Drifter: Henry Lee Lucas (2009)
Yikes
When you see Antonio Sabata Jr is the star, you should already know what you're about to get. But being a true story murder junkie, I had to check it out. And yeah... pretty bad. But I liked learning more backstory. So if you're hunting for a good kinda Lifetime movie type film, just with a lot of bad language and gore, this one's for you.
The Vanished (2020)
Surprising
Within 10mins of this starting, I was in shock at how terrible the acting was. Both Jane and Heche have always been pretty good... another 15mins in and I was scripting this review still annoyed. But I was intrigued that Fancinelli wrote it, and Patric's involvement also had me wanting to keep giving it a chance. (That and I had nothing else to do tonight.) And guess what, pretty much what I saw other reviewers post here... worth the perseverance. I actually felt relieved that when it ended, what I thought was terrible acting, was all somehow explained. All along I liked the pacing, the shooting, all in and all good directing. So stick with it. If you're annoyed at the beginning, push through. Nothing like a movie with a good ending.
Hidden Away (2013)
So cheesy!
Watched the trailer thinking A) looks like a complete repeat of Enough with JLo; which while I'm a fan of hers, it was pretty cheesy itself, but was way better than this. I watched til the end but yelled at the tv exceeding as it was just ridiculous. Gave it a 4 because like a train wreck, you just had to stare. Watch it if you want a B grade movie to laugh at.
The Professor and the Madman (2019)
Critics got this one wrong
I thought it was great! The acting, the pacing, the heartache... all made for a fine movie and historical work.
What/If (2019)
Soooo Good!!!
Score, acting, suspense, action, pacing, trash and RENEE!
I can't believe how much I liked it.
And yes as others said, BINGEY.
Ala Dynasty but GREAT this time!!!
