Filmmaker influences matter.
25 September 2023
I don't want to say this is the best thing ever bit I appreciate that the filmmakers clearly cared about the style of the film. From the company logo to the opening credits. You can tell there was a love of 60's and 70's cinema. It being a British production I imaginge Hammer films have an influence. I hope these guys will make more things to hone their craft. For my money just knowing there is an influence that is good and they were trying goes a long way for a clearly low budget picture. I say next time wet down the trenches and have some gore in there with people crying for their mothers like in Saving Private Ryan then you will have me at yellow. The ending also showed they cared about the story. Thank you guys for a pleasant surprise in a sea of horrendous cash grabs on Tube and keep making films. From a fellow filmmaker at the same level.

Dylan Hobbs nails it.

This is your average western film. Sort of similar to High Plains Drifter. But Dylan Hobbs in the main role elevates it to above an average B grade film. He is very stoic and intimidating. Really enjoyed watching him deal with the other characters. The acting is good from everyone. Obviously the camera work and action scenes could be worked on but the cast nails it.

Most Street Film Ever

I thought Training Day was hard. Move over Heat, there's a new crime epic in town. Don't cross these girls. They'll cut you. I'm a white farmer from Pennsylvania but I'm pretty sure this is how it goes down. Kudos to the cast and crew. Keep it real.
