Maid (2021)
Been There Seen That
This is not a new story. My mother lived, although she didn't become a writer. I have several family live it. In my ex line of work, now retired, I've seen story played over and over. The lesson women are resilient and strong! Long story short I wish this story had been told through the eyes of a minorty woman, because it's been much tougher for them. Not a bad movie. Another lesson in when caucasian women speak people listen. Like a story as old as time.
Manifest (2018)
Ughhh
I am so tired of film maker's trying to shove religion down everyone's throat.
Darwin (2011)
Wow
I kind of feel sorry for the majority of the people in this documentary. If you want to be reminded how dysfunctional and mentally unstable some humans are. Watch this! A perplexing film about a bunch lost souls.
The Gentlemen (2019)
Pure Entertainment!
Four words...EYE CANDY FOR EVERYONE! Great acting, thoroughly enjoyed it!
Sea to Shining Sea (2017)
Been There
I took this same road trip years ago. So much fun. This quirky movie brings back so many fun memories. The dialogue in movie is simple and deep, at the same time.
The Vow (2020)
Yawn
Same ole self help rules we've been hearing for decades. Yawn.
Stockton on My Mind (2020)
Thank you.
What an uplifting documentary. Knowing the Stockton area, I feel encouraged. Bless the human spirit. Thank you Mayor Tubbs.
We Are Who We Are (2020)
What's with the kid?
What a horrible obnoxious kid. I can't watch, he's so annoying. Good luck.
Taking Chance (2009)
Thank you.
I do not always agree with the war, but I always respect the soldier. Good movie about a very sobering subject.
William and Mary (2003)
Mary, Mary quite Contrary
Mary's character is a pain, but still fun to watch. Love the contrast between birth and death situations.
Marriage Story (2019)
Depressingly Long
Although, there were some good parts/scenes. I found this flick be depressingly long. The characters were in my opinion exaggerated. But still worth a watch. I like Adam Driver, but not in this role.
Children of Giant (2015)
Wonderful Documentary
I was born in El Paso Texas 1958 a year before Giant was released. I did not see Giant till about aged 13. Having grown up a Hispanic female in Texas I was always aware of the prejudice that existed around me but I didn't really sink in till I saw Giant. Giant had a very positive effect on me and my future success in life. The Children of Giant is one of the best documentaries I've seen in years. Great interviews, great screen footage. A good history lesson that is well rounded giving information about the Edna Ferber, the Hollywood crew, the citizens of Marfa Texas and impact the Giant had on not only the United States but the movie going world at the time. I really enjoyed it and recommend both Giant and The Children of Giant.
