Best horror movie of the year so far
21 May 2020
First of all there are not so many musicians, that act well in a movie. Mary J. Blige is surprisingly good, I liked her in that one. Because of corona not so many horror movies came out till now 21st of may in this year and I must say this is the best one so far. The other one that I liked was The Invisible Man 2020 and both movies are supernatural.

Identity (2003) meets Extreme Measures (1996) at its best
14 April 2020
Wow, what a good movie. Identity (2003) is one of the best twisty ending movies ever, but Fractured is twisty all the way till the end. It keeps you watching. Absolutely a well done movie. It is just like the Fact or Fiction TV series, you just don't know what is fact and what is fiction. Don't believe those reviewers, who say that this movie is predictable. I personally would have preferred a different ending, but as Rolling Stones sing "You can't always get, what you want"

A good movie similar to Amityville
21 September 2016
I recommend this movie absolutely. There are similarities to other movies like Amityville, which is also cited in the movie. The director and at the same time writer of the movie must be a fan of Amityville movies just like me. The opening is very good and very promising, so that it makes you curious for more. The acting is good, Neal McDonough is the sheriff and the main actress Jodelle Ferland is known for The Tall Man (2012). Before I watched it, I thought it's about a ghost house. Was I right? It was not only this. By the way the special effects are also good. Altogether it is a 6.2 or 6.3 movie for me.

Worst film of Brad Pitt so far
20 January 2013
This film is waste of time, no tension, no thrill.

Why?: The Story is boring and nothing interesting happens. If you hear the name Brab Pitt and Ray Liotta, I would thing, this film cannot be bad and I must see it. I was wrong and really disappointed in this case.

Only a killing scene in slow motion was a little interesting, but that was only about 60 seconds. The lowest rated film of Brad Pitt in IMDb is the low-budget-film Cutting Class and Cutting Class is for me more watchable than this one.

Hey Brad, make a good movie next time and I will forget this one, OK? Good news is the next one can only be better.

For me this is not a horror film, it's only a thriller
3 September 2012
As also mentioned from other reviewers there are similarities between Mr. Brooks and this film. If Mr. Brooks is a Crime/Drama/Mystery film, this film cannot be a horror film, because Mr. Brooks has definitely harder scenes as this one. I don't know if the makers of this movie claim that they filmed a horror movie. If yes then it is a really poor horror film and you will be disappointed as a horror movie fan. But if you watch it as a Crime/Thriller it is watchable and not a waste of time. It depends on what your expectation is. In marketing the product must be declared correctly: if you declare horror in a product, horror must be in the product.

In the music business there is a genre named easy-listening, translated into the movie business I would say this film is a "easy-watching" film: not bad and not really good.
