Not sure what I just watched
26 April 2024
I really have no idea what it was that I just watched. I don't know if it's based off a book and that's why it was so full of holes and missing details.. I don't know. On top of that the acting was horrible. I felt like no one had any chemistry. Especially the main two. I could tell sometimes he had feelings for her, the way he might look at her, but his words and actions said different. I just really wasn't buying the chemistry which then after watching and reading these reviews, I found out they were a couple in real life! Engaged even! I think they've since split though. I've not seen her in much, but I don't remember her looking so "new" at acting. She either over-acted or she couldn't get the words out clearly. Most of her scenes I felt like were just to look at her very expensive chest anyway.. I watched the first one because I saw parts of the trailer for the second one and it looked a little mysterious. Now I don't know if I should even bother with the second..

2nd one is better. All 3 available on Disney+
3 March 2024
My little girl likes this franchise. Shes 7. I personally liked the second one of the franchise the best (story wise). The first one had much much better actors/acting. Lots of familiar actors and voices for the dogs. I didn't care much for Drew Barrymore being the voice of Chloe. Love her in movies but just hearing her voice wasn't much fun for me. The beginning of this movie started out like it was going to be a chick flick for little girls with the fancy, rich Paris Hilton lifestyle. I was disappointed. I'm glad after the first 15 mins or so it became an adventure story. Lots of cute characters you meet along the way and a decent amount of comedy to keep us adults entertained. Give the second one a chance even if you didn't completely love this first one. It's got comedy, mystery and adventure. Like I said, the main characters are different actors and the acting is great, but the story makes up for it. All 3 are available to watch on Disney+ as of now. It's not showing up as an option at the top and I rely on those often. Wish there was a way to edit that as well, so I figured I'd share here.

Not great human acting. Still cute story though.
3 March 2024
Cute story for kids. Personally I was glad Drew wasn't the voice of Chloe this time around. Also glad Delgado was back to be part of the story. Like a lot of sequels that aren't super big, most of the actors are not the same as the first movie. My daughter noticed but wasn't too disappointed. I felt like the actors in this one weren't great at all. The actor who plays Sam started out a little rough but got better as the movie went along. I guess for the kids though it's more about the animal actors which she thinks are pretty awesome. Heck I'm pretty impressed too. Overall though, the movie was pretty cute. Had some cute little one liners in there for everyone. I do enjoy that each movie has a mystery to it. Not many movies for little girls have much of a mystery to solve. The ending made me happy. Not dreading having to watch the 3rd one with her. Haha.

Be patient. Don't give up after 1 season or 2!
4 February 2024
Took me a few tries to really get into the show. Once I sat down and was determined to binge watch it, I was so glad I did. I absolutely fell in love with all the characters. First 2 or 3 seasons are still building everyone's personalities and backgrounds. By season 4 pretty much all the main cast throughout the rest of the series is introduced and that's when the fun begins. Even starting in I want to say 6, some characters will start appearing more often/regularly, and it just get better and better. I laugh out loud at every episode. I'm so glad I didn't give up after the first 2 seasons. If you've done Young Sheldon first and didn't care for Sheldon as a child, don't let it stop you from watching. Adult Sheldon is hilarious.

Rushed
1 November 2023
I absolutely loved the team getting back together again. I loved the new character, Eli. I loved Allison's story line. I just felt like the whole story was rushed. I wanted more out of it. More connection between the characters. More story lines about their relationships and friendships and everyday lives. I felt like it started out great then all of a sudden it was one big fight, then started to tell a story about the characters lives, but got cut off with the credits. Maybe it's because I'm used to seasons and them having 20 episodes to work on fixing a problem while adding in the fun story lines about the characters lives. But that's my favorite part. The bonds between the characters, this "pack", that's what I love watching. So for me I'd have enjoyed it being longer. I'd love if they made another movie. My take on Dylan (Stiles) not being in the movie: At first I was highly upset he wasn't going to be in it because I mean who doesn't love Stiles!? He's the comic relief and his hearts so big. But they filled in the comic relief with other characters we love and also Eli. They had the jeep too, which is an important character. So really, I was ok without him. Especially since he wasn't really in the last 2 seasons of the show. Tyler Posey is Teen Wolf. He does fine on his own, and with his pack by his side. I hate all those who say Stiles carries the show. He doesn't. He was just a great sidekick we all loved. Tyler was the heart and soul of the show. I hope he knows it too. I felt bad with all the comments he had to see about it going to suck without Dylan. Tyler plays such a huge part in the show. Not only acting but producing as well. To me it's his show. So I do hope he isn't discouraged by all the hate and gives us more! And that's a lot coming from me because I'm obsessed with Dylan. (At least the Dylan before 2023) Anyway, don't go into the movie with negativity. Go into it remembering the characters you love and their roles/the part they play in the story. Also enjoyed that they were allowed to be a little more PG-13 with things. Some of the cussing was weird to hear and over the top, tried too hard to use this new privilege, kind of thing. (Hope that makes sense). I enjoyed it overall though. Wish the ratings were higher and people weren't such harsh critics because of stupid little things, because I want more!!!

SNL sketch of the book
15 September 2023
I felt like this was a spoof of the book. It was pretty much on track with the book as far as the main parts of the story, but it felt very much like it was exaggerated and almost making fun of the original story. They left a lot of good parts out, which understandably they can't fit into a movie. It could have been longer though. It was a short movie, so they could have fit more into it. The characters weren't believable and if it wasn't for Dylan and his sexy self, I'd have hated it completely. I did like all the little "After" movie tags thrown in there. From Shepley watching the movie, to a billboard of the movie in Vegas. Even a T-shirt someone wore about Dylan's After character, Trevor. I wish they'd have done this movie more seriously because then I'd look forward to more movies with all the characters based on all the books about the Maddox brothers, but I doubt I'll watch anymore movies made within this franchise. Wish they could redo it, but that's a pipe dream. If you haven't read the book, I can't even imagine what you'd think of the movie. I feel like it would be even worse of a movie honestly. Too fast paced and confusing if you didn't know all the background stories of the characters.

Noah!
27 June 2023
Warning: Spoilers
What's better than a visit/cameo from Noah!? But that was probably the only interesting thing about this episode. I do enjoy Callie and her sex life. That's always exciting to see her out there, letting go of those who wronged her in the past and taking control of and enjoying herself. I do also enjoy when the judge confides in her as well, even if there's always a little threat thrown in there to remind her who's got the power. And then Mariana over there kicking a$$ and taking names. Finally getting somewhere as a woman in the corporate world. Of course real change only came with the help of a man, but hey, a win for Mariana. Overall the episode was kinda boring but having Jesus visit was the best part of the episode. Wish he'd come more but I know he's busy making movies. Now we just need a visit from Brandon!

Horrible yet weirdly addictive.. no ending either.
21 May 2023
If it wasn't for Mr. Jurgans, the show wouldn't have kept me interested. Such a poorly written show. I think it has good intentions but the acting is bad. BAD. The lines are very repetitive. They say something and then repeat it just in a different order. Over and over. Every episode, every season. All the characters. It's annoying. The word sex is said probably over 50 times every episode. I understand it's basically the main topic but it's overdone. There's not much depth to the show. Amy is a miserable, miserable character. I just want to scream at her to shut up and look at how lucky she is and just be happy and complaining allllll the time. Her 2 "best friends" are not believable. They're not even good friends. Well neither is Amy. The little sister Ashley has her moments. She's funny sometimes but most of the time she mainly is just a little brat and I wanna slap her. I wish they'd have given Jack more story lines. He's basically there just to beg Grace for sex. Over, and over, and over... Adrian is hit or miss. You like her for a few episodes and then shes horrible. Over and over.. I think my favorite part of the show might be when Ricky matures and the main Dads character. He makes the episodes. Great sense of humor. Very likable. If it wasn't for the 2 of them I might have given up a while ago. I know for most people they still won't make it very far. I really don't even know how to explain this show or review it honestly. I'm shocked it lasted 7 seasons. I guess preteen fans kept it running. Not shocked to see that really no one has much work after this show.. except Shaliene really.. and Grace who's in talentless hallmark movies now. (Not all hallmark actors are talentless though, I do adore a fair amount of them) I just felt like there could have been so much more potential with this show had maybe different people been behind the scenes and people worked with the actors a little more to make them better. Sorry this was a horribly written review. Just as horrible as the show. Haha but really, if you're like 13, you'll probably like the show.. until the very end.. can you even call it an end!?

Should of followed the book
20 July 2022
This movie could have been amazing.. had they followed the book. It was horribly written. I'm the book Lina wasn't super popular but she wasn't this insanely, over the too, awkward "nerd". The acting is too much. By everyone. I can't tell if they're trying to make it funny or what but it doesn't work. I'm shocked Jenna Evans Welch (the author of the book) was even a little bit ok with this! I'm 36 and thought the book was absolutely amazing. This was just BAD! I wish Netflix had ratings instead of thumbs up and thumbs down. One of the first movies of this type, no matter how cheesy, that I had to give a thumbs down..

Get a new host.
4 May 2022
I like the humor.. it's just not in the show.. sorry. Get a new host who actually has some empathy to the victims and victims families and friends. I'd give the show more stars if it was someone different or if she took it more seriously. Which I know she's a comedian, so that's what she's supposed to do, but I just don't enjoy it on this show. I enjoyed Hilarie on her birthday episodes.

Gossip Girl (2021–2023)

Honestly am torn
16 October 2021
Warning: Spoilers
First off, I cannot stand the actor who plays Gossip Girl. She bugs me, she doesn't fit the part and she's wayy too young in my opinion. I feel like parts of the story move so quickly and also they're just repeating over and over as well. Once you get past the first few episodes, the story line just kinda doesn't go anywhere. Obie and Zoya had such a good relationship and then all of a sudden she's exactly who she hates and who he broke up with (the type of person). It just happened too quick to be believable. I think Max is my favorite story line. He's the only one who's got depth and is growing and going somewhere. Anyway, I honestly can't decide yet. Give me more episodes and maybe it will go somewhere..

Best in a while
10 October 2021
Absolutely the best episode I've seen in years! The only ones who are hating on this episode are the ones that don't like the family and don't even give them a chance. I loved it. I'm a 35 year old mom of 3, the opposite of superficial like them, but I really enjoyed her show. Great job Kim!

Slow start, strong finish!
21 May 2021
First 3 seasons had to of had different writers. It was either season 3 or 4 that just completely changed things for me. The first few seasons are just ok. Sweet with some funny lines, but by season 3 or 4 (which ever one where Molly decides to quit her job) is when her character absolutely flourished! It was almost like a completely different person. I laughed so much from then on. Glad I didn't give up before the change. Good cast too. Once everyone establishes reoccurring roles, you fall in love with them all.

Bad 3rd season. Went from 9 stars to 6.
13 May 2021
I really enjoyed this show.. for the first 2 seasons. This last season is just too much. I love the setting of a huge public hospital, which you don't see often. Most of the characters were easy to like. The stories were fun. All that's gone this season. I like the return of a doctor, that's it. Thinking of giving up. Did some of the writers change? I'm not sure what happened.

Horrible acting.
7 January 2021
I'm a hallmark movie fanatic. I love 96% of all the movies, but this one I couldn't even get past about the first 25 mins. The lead and her friend were just horrible. Beyond cheesy and exaggerated. Hopefully this was her last.. that I see at least.
