Worth the watch for just 1 scene
24 February 2023
Long time fan of Simpsons.

Critical eye will notice plethora of inconsistencies throughout the whole series, but that's not the point. Unlike some other viewers, I tend to not take the show too seriously and just focus on the good, fun bits (the whole point of watching this show, right?).

Fun episode, but one short scene had me laughing so hard, I kept revisiting it (it includes Luigi Risotto, and that's all I'm gonna say about it :)) Absolute GEM of peak Simpsons humor.

I completely agree with CinemaSentries's review of this episode, how "Simpsons find hilarity in mocking both sides of an issue when it spoofs both the grueling life of a parent and the grueling lives of those without children who have to put up with the problems caused by other people's kids."

Watch it.

Must see for any black mirror fan

Randomly clicked on this not sure what to expect, and was very positively surprised.

Thought provoking, exciting psychological drama with an interesting plot. Reminds me of one black mirror episode, that might have been an inspiration for this series. Binge watched last 5 episodes, the cliff-hangers and curiosity (of what happens next) were just too much. Can't remember the last time I did that.

Story develops nicely and you gradually really start to understand the depth of the dilemma main characters are facing. Honestly can't wait to see the second season, what started here absolutely deserves further development.

PS: Love the visual easthetics, even the soundtrack really grows on you.

Decent ending of the Saga, worth the watch for any regular fan

Story is Ok with a couple of well played and quite emotional moments, visuals and the score are great and the movie does it's job fairly well. You can feel the writers tried to go nostalgic on the viewer throughout the whole movie - which worked to some degree, but was also cringy at times. There definitely were moments in the movie, that bothered me - but some things in SW movies are just standard I guess (occasional annoying character, main characters predicting things correctly most of the time, lucky coincidents, plots saved at the last moment, incredibly clumsy Stormtroopers, constant Wookie growling sounds,...). Disappointed hardcore fans scoring the movie with 1 ratings will just have to admit to themselves, they have grown up and there is absolutely NO chance, any new movie will ever give them the feelings, original trilogy has given them. And that is mostly due to their unbearable nostalgia, not the difference in quality of the SW movies.

Outstanding movie with a haunting performance and best character development ever seen
3 October 2019
Every once in a while a movie comes, that truly makes an impact. Joaquin's performance and scenography in all it's brilliance. Grotesque, haunting and cringy. Hard to watch at times,... but so mesmerizing, you won't blink an eye watching it. Tragic, but with seriously funny moments. Emotional rollercoaster - sometimes, with multiple emotions popping-up at the same time.

this is far from a typical action-riddled predictable super-hero movie - it's a proper psychological thriller/drama, with the single best character development I have ever seen.

Brilliant psychological movie

It's not easy to find a movie, that makes you think. This one really struck a cord with me. The movie can be cryptic at times, but it kinda has it's distinctive charm precisely because of it. The plot enables the viewer to come to different conclusions and theories, but in essence, the premise is very simple and universal.

Great acting, great cinematography and a very bold production from Guy Ritchie. Multiple viewings are reccomended - seeing it for the first time 5 years ago made an impact on me, but watching it again a couple of times made some realisations stronger.

can't understand the negativity here at all.
16 December 2017
My expectations were modest, and the movie surpassed them. Better then previous, even.

Seen all the SW movies number of times and being a fan of the saga (playing KOTOR and reading countless stories happening in the expanded universe) this movie properly moves forward with the story George invisioned. Dialogue could be a bit better at some places, but overall the movie was really good. Movie also had a couple of small funny moments that were subtle enough to not ruin the seriousness and anticipation of the plot, pleasant suprise there. Original cast - the return of Mark Hamil really adds to the whole thing for me, though he may not be the best actor on the planet. The soundtrack in Star wars movies is always good, but this movie really has a number of good variations on "Leia & Han Solo" theme, it was beautifull.

for all the Star wars fans I say: must see for the stuborn SW fans that whine at everything that is not the original trilogy I say: go watch your original trilogy DVD for the 53th time and stop complaining
