The Notebook (2004)

The original is better!!

I loved the original movie with them passing away in each other's arms. Netflix decided to cut that: what a shame. Sad that a streaming service can alter a movie like that. ;-( The original ending makes the movie full circle. Their final words "Do you think our love can take us away together?" have so much more meaning. I just watched the Netflix version and it's just not the same. The movie has lost all its impact, charm and power.

I hope Netflix recognizes its mistake soon and will decide to reinstate the original ending to restore the movie's full impact. The movie needs this ending, deserves this ending!

Toy Story 4 (2019)

No magic

Toy story was special because of the bonding between the toys themselves and between them and Andy. Now that they are with Bonnie, you'd expect to get that same feeling. It did not develop. In contrast, she bonded with Forkie and the gang was an excessory.
