The only acting part carried well was by Esai Morales in the role of Francisco d'Anconia. At times the tedious scenes reminded me of a Hallmark mov for tv. Other scenes were just cringeworthy for their poor character portrayals. The CG inserts of disasters was beyond amateur. Location callouts didn't even come close as the steel mill portrayed as being in Philadelphia was laughable. The same for the cinematography. This film reminded me of something shot on 1st takes only with no regard to character review during dailies. The railroad scenes with trees shot from drones in river valleys looked looked like plastic HO model add-ins. I stopped watching numerous times just to reset my 'yuk' response mechanisms.

Docudrama wannabe crime story

This film would make a great movie with actors that could act, sound technicians that had the ability to record dialogue without using a cassette recorder, and digital visual recordings that weren't made using iPhone 6's. The script is promising, but the cinematography and framing were on par with high school students on a weekend film shooting project. Every scene looked and sounded like 1st takes and 1st takes only - complete with dialogue goofs and do overs. This film is not to be confused with a movie.
