M (1931)
10/10
Magnificent, visual and sonically.
9 October 2012
This is a wonderful film, the great Fritz Lang. The story is entertaining, suspenseful, shortcuts, track. A solid script and good pace. Until there is a good film normal. But M has those details that make it a masterpiece, visual treatment, the director's vision ... Throughout the film we see the effect of acusmatia, sound effect that makes us imagine, that shows the importance of sound in film, five years since the arrival of talkies, Lang used this in a great way, plans show us a part of this universe that we make M, and the sound gives us another piece of information and you do just superb. The camera shots are enigmatic in any sense, based on this story unfolds seamlessly, making this a wonderful film.

Humanimal (2010)
5/10
Experimental horror show
9 October 2012
Humanimal, is a Chilean film that mixes the experimental with the horror, a film without words, a location, a few characters and camera shots modest. A story without many surprises, but it is understood the plot of a very good way. Creative and rhythmic Humanimal make a film that should be seen, unless they seek only high budget films and conventional thematic and aesthetic. Highlight Ramon Llao (The Turtle) for his great and successful performance. A note also that it is a movie coming out from the conventional in a country where a film is difficult and the market is very small, especially for films of this genre. However, the pace slows down the story, but not to sink the film.

Prom Night (1980)
6/10
Good, bad and expendable.
8 October 2012
Prom night is a slasher film that is not surprising after 22 years. This is because it is a very good film that frames its parameters, its twists and gender aesthetic environment. It is obvious that many of the films style, after Prom Night, have a lot of it. With no high-contrast lighting, no color (except for holidays), with fairly common camera shots, also achieved by slasher that feeling where you look. Including the great principle of the film and all attributes that have served as a school for the other films, is recommended. By the way, Jamie Lee Curtis, has a brisk 20 minutes in the film, but in turn, and strange to be a murderer, starring little.

Das komabrutale Duell (1999 Video)

Very Gore, but sin rhythm
8 October 2012
A bad movie, that's the truth. Despite being film Z is not a criteria to recognize this movie as good or fair, though, the film has what promises too much, much gore, no rhythm completely, a nonsensical story and uncreative ... to the make a gore movie, consider that by having 125 minutes of blood and violence, means that the viewer enjoy the gore, like me for example, I was pleased with the film ... must have rhythm, knowing when to and when not gore. In this sense the film fails ... But if we see Faces Of Death, but fictitiously ... clear Komabrutale Das Duell served, if we see gore film, with all that has to be a movie ... only see gore and not a movie.
