Slunce, seno, erotika (1991)
Post communist release
You can clearly feel the chains of communist restrictions released, and this movie goes bananas.
Worthy sequel of previous comedies brings same old and new characters.
You need to be native speaker to properly enjoy it, but if you are born in communist era, you will appreciate the little jabs, this kovie takes.
There is a good bit of full frontal nudity, both male and female, so be ready for that.
Helena Ruzickova is an absolute star of this movie, just like she was in the prequels.
This movie is 30 years old, but it is still rocking.
I have seen it several times, and I know I will see it more.
McGregor Forever (2023)
refresh on Notorious
You might think that if you saw the movie, and watched the fights, you know it all. Yet, here we get new insights into the mind a emotional state of Conor. If you are a fan, you will love this, if you are a hater, you will still watch this.
The injury impact on a lifestyle of this warrior is really touching. He can take 10 defeats before 1 injury, because injury stops him from doing what he is obsessed about, while defeats only make him obsess more.
He isn't the fist king of controversy, not the worse thing than Elvis Presley...
Inspirational man, regardless of all the drama. That will be forgotten much sooner than the legend of this Gladiator.
The Greatest Lie Ever Sold: George Floyd and the Rise of BLM (2022)
unbiased opinion
For the record, I am a white male living in Europe, very disconnected from the reality of American life, so I can merely comment on this from my own hearth, take it as you want.
From the social media, I would get a lot of footage of various acts of police brutality in America, but i always knew that would be very rare incidents that get viral. Not a fan of police, emotionally, I would always find myself feeling sympathy to the victims.
Couldn't feel the same about this one though. It didn't pop up on my feed, It was being showed down my throat continuously. What a massive marketing propaganda that was/is...
I expected right wing bias, i got objective commentary. Not a fan of Candace, but this felt like a proper journalism. Not much of a stuff these days feel like it.
WORTH a watch, make your own mind after
note: some people are saying nothing new is revealed here, well, they are BLM experts apparently, if you are not (as I am not) educate yourself on the matter from the other side. What harm is in that?
