Alléluia (2014)
An achievement in film making.
True cinema aided with immaculate acting. Directly goes to the main plot and maintains the pace through out. Couple of scenes stand out as true achievements in film making, for example, the fire dance scene. Highly recommended as it is an example of good cinema, how it should, used to be and ought to be. Enjoy this hidden gem but classic piece of art.
Chhapaak (2020)
A let down
This film does not live up to the expectations. The story was good but Deepika acting is so not up to the mark. There are flaws with continuity and depiction of real life situations. I would recommend to skip this flick.
The Invitation (2015)
A weak cinematography ruins a potentially good plot
Though the acting and plot seem to be promising the so-called "TENSION" wanes out frequently when ever is just starting to build up. Some scenes are put in for no apparent reason and mess up the flow of the film. The filmmakers have not succeeded to create and maintain doubts in the minds of the viewers over the intent and motive of the main characters, which should have been the main goal of the movie. In the end i had to forward the playing. Therefore, i would just consider it an okayish movie.
