Wilbur's Conspiracy Theories: Project Stargate (2020)
Rubbish
You've spent many hours of work on producing THIS?!?! What a complete waste of your time, and that's coming from a guy who loves conspiracy theories and researches them on a weekly basis with countless documentaries being watched also. I am your target audience, yet you completely failed to make it of any interest to me.
What a complete disaster. The amount of stock photography used is endless and many of them weren't all that relevant to the subject at all. Plus the fact you've used an animated character as the host of the show just makes me think the whole programme was satire and was increased purely to try 'mock' the conspiracy theorists.
It was not interesting or engaging at all. It was annoying and boring which ultimately made me start watching something else.
ETs Among Us 5: Binary Code - Secret Messages from the Cosmos (with Linda Moulton Howe) (2020)
So laughable
Even though it was only 20 minutes long, I wished I never watched it. I applaud the uniqueness of the story that was given, but I call it complete disinformation; which is what pretty much all alien/ufo documentaries are. It's sad that so many people are duped into believing such nonsense.
I suspect Linda Moulton was paid by a branch within the U. S. government to produce this documentary. She's done quite a few of these. Says the budget was $100,000. Um, okay. Like I believe that. I could have produced this documentary for a couple of hundred dollars. All you need is a camera and a moron to be filmed and perhaps a few slideshow images and some basic editing.
The truth is, the U. S. government wants us to believe in ET's. Why? Because they want us to believe that Space is real. Space is a lie.
Power Rangers: Dino Fury (2021)
Awful.
Obviously the original Power Rangers will always be the best. Sadly the makers of the show love to create endless remakes every few years; each one being just as bad as each other, even when they're attempting to do 'something new'. But what the producers don't seem to realise is that we want the original soundtrack to stay. The soundtrack in Power Rangers: Cosmic Fury / Dino Fury; sucks. It is very boring indeed.
And what's with the other Power Ranger looking guys in uniform? Two blue rangers? I'm utterly confused. What a terrible idea. In all honesty, the only thing I like about this remake is the fact they brought back David Yost, one of the original Power Rangers. Everything is just sucks. It's sad as I grew up with this franchise only to find out 30 years later that it sucks more than one of those sucky things. A vacuum cleaner; I believe.
Awful. But those producers don't give a hoot and will not take any of our constructive criticism.
Who Killed Jill Dando? (2023)
Slow but good
I love watching documentaries, especially those that focus their story on the murders of John F. Kennedy and Princess Diana. I also happened to like the Who Killed Jill Dando? Documentary; produced by Netflix, which had immediately caught my eye when loading up the streaming channel. But how good was it?
It was professionally made and filmed on a decent budget; so no issues there. I'm grateful that in the first episode they focused on how much Jill Dando was loved and missed, but I feel as though they had focused too much on on that and therefore; as other critics have mentioned, became longwinded.
I applaud the producers for ensuring the stories about all suspects were covered in this documentary and for including QC Michael Mansfield. But like others have said, there was no need to have the documentary go on for so long as most of the information was repetitive; and at times, a little boring. It is definitely worth a watch though as I learned quite a lot more than I previously did.
Interceptor (2022)
What an absolute flop of a movie
This is yet another one of those government funded movies that has clearly been a waste of taxpayers money. The $15,000,000 would have been better spent on eliminating hunger and extreme poverty throughout Australia; yet they decide to spend it on this crap?
The acting was; at times, bad. The action though was decent but failed to keep me interested. There's nothing new here at all as it has been done before. I strongly urge the Australian government to stay away from funding propaganda movies (and Netflix itself); it will only make you appear worse... 10x worse.
Nothing magical. Vaguely entertaining throughout.
Bore score: 10/10.
Prank Encounters (2019)
Rather good and fun to watch
So far I've only watched two episodes and while I was at first rather skeptical about the show being decent, I have now come to the conclusion that the show can be brilliant at times. But of course; it's not perfect but then again, nothing is.
Gaten is perfect for this show so I'm really happy that he is taking part in it, but I feel as though quite a few of the 'actors' who are meant to be in on the pranks, are a bit on the amateur side when it comes to acting. The first episode was good and different to any of the pranks that I've seen before (and I've seen many), but the actors just didn't seem to act normal and in a way. It's important for them to not appear too strangely otherwise the people who are being pranked, will of course suspect something is going on.
Anyway, while the first episode wasn't great on the acting side, the story was really good and it did have me laughing out loud at one point! Yes, I was shocked.... and I believe this show is worth watching since the second episode was more believable (with an improvement on acting).
So it's a thumbs up from me. Looking forward to seeing plenty more episodes! I just hope Netflix doesn't decide to on having this show being a short series... which seems t happen far too often.
Supergirl: Will the Real Miss Tessmacher Please Stand Up? (2019)
Completely unrealistic
The title says it all... it's as unrealistic as it can get. How did Supergirl get out and back in the plane without producing an air hole? You can't start a plane like you can with a car... *facepalm*. So stupid. Because of this, I no longer watch any of the Supergirl series. It's very laughable... in a bad way.
Life on the Line (2015)
Something smells so bad (and it's not me!)
If you don't want to waste your life away by watching an awful movie that sucks in so many ways, with poor acting and a very weak plot then DO NOT watch this movie... even if you do like John Travolta.
Nothing in the movie is at all funny nor is it remotely interesting. Even the biggest scene with the storm was only about 15 minutes long.
IT'S POOP I TELL YA, IT'S POOP!
Prison Break (2005)
Prison Break - The Final Season
I wanted to write a review for Prison Break but thought I'd hold off until I've finished watching all nine episodes; and now that I have I can now say.... that I am somewhat disappointed.
I'm probably one of Prison Break's biggest fans; I've never missed an episode and have thoroughly enjoyed all seasons - up until now at least and pretty sure it was Paul Scheuring's fault as he's the creator of this final series. What ever happened to the original creators / writers? In all honesty I think this series needs to be done again from scratch. It was only just "satisfactory"; actually I never actually enjoyed any of the episodes until the last two. It felt as though it was very rushed - the very final episode was for sure. You'll only see the team being "happy" right at the end for literally a couple of minutes.
I think I've given up on the whole movie industry; they always have to ruin a perfectly good show.
I BLAME Paul Scheuring.
Captain America: The First Avenger (2011)
A must-see movie with plenty of action!
I honestly don't understand why people are giving this movie a bad score. This movie is brilliant, the story is unique, the characters are perfect, and the stunts couldn't of been better. Captain America: The First Avenger is a seriously well made movie which deserves a lot of credit.
The actor who plays Captain America (Chris Evans), is perfect for the role. Nobody else could of done a better job, and the 1940's theme was perfect in every way that actually seemed genuine. Captain America's enemy, Red Skull (supposed to be Hitler), was very well played indeed. Very scary looking and the acting was brilliant.
This is certainly one of the best movies that I have ever seen and I recommend to all. If you love action packed movies with well known actors, and a superhero comic, you'll love this.
