Sanyangeui sigan (2020)
Just wow....
The first half of the movie was great. The second half left me pulling my hair. Three vs one and they are constantly running and splitting up. I would understand if they didn't have any weapons but shotguns and assault rifles. It's one bad decision after another. The main character having been in jail for three years seems to be scared all the time. The hitman seems to be invincible and an incredible tracker. Absolutely no background on the hitman and as to why he has so much authority. Hitman seems to be able to control everything and be everywhere at once. Movie was way too long and kept dragging on.
I Am Vengeance: Retaliation (2020)
Seriously?
Thousands of rounds at close range by snipers, highly trained black ops, etc. And nobody seems to get hit. You have multiple chances to kill people with your gun but then you decide to go hand to hand instead. Knock someone out with a brick, walk away instead of finishing the job so they can continue after you. Grenade launchers that do hardly any damage... the list goes on and on...
Prey (2021)
Horrible with so much inconsistencies.
Mysterious shooter has a vendetta against men or so it seems but why did she kill the female clerk in the store that's in the middle of no where. The 5 friends are pretty unlikeable. How does the Asian guy get shot in the forehead from outside the store when he's lying on the ground surrounded by walls and counters. Shooter must be able to fly up high to shoot downwards. There's a point where the remaining 3 sneak so close to her but decide to distract her in the opposite direction so they can sneak on by. Why not attack and disarm her? Rifle is on her back every time they encounter her. Speaking of rifle, it takes time to aim and reload...
Xtremo (2021)
Lots of action
Lots of action and fun to watch. Only thing that really bugged me was when Maria ran over Finito to save Leo but never finished him off so that he can go after her again later on in the movie. Just seems silly to gab the gun and leave.
Epidemiya (2019)
Rehash of same garbage
Similar cast to Better Than Us (2018). Same main character (father, Kirill Karol), his son vs step son in this (Eldar Kalimulin) and the engineer vs the cannibal in this one (Pavel Vorozhtsov). Similar family dynamics with dis functional parents and kids. None of the adults are likeable and the children are very rude at times. They all are constantly making bad decisions. I don't understand why they can't squeeze more people into their cars when one breaks down. It's a zombie apocalypse for Pete's sake, who cares how many are in a car. There's like 8-10 people and they have 3 vehicles and 4 at times.... just so much more things that are annoying but I'm dragging this on for more than it deserves.
Luchshe, chem lyudi (2018)
Just meh
I enjoyed the first 5 or so episodes. From there it just goes downhill. Teenage son is just an idiot and so annoying. I swear he's always got his backpack in every scene. The dad makes bad decisions after another. The detective keeps breaking protocol and never gets fired. The liquidator leader gets shot in the back then buried who knows how deep by heavy machinery yet manages to dig his way out, hop over the nightclub bar, chase down his betrayer and kill him. Alla and Vic's wife seem like horrible women plotting against their (ex)/husband's. The only people that bring the show up is the little girl Sonya and the robot Arisa. No matter how much she helps her "family", they keep mistreating her. So many stupid decisions made. For example, when Alla knows that Georgy and the detective are looking for Arisa and Arisa shows up at the house, Alla tells her to leave. After episode 5, if the family just cooperated with Vic, it would have been a happy ending right there. Too much unnecessary subplots also.
