I loved it! Epic finale for the fans!

The naysayers just enjoy panning the film. It was a fitting ending. Some surprise cameos added to the mix. It was written for the real fans like me! I left the theater excited about the ending. I dont want to give away any spoilers. Go watch it with an open mind and you will be impressed.

Joker (I) (2019)
5/10
I downright disliked the film.

I'll do my best to explain why I was disappointed in this film without giving away spoilers about the film. My favorite portrayal of the Joker was Heath Ledger's Joker followed by Jack Nicholson's portrayal. Joker is the Clown prince of Crime, why... because he isn't driven by money... he is a psychopath driven by brilliance and a psychotic twisted sence of humor. His ultimate goal is chaos.

I found Phoenix's Joker had only one of these qualities... he became psychotic. He was a comedian without a sense of humor. His portrayal of Arthur was that of a moderately retarded abused individual, not a brilliantly deranged human that Ledger's joker embodied perfectly. That's why the movie completely missed the mark for me.

Fun stuff in Canadian kitchen

I like the original shows and this is true to the original formulas. Fun to see a Canadian spin on things.

Tin Cup (1996)

Perhaps one of the best golf films of all time.
14 July 2010
The film is every amateur golfer dream. The best serious golf movie in my mind. As far as comedy golf films, Happy Gilmore and Caddyshack were fun, but Tin Cup played out the dream of contending at the US Open and letting it all hang out! I personally am not a huge Kevin Costner fan, however having said that a number of his films seem to be on my top ten list of favourite films. Untouchables, Tip Cup, Field of Dreams are all awesome films. I gotta say I do respect him. He chooses his films well.

Personally I like the ending of the film. A man facing his demons and confronting them head on, even with all odds being against him. I loved this film.
