FBI: Most Wanted: Wanted: America (2023)
Wow! I mean WOW!
Has the writer's pool become this shallow? Are there really no true FBI fugitive stories that you could draw from that you actually needed to rip-off plot points from Hitchcock's Psycho (1960) and Reiner's Misery (1990) to round out this episode. This series had a very strong start to me but the seemingly endless cast changes & weak storytelling is starting to wear very thin. Maybe if they took a page from their grandfather, Law & Order, the first 10 seasons, and actually utilized factual accounts from the FBI's fugitive files the show would see a massive upswing in viewership. I expected more from a Wolf production. This one was a new low.
Mayans M.C.: Hymn Among the Ruins (2022)
Marcus Alvarez is BACK!
One of the best, most compelling characters in the Sons of Anarchy mythology was always Marcus Alvarez. Then Mayans M. C. came to be and Marcus Alvarez stepped down and anointed the Three Kings. LAME! From the moment Emilio Rivera walked on screen and said "this is my F#CKING CLUB!" I knew season 4 was going to be the best! The man commands & demands respect! And he's got mine! Marcus Alvarez is back! The only direction we can go from here is up! Thank you Elgin & thank you Emilio!
Texas Chainsaw Massacre (2022)
Gunnar Hansen would be ashamed!
What a complete F@#king joke! I can't even put into words how unbelievably pathetic this film is! It's a complete insult to The Texas Chainsaw Massacre! Period! End of review.
The Walking Dead: World Beyond (2020)
Is this the TWD universe or Dawson's Creek?
WTF!?! Seriously!?! Why is this show even being produced? Is it a Zombie apocalypse show or a teen drama? I'm half expecting to see Joey, Pacey, Jack & Dawson show up as walkers at some point. From the terrible acting choices, what the hell is up with them having Annet Mahendru with that terrible Appalachian accent, to the horrible writing, are we really supposed to believe that these kids can survive let alone sleep in the middle of a giant tire fire the size of a small city? Or that the teenage character of Silas has the superhuman strength to single-handedly hold back a wall of car tires that probably weighs in the neighborhood of 1800 pounds? COME ON! It's just really bad on every level. If this is the kind of product we can expect from Scott Gimple as the CCO of The Walking Dead Universe then the days of TWD are truly numbered.
The Walking Dead: World Beyond: The Last Light (2021)
more like The Walking Dud!
Wow! Just wow! The absolute worst finale I've ever seen! And I watched Dexter live people! I can't believe I actually sat through 20 episodes, 2 years of life wasted on the weakest writing & the worst character development I've ever seen. If this is what the TWD Universe has in store for us in the future, I'm out!

The Invisible Man (2020)
Invisible Man meets Sleeping with the Enemy...
The title of my review says it all. It's not a bad movie, about 30 minutes too long. Good effects, ok story. All in all not a bad way to pass the time on a night with nothing to do.
IMDb Originals: Remembering Chadwick Boseman (2020)
RIP gentle soul!
Walk in the light with your ancestors forever King! You've been taken to soon but you will NEVER be forgotten! Thank you for your guidance and your love for ALL humanity. Wakanda Forever!
The Tax Collector (2020)
Seriously, you're calling this a film?
Really? Seriously? This is being called a film? It's more of a POP channel movie of the week. The story is thin, the acting is weak and the....you know what. I'm wasting my breath. Shia LaBeoif is a shell of the artist/actor he was YEARS ago. The only reason I watched this farce, the rumors that Shia ACTUALLY tattooed his whole chest, for real, for this so called film. I still think the rumors are false. AVOID AT ALL COST.
Motherless Brooklyn (2019)
Why all the tepid reviews?
I don't exactly know why people are giving Motherless Brooklyn such awful reviews. Edward Norton has crafted a perfect Neo-noir masterpiece! From the pacing, lighting and shot-blocking right down to the classic Noir voice-over Norton has made an outstanding film that will hold up for years to come! He has assembled a virtual Supergroup of talent who in each of their roles gives a masterclass in the craft. And for those who say the film is too long, let me just say, I was lost in the film in the first 15 minutes and didn't even realize by the end that the running time was a healthy 2hrs 24min. Motherless Brooklyn was definitely lost in the blowhard reviews of a bunch of hacks who do NOT understand the lost art of Neo-noir. Mark my words, within 10yrs the likes of TCM will be screening this jewel & singing its praises and the blowhards will be ret-conning their words to jump on the bandwagon that they missed! Thank you Edward! Can't wait to see what you give us next.
Apocalypse Now (1979)
Greatest war film of ALL time...
My uncle was on the type of boat that Captain Willard used in this film during the Vietnam Conflict. These navy boys didn't know what they were in for. I've heard the stories, firsthand, this is the most accurate, greatest war film of ALL time. Nuff said!
Gangs of New York (2002)
Daniel Day Lewis is a GOD!!!
Leonardo DiCaprio cements himself as one of the finest dramatic actors of a generation in this film. He is absolutely phenomenal! Martin Scorsese proves he is BY FAR one of the greatest American directors of ALL time! His vision & direction is totally unparalleled! The only reason I gave this film the rating that I did is because Daniel Day Lewis is by far, the greatest actor of ALL TIME! His performance carries this film from beginning to end! Period. The ONLY flaw is Cameron Diaz. Seriously people, can you, do you buy her as an Irish immigrant? Her accent is pathetic! In a silly comedy, I love her! In a spoof action film, I love her. But please! Cameron in NOT a dramatic actor. The reason this film gets my rating, the reason this film gets the critical praise, the reason this film is SO respected is because....Daniel Day Lewis is a GOD!
Goodfellas (1990)
One word, RIPOFF!
I'm not going to go into a detailed diatribe here. I'm going to keep this short and brief. To all of you who think that Goodfellas is the masterpiece/end all be all of mafia films. You're wrong! It's actually a blatant ripoff. A ripoff of a film that was done 6 years earlier. A film that was the final film of one of the greatest directors cinema has ever known, Sergio Leone. That film was Once Upon a Time in America. Nuff said! Mic drop! OUT!
Deadwood (2019)
100% Deadwood! Absolute Perfection!
Deadwood fans have finally received what they have been wanting and waiting 13 years for! The perfect conclusion to one of the greatest television shows of all time! From the writing to the direction and finally the acting this was Deadwood and they didn't miss a beat! Absolute perfection!
Whiskey Cavalier (2019)
I left The Walking Dead for this?
Wow! Seriously? After the Americans you are seriously going to try and cram this contrived and cliched piece of garbage down our throats? For one! The FBI doesn't run ops on foreign soil! That is the CIA's job! And two! If they did they would know if they were both working the same asset! This is just some unbelievable crap! How could Lauren Cohan leave TWD for this? I checked out before the first commercial break! She's not even top billed! Ghostface from Scream 3 is the titular character! Haha! Seriously people! Don't even bother! If you want quality soy intrigue, binge The Americans or Homeland! I have a feeling Maggie will be be returning to TWD sooner than later!
Suicide Squad (2016)
Two words. Harley Quinn!
I gave this film a rating of 6 because Margot Robbie has 6 letters in her first and last names. The reason behind this is because she is the ONLY reason to watch this film! Plain and simple, Harley Quinn steals EVERY scene in this film! Forget about Jared Leto's Joker, he pales in comparison to Ledger's Dark Knight Crown Prince of Crime! This film is ALL Margot! From her hair to her HOT shorts to absolute Joker smile. This film is 100% Harley Quinn!
Jackals (2017)
WOW! Just. Predictable.
The premise is good. Adds onto The Strangers. But unfortunately that's about as far as this film gets. By no means is it slow, before you know it you're already an hour and 15 minutes in and it's almost over. Problem is you've predicted every move and then BAM! It's over. I wouldn't buy this film. I wouldn't rent this film. But, if you've got 90 minutes and it comes on one of your premium cable channels by all means check it out.
The Last Sharknado: It's About Time (2018)
Worst. Film. Ever!
This is hands down the worst piece of garbage I have ever seen! I understand & enjoy "camp" but this was just "crap" I would rather sit through Manos: The Hands of Fate than suffer through 5 minutes of this or ANY Sharknado film!
