Convicting a Murderer (2023)
This changes everything.
Convicting a Murderer changes everything.
If you really want to see the next chapter is this crazy story, watch Convicting a Murderer.
There is way more to this story than I ever would have believed. You can find the first episode on YouTube, by episode 5 they really start getting into evidence not seen in "Making a Murderer".
"Making a Murderer" was made with tunnel vision and only shows a small percentage of the story.
If you enjoyed watching "Making a Murderer" as much as I did, you need to see this follow up series. The full family interviews are shocking. Candace Owens did an amazing job on this.

La Brea: The Swarm (2023)
The Flame Thrower.
This series always suffered from a great story concept being poorly executed. This episode is perfect example with bad writing & no clue of physics. I'm trying to avoid any spoilers so I will just say, "Engine coolant isn't flammable". It's mostly water.
There have been so many logic errors throughout this series that it is board line unwatchable. Just as the story gets interesting, broken logic or incorrect physics will suck you out of the story and remind that this show is truly just low budget trash with bad acting from many of the senior actors.
I don't think anyone should write or direct a sci-fi series (or movie) without at least a high school level understanding of science.
Tales of the Walking Dead (2022)
Disappointing
Some episodes are out of place stories that don't work as a walking dead story. They change the genre from what the Walking Dead is. Introducing other supernatural elements like time loops & Ghosts just doesn't work with the Walking Dead. A few of these stories may have worked as Twilight Zone or Creep Show episodes but they don't work in the Walking Dead Universe. I originally had high hopes for the Tales of the Walking Dead series, now I hope it's cancelled before it does more damage to the franchise. Or at least hire better writers that has a grasp the source material. These stories are not bad, they just don't belong in the Walking Dead universe.
Tales of the Walking Dead: La Doña (2022)
Worst one yet.
This episode is an out of place ghost story, not a walking dead story. This changes the genre from what the Walking Dead is. Introducing other supernatural elements just doesn't work with the Walking Dead. This episode suffers a very similar problem as episode2 (Blair/Gina). These 2 stories may have worked as Twilight Zone or Creep Show episodes but they are disappointing to watch as "Walking Dead".

Tales of the Walking Dead: Blair/Gina (2022)
TWD does change genres for the first time.
If this was an episode of Twilight Zone or Tales from the Crypt, this would have been a great story. As an episode in TWD universe, It's very out of place & definitely jumped into other supernatural territory. Sorry if this seems too vague, I'm trying to avoid spoilers.
As a fan of TWD shows I've seen very few less than great stories but never anything that yanks me out of that universe. I watched it a second time to see if I could fit this square peg into the round hole however this episode just doesn't fit.
Side note, Bill Murry would love the nod to his work from this episode.
Black Summer (2019)
Too slow & bad editing but great story and cast.
Season 1 wasn't bad. Season 2 suffers from poor directing and editing. Good story & characters but non linear story telling ruins some points and makes some of the more dramatic scenes pointless because we already know how the scene ends. It has many scenes of people standing and staring for what I assume is an attempt at dramatic effect. It fails at this and just wastes the viewers time. The second season could be re-edited from 8 down to 4 or 5 episodes and you wouldn't miss a thing.
The Rundown with Robin Thede (2017)
Racist & ignorant.
Poor attempts to hit all political correctness black issues. Comes ignorant, racist and very 1 sided. Trying to be a black Jim Jefferies but fails.
