Meet the parents but much worse

This attempt to steal and rebrand "Meet the Parents" and "Meet the Fockers" is a total fail. Eddie Murphy is a comedian, right????? Then why so un-funny. I can't stress enough... avoid this one. Woke... yes. Funny and Entertaining.... No. Jonah Hill needs to mature. That hair was awful. He has made some nice movies but I'm betting those were scripted. This seemed to be loosely scripted. Bottom line though.... Great stars but lacking purpose and interest. I want my 2 hours back please. While I'm at it.... Not everything needs to be woke and yea, diversity can work even though this movie seems to be telling us it cannot.

The Tender Bar (2021)

Tender film of family love.

This boy's odds are low due to the cards dealt him and his Mom. A strong and courageous uncle inspires this boy to explore life and develop his talent. The film is photographed beautifully and the acting was authentic. A lovely journey.

American Underdog (2021)

Surprise!

I have to begin by saying I am a huge NFL fan. But, to my surprise, this was not a movie about the NFL. It is a touching story about an athlete and the strong woman by his side. We often here the words faith, hope, and love in spiritual talks and discussion. What do these words look like in life.... The Warner family. This movie does a nice job at showing the path to success and yes, it comes with trials and tribulations. This was well done.

Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021)

I wanted to love this...

I wanted to love this movie but it just dragged on and on. Sure, it had some great effects and surprises but they just insisted on showing too much. Twenty to Thirty minutes of this film should have been moved to the delete bucket... but the editors just had to leave it here so we could see all the scenes they created.

House of Gucci (2021)

First, I think Lady Gaga should move permanently to acting. She is excellent in this and her other films. The star studded cast was great to see after a long hiatus from the theatre and they do not disappoint. Al Pacino especially showed us his A-Game. As for the plot... I had no idea this family was so crazy. I was entertained.

Ford v Ferrari (2019)

Entertaining from beginning to end with a bit of a surprise at the end. The story line seemed very real and while I'm sure they embellished in spots, it provides a view into the history of car manufacturing and that race to be the best and the fastest on the planet.

Two scenes really made this movie;

• The Bruce Lee fight scene.... clever good! I realize the Bruce Lee family may have disliked this but it was perfectly done.
• The ending.

I'll leave it at this. I really thought Tarantino nailed the script.

Deadwood: The Movie (2019 TV Movie)

This movie did not progress deadwood at all. Sure it was good to see the modernization of the buildings, and some of the characters. But, the story really didn't progress. I think it was a good idea but The producers just didn't know how to make things work. If I were you, I would stick to the series and skip the movie. If you have to watch the movie, do it while folding laundry so at the end you can have a sense of accomplishment

Wonderful movie with breathtaking reality. How did they train those animals to act, sing, and dance! Seriously, amazing movie.... critical reviews are strange to me, people don't like that this movie replicates the cartoon... what did they expect? I saw the Broadway play and spoiler alert.... Simba became King. Of course we know the story!!!!!!!!!

Beyonce is fantastic, she is the star!

Note: 3D was ok but not required. See it in 3D if you enjoy wearing the glasses.

Season 2 is so stupid.... keeping the secret of a killing that was so obviously self defense. Why? So they can make season 2. And Meryl Streep is such a bore, I may not make it to the end.

I don't know what was missing here.... but this was enjoyable.... a good popcorn movie. I think the plot was a bit predictable. Overall, I enjoyed it.

Enjoyed this movie from start to finish. The story was very original, the CGI work was amazing, and the 3D was well worth the extra cost. Go see it and enjoy!

A fun and creative tribute to the Beatles. This movie was very enjoyable and I give this high applause! Well done! The producers could have made political statements or had a political message underneath, they chose not to. Thank you!

Toy Story 4 (2019)

I love Woods and the gang and found Toy Story 1, 2, and 3 to set the standard for modern animated pictures. This was really good but lacked the maturity of the others. Disney makes magic... their best films speak to children, teens, millennials, adults, grand parents, etc.... it's amazing. Toy Story 4 spoke more to kids, less to those older. Thus, not a ten.

Not a total miss, some good music, but the focus is on his down and out lifestyle.... could it have been that terrible? I wonder if a movie can focus on the goodness of life and be successful? Maybe not... people want to see a train wreck. They got one here.

I'm surprised this was written by women. They were trying to create Superbad from the dorky studious girls perspective but missed the mark. These girls are funny but they really didn't achieve much during their night of passage. The wild girls driving crazy to the graduation was the right ending but the meat of the movie doesn't successfully link them from beginning of movie to this end.

I thought the humor helped, especially Dad. I was on the wrong path initially, thinking the clones were manufactured somehow by the house of mirrors. But, then I got a feeling that something happened to that girl when she bumped into her twin. So, the ending was not a huge surprise for me. Biggest question unanswered??? Why was the boys clone burned?

13 Reasons Why (2017–2020)

Season 2 just too unrealistic

Season 1 does a nice job with exposing the tough topic of teen suicide. I felt it was an excellent portrayal of bullying and teen issues resulting in serious dialogue. But, season 2 gets ridiculous. Especially episode 13. The producers lost focus and just threw a plate of spaghetti against the wall to see what topic sticks. In the process, the show becomes a farce.

The Upside (2017)

Surprised!

Cranston, Hart, and Kidman were very believable on this heartwarming story of a man who left paralyzed by an accident. More damaging though is his paralization due to the death of his loved one, his wife. Attempts to enjoy life fail over and over again until he meets his new care taker and soon to be beat friend. They both need each other to rediscover what lives inside each of them.... amazing men. Heart warming and funny.

Isn't It Romantic (2019)

I enjoyed this movie! Rebel Wilson and Adam Devine are a great team. Loved the concept and thought the cast nailed their performances. Romantic Comedy within a parody of Romantic Comedies.... very funny.

I went into this movie thinking it would include lots of vengeance and killing. Yup! That was the movie..... kills. I appreciate the humorous approach to dealing with the absurdity. You won't see this as an Oscar Nominee, but it provided a couple hours of entertainment.

I enjoyed this movie for what it was... Spider-Man action. The story kept my interest, the graphics were very well done, the ending was satisfying.... this movie delivered what's most important... good, fun, entertainment!
