No Way Up (2024)

Offensive to humans and sharks

It started off interesting & possibly decent enough with Colm Meaney, then he quickly dies. The movie is full of horrible acting and unlikable characters. The sharks are somehow small enough to fit in a small plane and eat everyone in Megalodon type fashion. Everything was filmed in an extremely serious manner but was a complete joke. Maybe if there was some background on how these sharks became abnormal and so hungry for human flesh, even sy-fy movies can at least accomplish that. This is the 1st movie I ever had to fast-forward, and I watch up to 12 movies a week. This mad the movie I. S. S. Which I watched right before this look like a masterpiece. This movie should've never been made. Waste of time & a $5.99 rental.

Out of Death (2021)

As bad as the reviews say

Watching this was like a chore, Bruce Willis does not even try anymore. I can tell he filmed this in one day, instead of two and left early. Bad acting, directing, musical score, editing, etc. There is nothing redeeming about this, I give 2 stars because I rate on everything considered including cinematography. Not a 1 or 10 star basis, which many people do. Many hate on Nicolas Cage, but at least he manages to do a couple of good/decent movies each year or so and puts in effort. Meanwhile, Bruce Willis gets $1million a day and has only dumpster fire paycheck movies he sleep-walks through the past many years. He needs to retire and stop with these Redbox movies.

Send It! (2021)

Is pretty unwatchable unless you're a teenager

Review by kahalilsekkat is pretty accurate. Very fictional and comical teenage movie that is tough to watch as an action/sport film, can't help but to laugh & shake my head. You'd think 2Chainz executive produced and funded it since they only mention him 50+ times within the first 40mins. Michael Jai White must have been in this just for a paycheck, he can do much better. Denise Richards.. I wasn't too surprised about seeing her in this.

I saw this in theaters tonight, i like true stories and this was quite informative as i knew nothing about the story it is based on. Top notch acting, quite tense at parts. I didn't enjoy the 2nd half as much as the 1st, some very slow parts then quickly speeds up to it's conclusion. I've seen this director's 1st movie, and this is a huge step up from 'Newlyweeds'. It was closer to Spike Lee quality. I recommend it, but seeing it once was plenty for me.

2020 did not need a sad and depressing movie pretending to be a comedy, nevermind being released in theaters. This was like a sad version of Napoleon Dynamite trying to be quirky, but was not & was not a comedy at all. The good reviews must be from from Brad Pitt fans seeing he produced it. There was no chemistry between the characters whatsoever, just a bizarre and strange movie. I laughed at parts for just how ridiculous it was. A 6.4 rating? For once Redbox reviews were more accurate, & @ $1.80 i overpayed. 3 generous stars for the unintentional laughter & couple amusing scenes provided.

It is not appropriate for children, and i don't see how teens or adults would enjoy this. It was depressing, disjointed and nonsensical. Random themes of Peter Pan and Alice in Wonderland mashed together in an unenjoyable and dull manner. Has a child being smacked and drinking her mother's booze. This must have been the movie where afterwards Angelina Jolie said she will start choosing her roles more wisely. Michael Caine has a wasted appearance. A 5.9 rating? Should be closer to 2.9. Struggled to get through this one.

Movies like this get high ratings, nothing was funny about it. This was a depressing stupid movie. How was school even relatable to this crap? Not at all, it's just a terrible movie. Look at the careers of the main stars. Smh shame on you with poor taste. Except that Ellen Page is now Elliot Page. Haha

That is what this awful toxic movie should be called. The male lead character was just complete trash. If a guy acted like that in real life he'd be kicked in the nuts, beat up, thrown in jail, etc. It makes Broken Hearts Gallery look like an Oscar winner in comparison...

All i have to say it was semi-entertaining and decent. And for once the leading woman isn't a supermodel. Much better than that recent terrible toxic depressing movie After we Collided or whatever it's called. That was just terrible, this is semi-entertaining at least.

Why Lionsgate & Grindhouse choose to distribute some truly terrible movies doesn't make much sense. I rarely give a 1/10 rating but this was so difficult to watch, it was 93 minutes too long. Every absolute thing about this movie was terrible, it was like a version of House on Haunted Hill but 100 times worse. Afterwards i watched the new Tremors movie which was an Academy Award winner compared to this nonsense.

For three day now I've been trying to finish this movie, that's the 1st main problem. The movie had no need to be about 3 hours long, it could have accomplished itself in 1hr45min. I've seen films from this director before but never one i loved or could recommend. He gets an A+ when it comes to cinemetagraphy & camera angles... but there are other aspects to to making a good film & I give this effort a C-, have some better writing and editing and maybe one day i can give movie of yours at least an A-

This movie did not age well, I remember it being silly and not being a fan when it came out when i was 13. It's on tv today and still not a fan, not funny in the least bit. All of these 9 & 10 ratings are unrealistic. Gore Verbinski has made some good movies, this is not one of them. It gets a generous 5/10 considering when it came out

I'm not sure what Dolph is thinking being in such a terrible movie. It's awful in every way possible, and I thought his last movie I've seen The Tracker was terrible but this was even worse. I could hardly get through this movie but the absurdity of the acting, writing, special fx made me laugh. Dolph should've just retired after Aquaman, seems he's in competition with Steven Seagal of who can make the most bad movies...
