Rick and Morty: That's Amorte (2023) Season 7, Episode 4

Genius episode that takes you through a roller-coaster of emotions

This episode was top class. Fun for the whole ride, hilarious, but poignant at the same time. A great critique of (so-called) ethically sourced products and the human condition, along with our hypocrisy and consumerism to go with it.

Right from the initial disclaimer at the start of the episode, I was curious to see how this episode was going to tackle this particular area. I'm not sure how but it managed to do it without being clichéd and made me genuinely think and reflect.

Rick and Morty at its best. Making you laugh, wince, cringe and then start questioning why Italian food tastes so good! 10/10.

Richie Rich (2015)

My 8 year old son wanted me to see how bad this is

This series is awful, it's a travesty, my 8 year old son, after we had watched original film from the 90's wanted me to watch an episode just to see how bad it is. It is full of canned laughter as no real humans would ever laugh at the unfunny jokes, the silly storylines and the just plain annoyance and dislike that you will have of everyone in the series.

Also, having a robot maid that is dressed like a stripper is not really what one expects in a kid's TV series. It is a travesty.

The Bite (2021)

Really fun ride.

I don't review many shows, but this one was a diamond in the rough. I've watched a lot of shows, a lot of apocalypse shows and this was was fun. It didn't take itself too seriously and made me laugh. Ironically, I contracted covid-19 whilst watching this, which I think made it all the more relevant and funny for me.

It's short, it's relevant and it's funny. 8/10 for me.

Stargate Origins (2018)

From someone who has only ever seen the film Stargate.

I found this entertaining and on a similar feel to the 1994 film. I intend to watch SG1 and the other related series, but as of this moment have not any more Stargate 'experience' apart from the film and these webisodes. Similar feel/style/music. I think this may have me interested in watching SG1 now.
