A Clockwork Orange (1971)
Disappointing would be a Horrible Understatement....
A Clockwork Orange is perhaps the most pointless film in the cinema. Just a peep show for teen movie buffs and perverts obsessed with violence and sex. The plot: a teen named Alex is caught by the police, and sent to prison. He becomes the victim of an experiment that can "cure" him, and then he is released. And then you can imagine the horrible things that Alex does. For example, he and his "droog" of friends break into a writer's house, beat him up, and then rape his wife. Who wants to see that happen? No one. So why bother making it? So Mr. Stanley Kubrick would have more excuses to make films with violence and sex so the audience would get used to it. Malcolm McDowell's narration is useless, and perhaps it would have been better without it. Overall, stay away from this repulsive mess.
0/5 stars.
Kill Bill: Vol. 1 (2003)
One of the Biggest Disappoints
This style in this film could have been good, but overall it is a bloody mess without the help of Vol. 2. Too much blood and gore throughout the action scenes. The script isn't even nearly as good as True Romance's. The story is basically about a bride who is assaulted on her wedding day, and wakes up three years later and seeks revenge on everybody. Tarantino is not an action or martial arts director, he usually does well in crime/thriller films (Reservoir Dogs). Uma Thurman is good, but the rest just stand out a bit. It would have been better if actors like Harvey Keitel, Steve Buscemi or Tim Roth has at least a cameo. Tarantino has done better and I hope he will do better in the future. 2.5/5 stars.
Natural Born Killers (1994)
Born to Kill.
Wow, I have never felt so entertained during a movie before. Oliver Stone's Natural Born Killers is a masterpiece. Truly underrated and controversial. Woody Harrelson and Juliette Lewis play to love birds who go across America on a killing spree, and getting some of the biggest attention for the Media. Oliver Stone gives one of his best direction ever with a disowned story by Quentin Tarantino. I can't see why he would disown this movie. Harrelson and Lewis play the best on-screen duo since Bonnie and Clyde. Sure the movie is violent but it is all a satire on the media's love for killers. It wasn't supposed to be taken seriously. Many people looked at it the wrong way and misunderstood it. In my opinion it is one of the best movies from the 1990's. 5/5 stars.
Reservoir Dogs (1992)
The Usual Suspects.
Tarantino's debut film is one of his better works. Harvey Keitel and Tim Roth are an awesome duo in the film as their friendship means a lot. My favorite character is the bad@** Mr. Blonde, who is also known as Vincent Vega from Pulp Fiction's brother. The story is about a group of men who rob a jewelery store, and are split up because someone in the group told the police. Not at all excessively violent or sloppy. My only complaint being the character background scene from Mr. Orange. Other than that, the film shines. Quentin gives a good direction and something of a funny performance, along with Eddie Bunker. Pulp Fiction was just too fancy of a movie for me too watch, and I like that Tarantino made this an independent film. I recommend people to see this movie. 4.5/5 stars.

After four elementary school boys, Stan, Cartman, Kyle, and Kenny see a movie about two Canadian comedians named Terrence and Phillip who use nothing but profanity to be funny, the kids suddenly get a habit into cursing. The boys' moms find out that Kenny died from attempting one of their stunts(go figure), and Kyle's mother goes on strike about having Terrence and Phillip arrested. They are arrested, and the boys think that it is their fault. They decide to break him free, and if Terrence and Phillip die, then Satan and Saddam Hussein will rise from Hell and take over the world.
A pretty funny movie, but most of it is ruined by some of the stupid jokes. The Terrence and Phillip song got really stupid and annoying, the racism would probably be offensive to some people. But hey, it's a movie. And a satire, I might add. I wasn't a big fan of the show, I watched it occasionally, but this was a little better.
I think that it is amazing at how Parker and Stone do the voices of the many, many, characters. However, one of the major cons, is the use of profanity. When they use it for no purpose, it wasn't funny. But, it was when they used it for a consequence. For example, when Cartman has the "V-Chip" in his head then swears and gets shocked. That was hilarious.
Overall, this movie is worth a look, but if you do not like the TV Show, then don't see it.

Die Hard 2 (1990)
Worthy sequel that lives up to the first one
**same review but by a different username and some edits**
Good sequel that takes place one or two years after the original, with Officer John McClane waiting for his wife at Dulles Airport in Washington DC. But before her plane lands, terrorists have seized the airports landing lights, making the planes have to fly in circles around the runways. The terrorists request a runway so that drug lord Ramon Esperanza can land and they can escape. But before that happens, McClane decides to chip in with his two cents and help eliminate terrorists again, and tries to find a way to get his wife's plane to land.
Good sequel, but not nearly as good as the first. I wasn't really expecting that either. I expected a fun action sequel that wouldn't disappoint, and that was exactly what I got. Christmas is coming soon this year, so I will be sure to watch all three of the Die Hard films over the Holiday break. Overall, 'Die Hard 2' is a worthy movie that you should check out. It shouldn't disappoint, not if you loved the first like I did.
