My personal favourite from the Yellowstone universe
Hard to explain how much I absolutely loved this show.
Sure, Elsa comes across slightly annoying at bits but...she still delivers a pretty solid performance.
The photography of the show itself it's nothing short of magnificent, extremely well directed, hooks you from the get go and holds no punches when it comes to display how harsh everything about a journey west through the Great Plains toward the last bastion of untamed America actually was.
The acting was pretty close to perfection, also the pacing and the fact that the plot also kinda feels like a documentary rather than fiction speaks volumes about how well done this show is.
Hanna (2019)
Amazing first season, below average second one...ok third one
The second season and it's woke/coming of age message pretty much ruined what it could have been an epic tv show for the ages, the third one is not as bad as the second but definitely not as good as the first.
Leaving a meh flavour after the end.
Good acting in general.
Santa Inc. (2021)
Makes the last Jedi look like citizen Kane
One of the most wretchedly terrible unapologetically awful endeavours since Cats (the movie)
Starring 2 preachy, self righteous, activist so called "comedians" that have been so chronically unfunny for their entire careers I honestly struggle to understand how or why they ever made it to Hollywood in the first place.
In essence this show is epitomises perfectly everything that's wrong with modern Hollywood.
Just avoid this toxic cocktail of toilet humor and "the message" and watch some paint dry.
You'll thank me later.
Ojing-eo geim (2021)
A real stinker
Boring, predictable, a bad copy of hunger games, also a stinker, and Saw...kinda liked the first one... I think.
The acting is appalling, especially Gi-hun or whatever his name is whose only quality is to overcome his own stupidity when one already thinks that's impossible ... I would never tire of hammering his face.
It's easily in the top 5 of the worst series I've ever seen. Lost 9 hours of my life to this rubbish, just to understand why people like it...even failed at that
I prefer to sit in in a park and watch the grass grow ... much more satisfying and entertaining.
Idiocracy (2006)
A cautionary tale
I'm not saying it's the best movie EVER, but it's definitely in the top 1.
Jupiter's Legacy (2021)
Utterly appalling
Sheer rubbish, dreadful acting, laughable production values...FX, make up, direction, production, music...script.
No redeeming qualities whatsoever, seriously one of the worst things I've had to endure in a long time.
I cannot get my head around the knowledge this was shown to producers and got the green light.
A bad joke really.
Invincible (2021)
Pretty close to perfect if you ask me
Wow...that was a hell of a ride, never a dull moment, intense, fast-paced action...just, FUN !!!
I had no expectations since I didn't know the comics...something I fully intend to correct ASAP.
I don't mean to spoil anything so I just have to recommend the viewing of the show...NOW!!!
La belva (2020)
The worst thing to ever come out of Italy since Mussolini
Think italian taken with a hint of italian Rambo...but a hell of a lot worse than that...once it gets started, the action doesn't relent, and so there isn't enough of a pause to ponder how much this movie borrows from the action movies of the last quarter century.
Not that it matters anyway it's just blatantly obvious...the acting is HORRID, the plot...omg, my nephew Timmy is 4 year old with down syndrome, he would have done a far better job.
Just AVOID like plague and do something more productive with your time, groom your cat, watch paint dry, anything.
Climax (2018)
Pretentious and boring
Absolutely ridiculous piece of garbage, what a waste of time, seriously, obviously nobody EVER even heard of LSD in this cast...no script, nobody's an actor???
It shows.
I could have stared at a dry wall for 1 hour and it would have been better off with my time.
Penalty (2019)
Strong contender for worst movie EVER made
Was this a joke, that Lukram kid has any other facial expression, the script for real, what am I missing here???
Beyond terrible, beyond BORING, the acting is atrocious, seriously no redeeming qualities whatsoever about this film.
Not even a faint notion of the game neither.
Just terrible.
Titans (2018)
What happened to this show?
The first season was pretty decent, some episodes were even good.
I was kinda excited, ever so slightly, about season two...that didn't last very long though.
New season is absolutely terrible, cheesy, incredibly badly written, the directing even worse...and please don't get me started on the horrid acting.
How did they manage to screw it up so bad is beyond me.
Ugh... I'm done with this.
Upgrade (2018)
What just happened !!!
Possibly the best movie I've watched in 2018, I just feel dizzy...jut got off this AMAZING rollercoaster of a movie and I'll make sure this flick gets viewed as many people as possible.
I don't even care it's low-budget, or if it went under the radar...It's a masterpiece !!!
I Believe in Miracles (2015)
The greatest football film ever made? I think so
Brian Clough...the man, the legend, there aren't enough documentaries or films about the tandem he and Peter Taylor formed...with the absolutely insane achievements they conquered. Absolutely impossible these days...for a team to get promoted, and then win the 1st division league, 2 league cups and 2 UCL is just the stuff dreams are made of, utterly impossible nowadays, exception made for Leicester...maybe, season ain't over yet. So the film tells the story from the main protagonists perspective, holding nothing back in a humorous tone, a journey back in time to the days of The Beautiful Game, where you really didn't need to work so much on tactics, where you could have a drink before the match, play a game after Sunday roast...the good days. An absolute feel good, whether you love football or not.
