Clock (2023)
I actually agree with the low rating...
**Potential Spoilers**
Normally I'm really open minded when it comes to lower rated movies. There was so much more potential, especially given who some of the actors were. The concept of this movie was really cool and seemed like it was headed in the right direction.
By the time the credits rolled, I was still so confused, irritated and had predicted pretty much the whole premise of the movie. There were very few surprises, at least for me.
It really could have been so much better. So many questions were left unanswered and to try and wrap the end up with some kind of psychological thriller ending of a bow, it quite literally fell flat.
Jerry & Marge Go Large (2022)
So uplifting and positive!
If you need something to brighten your day, this will check all the boxes.
Bryan Cranston and Annette Bening were perfectly matched and always a joy to watch. Great ensemble cast which provided more than a few giggles. The pacing of this movie made it to where I actually didn't check my phone the entire time! Kind of a miracle, if I'm being honest.
Being based on a true story makes it that much more fun. Really provided a great perspective on how there is still good in the world and what is truly important. It was better than anti-anxiety meds! I hope you enjoy it as much as we did! Fully deserved the 10 stars.
The Cleansing Hour (2019)
Ok...did not expect that!
Totally thought this would be super campy and corny. At first, yeah and I got a huge kick out of the "comments" during the live stream. Sooooo did not expect it to turn into what it did and ended up being so glad I watched it. It's been forever since I've been this surprised by a movie like this that I had to give 10 stars. Seriously loved it and some of those twists I honestly did not see coming. What I think added to my enjoyment and shock value is the way of the world right now. Couldn't have been more perfectly timed for Halloween 2020.
