Black Mirror: Mazey Day (2023) Season 6, Episode 4

Very bad episode.

This is far away from the usual Black Mirror. This episode started with cameras as the main idea, which i liked, as the technology does not involve new era only. But then, the story leans on something away from technology, toward the werewolf legend!!

Most of the episodes contain unexpected turns, but all around the theme of technology. In this episode it was a failure.

Furthermore, there was a lot of unnecessary characters. The it would have been better to deeply discover more about the main characters, such as their history, motives, relationships.

I hope the next one make up for me!

Fear the Walking Dead (2015–2023)

The biggest plot hole!!!

I am a big fan of Walking Dead, the series that made me love zombie series. However, i hated season 10 for one of the worst plot hole ever.

What happened is that in WD they knew very late that they can hide among the deads if they smelled like them, covering their bodies with blood. So how come they encounter walking deads without doing this easy trick!

In FTWD they discovered this way soon, but still they do not use it!

Another plot hole is in season 2 when the deads head to the farm. First of all, the farm people did not use the deads blood trick, but another plot hole is that they just waited for them to come, when obviously they could have led then to another direction using the the loud sound method.

Last mistake is although people used maybe ten names for the "walking dead", none of them used the word Zombie.

The Elderly (2022)

Worth watching

I gave the movie 9 for several reasons:

Great horror music and atmosphere.

Good acting.

Reality of characters.

Me and my wife enjoyed it so much. It was suspenseful all the time, do not agree at all with people complaining it was slow. I really wished i could watch it in cinema

A lot of horror movies is a failure for my own taste. Films like "ring" and "grudge" that has no justified events rather than an evil creature killing everyone for no reason. But here, we have a really good story, some supernatural events and surprises.

Of course there are holes in the plot, but overall i feel lucky that i randomly picked it.

1899 (2022)

What happened?

Ok i admit i was confused about my rating. I decided one day that i would rate 10 anything that entertains me. I give extra credit to science fiction as my childhood dream is to be kidnapped by aliens just to feed my curiosity.

But honestly I couldn't concentrate on 1899. It could not blow my mind.. I found no connection between the whole story and the last theee minutes that was supposed to explain what the hell was happening and why!?

I found myself agreeing with all the negative reviews here. They are very true, explained my controversial feelings between hope and reality.

I tried to play my mind to make my excitement a reality, but sadly it is not that easy!

Ritual (2012)

Such ratings, makes me wanna forget about ratings in general! I find this movie one of the most shocking of all times.. It is for people who like dark atmospheres... I spent 3 days trying to figure out what actually happened, could not ignore thinking about it, and when i understood it, i had to rethink of the whole movie.. an experience i doubt will happen again to me. Love it.

I actually hate when someone recommends not to watch a certain movie, I believe we should not miss the opportunity to watch a movie that so not match other people's taste... But this tims!!! OMG! A real waste if time.. This movie lacks ever single motivation to spend 1:30 hour of your life.

Irmandade (2019– )

Come on... I think this was one of the worst series ever.. i mean, did they really missed what was happening! It was sooooo obvious wether in the circumstances, body and face language that director was so happy to take close shots, or her dump looks to her partners!!!! Get me out of here.

Barbarians (2020–2022)

What a bad show.. I watched it anyway because i had no other options.

First of all, Ariminus character act was really bad. He seems comedian most of the time. Does he really have the look of a hero! He seems to have weak personality.

Then, the face language was really exposing. Any skill of face reading would expose what Ari was planning.

OK forget the face.. how come he publicly talks about revolution in front of thousands of people, with no single spy among them! How could his intentions hid from his master!? It's just impossible.

Thuslenda.. How the hell do they think she communicates to god? We witnessed absolutely no proof about it. Just a little thunder in a late episode ?

I found this movie good to watch, no waste of time. I read some negative reviews but i think we need more unique stories like this one. The overall atmosphere is magical, the combination between the two teams (actors and new people) is interesting. A game of brainwashing and who will fight back using the rules that the boss himself imposed.

Really boring. You made me miss scare tactics so much!

One prank each episode is very little. They fail to pull good reactions from the guests and the dialogue is loooong and repeats itself.

The first 2 seasons were very good, but now i see poor acting, nothing new but some weak new characters that failed making a refreshment to the old same story. I am shocked to see the hight ratings! It's horrible for me

Serious plot errors

I love the show, so far am near the end of s8. But there are sone plot mistake.

First: aren't there kids walking dead! Everybody seem to be 20 years old or older.

Second: is biting the way to get infected? How come getting covered with EVERY liquid from a deadwalker does not infect you? OK, if we ignore that, how come after maybe 5 years Negan "discovers" that only "touching" the walkers blood will infect you!!!!

Third: no explanation how can the WHOLE world get infected at the same moment? Is it medically possible!? 7 billions?

Ugliest show ever. I really love creepy dark movies, but with no pont at all? No plot? At least a twisted surprise at the end? I regret my wasted time, even if it was 1 second 🙁

I have a habit to highly appreciate any movie with a good ending, which I think was very successful here.

The move has some weak points, but I decided to consider it comedy parts, even though it wasn't meant to be so. For example, the arm scenes were horrible, but why not laugh at it and continue enjoying the movie!

The small girl in the end really tricked me. She made me think it wasn't that bad on earth! They were calm and text each other's, then suddenly the husband shout at his wife's work partner not to let her come to earth. A million question in my mind, and suddenly the perfect end.

Enjoyable if you don't take it that serious.

Good and bad!!

This movie is good in some parts, horrible at others....

The main idea is correcting the relationships between the two main characters, which I think most reviewers missed, that's why I gave it 6 when it actually deserves less.

There was a lot of unnecessary, none logical scenes, especially the super wired conversation between the main character and the new liver about! the neighbor who loved the other man's wife and got killed for her when he knew her for only 3 days!!!

About the ending, I like open endings but not this time. Open endings usually have meanings or accrue when the most important events finishes, but this time it was very bad executed.

Anyway, still waiting for a real Netflix good movie !

Annihilation (I) (2018)

One of the worst ever

I expected to watch at least an average science movie, especially I like Natalie Portman. But it was a real disaster. I only continued to watch it to see the visual effects, the only bright point! But the whole other aspects were really bad.

Even the dialogue was like a 3 year old kid wrote it. (- what was that noise? - I don't know) wow !

The angles of the camera in the action scenes were terrible.

The last scene is the worst ever. Did they really trusted the man after what they knew! I cannot believe there are people thought that scene was smart and a good example of an open end!

I almost feel angry about myself for wasting time.
