even begin to describe this amazing series. I hope it goes on forever! It teaches us what can be done in adversity with love standing firmly behind us!

My favorite show used to be Law and Order SVU. It had everything in the show that was DRAMATIC and EMOTIONAL! But this show here is AMAZING! It totally love the relationship between Steve and Danno! I also love all the players, Grace Park, (Kono) is OUTSTANDING! I was an avid watcher of the old series but this is unbelievably good. You can't wait for the next episode! Keep it up I hope this show never ends!

Patriotic and Beautiful~
13 April 2018
Warning: Spoilers
I was overwhelmed with this episode of SVU. The end where the Sergeant is saluted was just magnificent! As he stood there proclaiming what he believed in, took pride in who he was, and showed no remorse about detailing his superiors unbecoming (rapist) to the courts...he took the chance and they loved him so much they saluted him. I was just in awe! This was one of the best episodes ever, almost as good as Season 7 episode 3 "911". This is my favorite show and I wait each week breathlessly for it! Tonight was super fantastic! I give thanks to all the star cast. ~LadyAnn

Awesome~
5 August 2017
I totally loved this movie and I will see it again soon! It had a mix of many things that just fit well together. The emotion between the gun slinger and the boy just crawled right out of the screen, you could feel it! What a wonderful story of good vs. evil and good triumphs. Idris was super fantastic...he is now my favorite actor and the current, "Gun Slinger"! The best place to see this was on a large screen, it is worth the money! You won't be disappointed.

Stays Standing with Honor

This movie was just about as perfect as you could want any movie to be. Even in devastation and war, one man sticks with his convictions and his beliefs to conquer what everyone else thought cowardice. Each scene is important to watch through the design of the war on top of that ridge, the amazing strength that our higher power gives us with our faith. A true anecdote told with dignity and pride witnessing bravery that would leave the common man spellbound, as I was. Truly one of the best movies I have ever seen that reminded me of St. York, another tremendous movie. You will not be disappointed! Bravo Mel Gibson who captured everything in this movie from childhood, home, love, faith, and most of all..."bravery above and beyond the call of duty!"

The Substitute Wife (1994 TV Movie)
How it should be~
31 July 2016
I have to admit that I never expected Lea Thompson to do such an amazing job with this role but she was outstanding! The concept of the movie was seen through the eyes of the old west days and this I am sure was just too good to be true. But..."this is how it should be" in the face of adversity and one human being relies on another. It brings out the maternal instincts to a point of extreme in finding hope for the children in the near future not knowing if or when things will change but knowing that they WILL medically speaking. At first, it was slow but picked up with real emotion and Farrah was excellent in her role as well. She really depicts the true emotion of a "working women" not being kissed because that is intimate and special. So the real emotion came shining through when she finally intimately kissed back on the lips. Truly logical and sensible in the way the whole situation was handled yet in today's society I can't think of anyone that would put up with this arrangement! Brought genuine tears to my eyes and the friendship between Lea and Farrah was brought out in real tear jerking mode! I really loved it!

The unexpected but surely the explained~
29 June 2016
This movie was terrific, suspenseful, well acted and had serious twists. But most of all this movie was INSPIRING! As a writer, we all face the occasional "block", but on occasion, we know in our hearts what we want to say, sometimes it is the belief that we can't do it and so we stagnate and procrastinate, it is so hard to START! This movie held special meaning for me, as I am in this exact position. But the ending was super fantastic and goes to show that even as social perceptions of jailbirds, felons, ex-cons, and prisoners, there is something great in all of us just dying to get out! I was captivated by this movie! I am compelled now to start my own story! Well done and thank you for such an inspiration! I am grateful! LadyAnn68

Hijacking the Brain...Kidnapping the Innocence...Take Action Now
6 January 2016
In this film we are taken to one of the darkest abyss humans can actually visit. Within this abyss, there is a hijacking of the brain and the willpower along with the murder of innocence, the extreme fright, the possibility of disease and the compelling control of the sick. To remain human after such an experience will be the only word that can fit...SURVIVOR. The only way to get to the survivor is with the help and fight of family, contentious human kindness and support, and the will of the Lord. The selling or trafficking of humans is beyond understanding in this day and age yet it is happening in our country right under our noses in our own neighborhoods. The kidnapping of the unsuspecting violating any trust is part of the recovery that takes the longest. But action is needed and needed now. I applaud this young woman for reaching out and beign the VOICE for the victims. I am an addiction psychologist specialist and I see this many times in clients that have been trying to survive with my professional help! More power to those who become aware and DO SOMETHING! Save our youth! LadyAnn68

Therapeutic value of tobacco, and the company behind it
21 October 2015
Once again I am forced by conscious to respond to this movie, which I was compelled to watch. It is a marvelous victory indeed to beat such and Goliath with just one person who cared enough to see it through and believed in her heart she was doing the right thing. Well I most heartily agree she indeed did the right thing and during this movie while in discovery phase of the case, found not only did the tobacco company lie on documents but lied during advocating the "good" of tobacco with prizes and free gifts when trying this brand, which all kids will do for the prize, it became apparent that they knew before hand it was dangerous. This movie is about a fight that no one can win, especially not the tobacco user who does obtain terminal cancer!!!!! They are the real losers. I am a fighter of addiction in all aspects and this move has a soft spot and a kind word that needs to be shown with its message to the world!!!!! Bravo for the making of this and letting some of us who fight enormous battles of addiction plights to see some kind of satisfaction in an entertainment form! I enjoyed watching the struggles and the climb to the winning circle! Excellent view of fighting addiction from the legal aspect in defense of our clients and patients! LadyAnn68

Addiction is addiction...!
13 October 2015
Since I am an Addiction Psychologist Specialist, in training, I was forced to watch this all the way through. This is actually one case scenario I have not yet battled with any client. But I do understand the therapist in this movie and how she used addiction lingo to get her message across to her client. She got it across to me as well. As a therapist, this is a case that you would use psychoanalytic theory to get at the harbored suppressed past, and I think they actually portrayed the addiction very well. I did feel very sorry for her husband (handsome husband) who is faithful and has this kind of woman for a wife...but love does conquer all. It is not so easy in real life but the message was real and there for anyone who really is looking! Thankyou, LadyAnn68

Devastating emotional pain from trauma
7 October 2015
In this excellently done movie, Sam Jackson plays the vigilante villain who murders! This is an unusual twist but on the fateful night that the DA becomes involved with an accident the story line is just tremendous. Each character does a wonderful job acting and the at the end you can't help but see the intention of the villain who really wants to end his life and has set it up so that the DA understands his feelings inside but also sets him up to take the rap. The DA is so clever and smart he actually figured out the correct answers and thus was able to ease his own conscience and focus to investigate. The man who plays the DA is excellent at showing the actual emotions that he faces with guilt, discovery, investigation, family loyalty and sentiment all facially, this is a rare quality that actors have. One actress who can do this is Demi Moore, she can with just face show any kind of emotions...this man was able to do this as well. The movie was intriguing, exciting, suspenseful, and creatively done. Bravo on the director and the casting! Samuel Jackson is always a sure bet but the DA is a surprising new and upcoming wonderful player! This move held the attention and was not so violent that you wanted to change the channel! It shows good vs evil and the integrity of the DA! Again the DA did a wonderful job with this one!! A must watch if you like suspenseful intrigues and law focused movies.

Compassionate and Love for Life
8 July 2015
This was a tremendous movie not only with the song lyrics but the making behind the movie. Gugu plays this to a tee and she is a fine upcoming actress I hope makes it in the movie world. But it is all about the meaning "between the lines"! You must pay attention to the very beginning and the dialogue to understand the rest. However, the meaning of life is showing who you are, and being proud of it...and if you are afraid of being the "real you" it may take the "love" and "compassion" of a stronger force to bring it out in you! This movie should appeal to both genders but I know every women globally would enjoy it! It brings tears of joy streaming down one's cheeks! Congrats Gugu and Nate for a brilliant performance by both of you! LadyAnn68

Terrible Angels or are we?
27 May 2015
This movie hit so close to MY previous addicted spirit as I once was a "terrible angel" by conscious choice and wide-eyed decisions. The movie was compelling. If anyone has lived an impulsive lifestyle, that of illegalities or immoral value(s) that are induced by a power force that hijacks our self discipline, creates the illusionary addicted personality, and listens to the negative neuronal-adapted brain messaging under the influence of external substances, then you will understand that once an "addicted" life is so far out of control...the chances of that life ever retuning to a homeostasis of normal functioning...is slim to nil. The term "hit rock bottom" doesn't even come close to what really does happen. So if we look at ALL the prevention and intervention programs, education programs, science, social welfare contributions, and all the counseling with rehabilitation facilities, and private doctors and mental health facilities and treatment(s) increasing, even lose our faith...still many do not overcome that power-force drive. But if you were a VISIONARY and your purpose in life was to set out saving these save-less damaged lives, one must ponder how to commence these undertaking which is almost an impossible task. The term "terrible angel" for me...meant myself during my addicted years and all those I hurt, betrayed, stole, lied, or deceived...these were my "terrible angel" behavioral acts, and in trying to secure that addicted lifestyle, even though I may not have tried to do these things with intent to hurt, destroy, and/or deceive, it happened anyway. We don't feel the pain under the influence...but the outside world around us does. In this movie I did not get it until the last minutes...and then it hit me like a brick wall...what a concept...that I am sure many mothers, fathers, or siblings have deeply thought of exactly how far they would go to accomplish this dramatic reversal...most family members cannot for miscellaneous reasons, but for the most part they can't endure the suffering of themselves or their loved one. But the "terrible angels" in this movie refers to the catastrophic, undermining, unethical, fear-promoting, behavioral actions that a "guardian angel" will do to reverse the "addicted cycle process" and give it one last shot to SAVE this life's soul. So the terrible things this angel does is in actuality an "Act of God"..."to save these lives", especially if it works. The terrible acts performed are simply to instill fear of worse than death making the addicted individual snap out of the addicted world by detox coupled with scare tactics...What a brilliant methodical detailed out plan...who ever thought of it even just in a movie, was a genius! Tremendous concept, including the title. This movie will appeal to all who have risen above their own demons and perhaps to scientists. Thank you for this movie...I will show it to many! Bravo! LadyAnn Graham-Gilreath
