Can You Keep a Secret? (2019)
What a FUN Movie
If you want a movie that makes you laugh and remember when you were young (I'm 60), watch this movie.
The leads have some SERIOUS CHEMISTRY and you continually think to yourself, "Are they in a relationship for real?". What fun.
If you want to have a nice night, watch the movie, enjoy the dialogue, notice the sound and chemistry between ALL THE ACTORS. Especially the lead actors.
They bring back memories for those of us who are older and remember the days when we looked to our best friends for advice as we go the dating crap. We age w experience, and that reminds us of the friends that shaped us into the people we are today.
The acting and writing is well done. Who thinks of a dance troupe of "lawyers and a judge" who are artists and extremely talented!!
And then, you'll go bed smiling and thanking the actors and film industry for FINALLY making an enjoyable movie where you go to sleep with a smile.
Warrior (2011)
One of the greatest movies ever made
If you have brothers, relatives, friends who you would sacrifice everything and everyone you have for their safety, this movie will resonate with you.
Nobody's family is perfect, and we all do what we can at the time to help those around us.
What would you do if you had to sacrifice everything and everyone to help those closest to you survive?
It's a question we all have wondered.
This movie will have you cheering and laughing and crying for everyone involved. If you don't then you've unfortunately never had a close enough relationship to wish the best for those who support you.
Each time I watch Warrior, I cry, scream, laugh, cheer.
This is the movie each of us needs to watch to remember the American spirit of risking it all to be successful.
Don't miss it.
Supercool (2021)
Perfect movie for imperfect high schoolers
C'mon. The reviews are ridiculously opposite of how this movie makes you feel, throughout the flick and at the end.
This is a much better, applicable movie, for those of us (vast majority) who had an uncomfortable and difficult middle school/high school years and most people will admit.
If you had awkward moments in school, then you'll love this movie. It helps us all realize that being different is ok. Eventually, people will end up liking us for being US.
Screw the reviews, smile, and enjoy watching this movie.
Watch the movie with an open mind. Think about your emotions while growing up, puberty, and the inability for our parents to understand and explain the cycle of life. My lord, my Dad was so uncomfortable that he handed me a book and said read it, and if you have any questions, come talk to me.
He was the GREATEST MAN I EVER KNEW, and he still didn't understand how to explain the "Birds and the Bees" because he was never taught by his parents.
This movie will give you an opportunity to feel many different emotions, but most importantly, how it was to grow up and feel better about it.
Bet you'll smile and enjoy the end. Good.
The 2nd (2020)
C'mon. Who reviews these flicks?
This is a mindless movie that has bad lighting but a fun script. Even more so given the current antagonist political situation.
Is this far fetched? No, ask Antonio Scalia. Oops, he passed under suspect circumstances.
If you like movies that blow up, and it's a weekend, it's fun. Don't look into the movie too much. But am impressed with Ryan Philippe's hand to hand skills. Choreography is pretty good. Actually a precursor to today's environment.
I'm not sure why people dissed the movie so badly. Maybe they are looking for a peddy Woody Allen concept. SMH.
Watch, turn up your speakers, have popcorn and enjoy. You actually may like the 2 hours.
And it's nice to see good guys win for a change. Am I wrong?
Dark Web: Cicada 3301 (2021)
Seriously
How many movies today are suspenseful , interesting, and hold your attention for the entire length of a movie? This does all of those and is fun to watch.
The Incredible Hulk (2008)
The Best Hulk Film By Far
Not sure why some reviewers are giving this negative responses as this is, by far, the best Hulk representation to date.
Eric Bana was first (movie) but emotionless and Mark Ruffalo has more estrogen than the Scarlet Witch. The worst miscasting of all. Wow. Can you possibly get casting of the Hulk more absurdly wrong?
At the time, Norton was surprised not to have been offered the role for the Avengers movie and critics and fans were (and still are) surprised that he was not.
Annihilation (2018)
Wow. What a disappointment.
I was excited to see this come out on video. Well, never going to get those 2 hours back. A good first half of the movie, but all downhill from there. Nothing believable happens for the rest of the movie, nor is it explainable or plausible. Please explain the rest of the movie to me? Ugh. Could have been fun.
