Romance to the Rescue (2022)
The Cheese Factor Is High With This One
Four stars for Marcus Rosner and "Sam"...they're the only good parts of the movie. Oh my goodness Andrea Brooks acts like she had 7 cans of Monster energy drink before each scene. Someone commented about Hallmark bringing in the "alphabet" into their movies and I couldn't roll my eyes harder. They've had the "alphabet" in their movies for a bit now, get over it. By the by, I'm not necessarily big on watching lovey dovey scenes like that, but the character they have here is literally a side character, it's not like he's jamming his tongue down another dude's throat so that commenter needs to chill out (and get over it among other things haha). If the cast chilled out on their overacting and trying too hard, it would've been slightly better and I would've given one more star hah.
The Wedding Fix (2022)
Ugh
I usually like cheesy Hallmark movies, but not this one. Hold onto your pantaloons, this isn't a nice review. It's like they were reading lines from a script, it really didn't flow, it was very robotic. Who would actually "pull the camper around" after being asked how many at fits (15-16), and then there are only 7 people where they secretly got married? I get these movies aren't usually realistic, but dude had that camper set up so nicely, he couldn't just "pull it around"🙄 And who would actually be happy waiting around forever at a venue only to find out the couple had already gotten married?! The maid of honour's "speech" was absolutely lame, and the way she pushed her shoulders up when she kissed him?! I got third-hand embarrassment watching this...so cringe! This one was very drawn out, extremely cheesy on the cheesy rating scale, and definitely vomit inducing...
Eat, Play, Love (2017)
Meh
Unlike what one reviewer said, it does not display a rampant hatred for cats?! Clearly that person is ridiculous as there's literally *nothing* bad said about cats 🙄 In any case, the Lee Majors/Lindsay Wagner thing is cute but otherwise it's cheesier than normal Hallmark moves. Like, cheesier as in if there weren't cute dogs or the fun side story, I would've turned it off. I did, however, find the 2 spots where you could see the actual name of the rescue it was filmed at amusing to see 😊
