Fisherman's Friends: One and All (2022)

Heartwarming , funny , emotional and great characters - loved it

I really enjoyed the first movie and though this one was as good maybe a even better . The main characters were excellent and you really felt a good connection to them and story , a good mixture of fun , tears and feel good . A great watch.

Well that's 2 hours of my life I won't get back , the trailer looked promising but I watched the movie wandering what was going on and waiting for something to happen but it just didn't. I nearly left half way but through but thought no lets see if there any nice surprises but they never came . Some will probably rave about this movie but just work for me .

Thor: Love and Thunder (2022)

I've enjoyed the Thor movies, with the exception of Christian Bale doing a good job in this I though the overall movie was just poor to the point I thought why am I'm still watching it . I'm getting the sense these Marvel movies need to take a break for a good 10 years.

Elvis (2022)

I can't put my finger on why but was a little disappointed with this movie

Firstly Austin Butler was great , he could actually be Elvis as he looked so much like him and clearly worked hard to do Elvis justice , but I didn't really enjoy the movie but can't put my finger on why , the Main actors did a good job but I couldn't really get an emotional connection with them or the story line until the very end , I thought the legend Tom Hanks had too much of a part to play and Elvis didn't get enough , the story seemed to bounce all over the place and to me just felt and bit disjointed , Im no movie critic or expert so I recommend seeing it as lots have really raved about it but I woo the be watching it again.

The Black Phone (2021)

What a nice yet unexpected surprise , really good movie

I was glued from start to finish the two young actors Mason Thames and Madeleine McGraw were excellent particularly Madeline , but both have bright futures and I look forward to seeing them in more . I wasn't excepting much but this was a brilliant Psychological thriller and keeps you engaged and on the edge of your seat. Definitely worth a watch .

Top Gun: Maverick (2022)

I was worried because really enjoyed the first one and it didn't disappoint, I thought this movie was fantastic , best movie I've seen for a long long time and I've already booked to see it again . Nice to see it wasn't all CGI . Well worth a watch.

The Lost City (2022)

Disappointed all the good parts in the trailer

I was really looking forward to this as the trailer looked good , kinda disappointed as all the good bit seemed to be in the trailer , jokes ok but not enough , worth a watch if you have an unlimited card but I wouldn't pay the regular price to watch it at the cinema.

Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (2022)

I've got an unlimited card and only went to watch the this movie because I'd seen everything else , I enjoyed the first movie but loved this one , just great entertainment and perfect for all the the family , I'm not surprised it's the number 1 film in the UK.

Got to be honest , I couldn't find anything to watch so gave this a go thinking I'd turn it off after 10 mins but hate to admit I really enjoyed this movie , no fancy reviews but liked the characters And thought it was something a bit different . Worth a watch.

Ambulance (2022)

I didn't have any expectations of this movie but was pleasantly surprised , I like Jake G he's a pretty decent actor and he didn't disappoint , plenty of good action and fast paced movie and well worth a watch .

The Matrix Resurrections (I) (2021)

I love Keane Reeve but wasn't a die hard Matrix fan but I enjoyed watching them all those years ago but must admit I got lost in this movie and not in a good way way , I just couldn't keep up with what was going on, my son who in fairness hasn't seen any Matrix films didn't have a clue what was going on as there are lots of clips and references to past movies . So not one of my favourites but maybe if your a die hard fan you'll like it.

Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021)

I think Tom Holland has really taken Spider man to the next level and really made the role his own that being said I wasn't sure what to expect with this one but I loved it , well worth a watch.

I watch this movie after reading quite allot of negative reviews but I like Sandra Bullock so thought I'd give it a go , first off I'm not sure why the negative reviews because in my view it was a pretty decent watch , Sandra Bullock was at her best and I thought she was brilliant in it , so glad I watched it .

West Side Story (2021)

Entertaining but couldn't connect with the characters

Worth a watch but I wouldn't say I came put thinking wow that was good, It would have done with subtitles as got lost as there was quite a bit of foreign language in it , I didn't really connect with the characters . For me this was a one time watch and a five out of ten.

King Richard (2021)

I really enjoyed this movies , but got to admit Will Smith made it , his best performance and movie for a long time , also appreciated a bit of a insight to how thhe Williams sisters started out , a really good watch for me and one of the better movies I've seen for a while .
