A very likable look at Joey Cramer
26 December 2020
I had never seen Flight of the Navigator, but I was a big fan of Lisa Downs previous work in her "Life "After" series and I have to admit this was good. Joey came off as a very likable, but flawed, individual and another example of a childhood star that fell from grace. I was rooting for Joey to find his footing again and get his life back on track. It sure seems like he is on the right path and I hope he can take advantage of this second chance.

Dark & Good

Found this movie after seeing another film from the same Director. This had some actors I hadn't seen before and a really good story. It took some dark turns, which were unexpected, and kept advancing the story.

Great Indie!

Really enjoyed this movie. I was hooked during the first big exchange between Burt and Guy and it never let up. The story was unique, which seems to be a rarity these days with all the sequels and remakes. It's refreshing that someone in Hollywood can still have an original idea. I gave it five stars for that fact alone. Buy or rent this movie. You won't be disappointed.

Elstree 1976 (2015)

A nostalgic look back at some of the actors from the 1977 classic...
30 October 2015
The timing of this movie couldn't be better. With The Force Awakens hype at a feverish pitch, this nostalgic look back at the stories of ten individuals whose acting jobs during the summer of 1976 forever changed their lives. No one knew it at the time, but this American Sci-Fi project they were hired for would go on to be one of the highest grossing franchises in the history of cinema. While none of these actors has found worldwide success in film or had their life cut tragically short, Elstree 1976 is a touching story about their common brush with fame as pioneers in the Star Wars universe. If you're a fan of the 1977 classic, you will love this film. If you're not a big fan, but appreciate a great character driven documentary, this would also be for you. There is enough here to keep everyone happy as we travel back a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away
