Painful end
3 November 2021
Joaquin Phoenix plays his role exquisitely, superb acting there, and I understand that it's supposed to be a prequel of some sorts to the dark knight, but the end was just painful, anti-climactic.

It leaves you hungry for more, for anything extra that comes after all this build-up in the character.

Emotional journey
1 October 2021
This was a terrific work. We see Alex and maddy just trying to soldier on and survive in a toxic environment, while trying to keep faith and never lose hope.

Brought tears to my eyes, well done.

Boring, Predictable
28 November 2020
Warning: Spoilers
I mean, it's a good action film to pass the time or to play as background noise while you sit there on your phone, but to go and intentionally choose to watch it ? Nah it's too boring for that. I think the mission impossible films lost their identity over the years and recently became just like any other action film: predictable and boring.

Also, Henry Cavill as the antagonist was not a good choice in my opinion. He looked out of place in the film, as if his casting was sheer coincidence.
