Kung Fu Panda: The Dragon Knight (2022)
Not a great Kung Fu Panda, would be decent Redwall
The premise is interesting, even if the show itself is somewhat flawed. Po isn't much of a Kung fu master in this. The animation isn't as good as the movies, but that's to be expected with a TV show. It's interesting seeing creatures other than pigs, rabbits, and geese like in the movies. The voice acting is solid. The characters are well developed, and interesting. The story moves somewhat slowly and is somewhat predictable. As a Kung Fu Panda series, it's not amazing. Po and his dad are great, but I think it would do better if it were not part of the Kung Fu Panda franchise. I would love it if it were a Redwall series, though. It has the right feel, and even the animation would be okay. It's not bad, it's just not as high quality as the DreamWorks movies.
Larva Island (2018)
Seems like slapstick fun, but there are some really gross scenes
I let my son watch a few episodes of this. At first, it seemed like your usual slapstick kid show. Not really my favorite show, but my kid enjoyed it so it was fun for him to watch occasionally.
One episode shows one character drinking something, and then the other one drinking from his butt. It has been a while since we watched the episode, so I don't remember the specifics. I think it was supposed to be diarrhea? Whatever it was, it was gross. That seems like content that should have a warning before the episode, at the very least.
That was the last time I let my kid watch it. This isn't for children.
Octonauts: Above & Beyond (2021)
Still good, just not as good.
Helping land creatures is a fun change. My kids love the land gups. They should have stuck with the creature report song at the end. The new song is fine, but the original song was such an integral part of the show and much catchier. The episodes feel very Dashi-centric too.

Idiot plots and whining, but kids love it because talking vehicles
This show is made to sell toys. The plots rely on the characters being idiots for them to work. A lot of the characters spend a lot of time whining or acting really immature.
Basic plots are like this: someone whines about having to do something, and then everyone helps fix the problem.
Someone intentionally ignores their friends, gets stuck in a jam, and everyone helps fix the problem.
Someone feels sad, runs away, and everyone cheers them up.
It seems like they're attempting to teach the importance of friendship and emotional health, but it's just too shallow and caricatured too work.
Transformers: War for Cybertron (2020)
Visually great, but slow.
This show is great visually. I was so excited to watch this based just on the animation style. But, they went with different voice actors, and it seems like they also slowed their talking down. The actors did a decent job, it just sounds weird.
It also doesn't have a lot of energy. I was interested in the story, but the scenes all felt really slow. Probably partially because of the slow talking.
