Indian version of Sex and the City.

There is nothing wrong with the movie. The movie never showcased things like feminism and women empowerment as was the broadcast by all who hated the movie. The movie is closer to reality in-fact, no matter how much everyone denies it. Looking other way round just at the sight/plight of reality which is brimming with shallowness and drugs/alcohol abuse in our modern day world (in India too) doesn't change the facts. So the movie is kind off, a peek into world of such girls, whom you may find around yourselves too. Nothing uncommon.

Wanna really enjoy the movie, then the viewer may have to erase the thought that the movie is dealing with feminism and women empowerment. Its just another comedy drama movie, not a society stirrer.

Me Before You (2016)

Dont watch the movie if you have read the novel

It's disappointing to watch this movie rush towards the end. It failed to capture the essence of novel, the energy and the situational seriousness. Louisa's character is made more of a joke, she is shown only as a laughing and smiling idiot, which is not the case in the novel.

The acting is forced and it looks as if someone has made a summarised recap of complete package.

Screenplay is the only part that justifies itself other then that, everything is just rushed to the finishing line. Its not actors, but the director who ruined the movie.

I am not sure if Jojo actually was happy to see this kinda potrayal of her beautiful written/drafted novel.

Udta Punjab (2016)

Its not a movie its reality

The movie is not just any kinda movie with fun and laughter. Its the truth that someone had to bring out eventually. I am glad that Supreme Court intervened and minimized the cuts otherwise a piece of art would have been sacrificed. After seeing the movie you will realize that how sad it is that a state that once had a martyr born in every house has now being replaced by a druggie in every house. Its an old saying that if you want to destroy a country targeting its youth is one of the many initial steps one takes. And it takes only minutes of watch to see who supplies the drugs. That is just one aspect and not just that, the movie then focuses its attention to the basic route and mode of operation of this cartel.This is a must watch movie and one must not just watch it for fun rather one must feel pity for the sorry state of the state that once bubbled with life and energy. As the story revolves around four characters independently at first they are later interwoven though not the best but in an appreciable manner. Shahid and Alia steal the show. There characters are flawless and there screenplay is superb. Diljit the apple of eye of all Punjabi added his best bits and his work is worth commending. I did feel that after the interval the movie was bit too long. The flaw is in editing section and it could have been a lot better. It could have been chipped in some places and it could have saved a few minutes that gave a lethargic feeling. But anyways, overall the movie was worth a watch and a to be recommended one as well. Its not everyday when you see a marvel being created and presented unaltered or unscathed. I am glad Anurag and his team fought till the end to save this piece of art.

Tamasha (2015)

Its an abstract art not all can understand it.

If you are have seen greatness and immortal epics being created on celluloid then go for it and if you can't tolerate abstract art and awesomeness just don't even think of it, even in dreams.

My hopes were not at all high when I planned to watch this movie. Sole reason being - Imtiaz Ali. and for the first 45 minutes i wondered if I could I watch this flick that is so boring for next 1 and half hour. But then all of a sudden the movie develops a tempo that crossed the levels of awesomeness on so many levels. I was just moved and taken awestruck in next 20 minutes and my mouth went on to become wider and wider till I reached the climax. This star pair restored my faith in them and I congratulate your team and your handsome lead actor Ranbeer Kapoor and gorgeous Deepika. The movie is perfect and I was not all in doubt to give it a rating of 8/10 which is really not that easy to get from my IMDb account. Anyways it matters or not, but I send you my bit of thanks and congratulations for this movie. Great Job guys.

Manjhi: The Mountain Man (2015)

A must watch movie

The movie successfully pours down the life and struggle of Dashrath Manjhi. I was already a fan of Nawazuddin Siddiqui's and meeting the expectations he again proved his skills and his talent. Ketan Mehta's work on this movie reminded me of David Lean.The movie is well directed,acted and delivered with a class. The movie will be appreciated by a class of audience but as far as my opinion is concerned, its a must watch for all. And adding further more, I can predict that the IIFA awards for this years movies, will be ruled by this movie for sure. And I am not exaggerating that the movie must be sent to Oscars as well. In short, the movie is a brilliant piece of art and deserves a standing ovation. Pardon my grammar mistakes because I am still zoned.

Rang Rasiya (2008)

Recommended for those who have a love for seeing quality Movies

I had never heard of Raja Ravi Varma, and after seeing the movie I got to know much about the lost literature and piece of history unknown to me. Since I was unaware of any fact regarding the character, hence I can't criticize on any point or misleading detail. And the speeches were really well delivered both by talented actor Randeep and gorgeous Nandana.

I enjoyed the movie and I wish to see the standards of Indian cinema more alleviated and up to the mark. Because in recent years the quality of movies is degrading at a accelerating rate and this movie provided some of the healing aid to the classical cinema lovers.

Rome (2005–2007)

Simply the best

This Series is the best in its class of historical political dramatic genre. Nothing more to say, If you have a good taste and love for something that's worth watch then this is it.

The way the plot is woven around the historical drama is simply spell binding and each and every speech is cleverly written and delivered. The characters are best chosen and suit the character they portray, even in physical parameters as described in history.

Nothing in this series is in excess or in sparse, and each and every frame is worth watching. Simply awesome and literally worth applause.

!! Must, Must Watch as simple as that to say in one short. !!

3 Days to Kill (2014)

The trailer reveals it all. There is nothing much left to add to plot apart from an unbeatable performance of Kevin Costner. He purely justifies his role. Though I felt a lacking in direction and plot story. It could have been better to which I can only say that Directors failed to take full advantage of the talent Kevin possess. The emotional content added is very nicely plotted and the purpose is clearly fulfilled. The movie is free from any nudity apart from a few seconds of pole dance at a club. All the Action movie lover will really enjoy the movie if they don't apply much of the logic or try to reason out the incidents shown in movie. The supporting Antagonist has more screen time then the main Agonist. Though both of then are not all bad-ass. They are very naive, lack cruelty and there is some serious issue with there planning committee which may be even because the main antagonist character referred as Wolf lack plenty of resources. Vivi is shown so sophisticated still cant locate such an easy target like the Wolf even when Kevin Spots him thrice. You can call her as a perfect example of high shop, vapid food. The Romantic part and the Daughter-Father relation along with the comedy timings of Kevin is really justified which comes as a Bonanza with Action thriller to help the viewers over come loopholes in the main plot. The Climax is something that really needed to be taken care of. A very subtle, uninteresting irrelevant and completely out of the track ending is shown. Overall you will enjoy seeing Kevin in a CIA avatar. Few car chases with a beauty beasts like BMW and Peugeot are not very overwhelming but still they manage to cross my average mark. You can watch this movie if you need Entertainment.
