Dora the Explorer (2000–2019)

4/10? Come on.

This has a avarage rating of 4 out of 10. I find that a bit unfair. This show is great for young children 2-5 years old or so, and explores many subjects, teaches language, maths, and a lot of more topics while clearly engaging the children.

From an adaults point of view it's pretty unbearable though. lol

So to sum it up, great for small children not so much for an older audience. Kind of like Friday the 13th inverted.

The voices are simply awful. It's a shame because apart from that, the movie is ok.

The Passage (2019)

OK so far.. i guess

It's true, this show is very different from the books so far. It's true, some acting is not very good. It's true that they have changed genders and ethnicity of some of the characters. It's true that they have changed/removed/added parts of the story.

BUT, it's not that bad like some people make it out to be, it's not great, it's not bad. It's ok. It's true. :D

I LOVE the books and they are some of the best books i've ever read and the characters are mostly fantastic, especially Fanning. I am NOT expecting this from a TV show... I am, however, expecting to be mildly entertained and suprised, and i think the show has delivered that so far, and i am intrigued too find out where it will take us. If it takes us to a crappy place, so be it. Everyone will stop watching and that will be that. But lets hope that wont be the case.

Edit: i have finished the first season. It's not great, no. They have also decided to keep some present-day characters alive for the coming future season. I did not like the transition from present to future, was way better in the books.

Overall 5/10, hopefully i will be busy when s2 is out so i can resist slipping back to watching this again. There are way better shows out there.
