Who can handle the truth?
2 November 2018
The maker of this documentary (Tony Rooke) refused to pay his TV licence claiming that the BBC were complicit in terrorism after they reported the demise of WTC7 (The 9/11 attacks) before it actually happened. Absolutely true. Check it out on Youtube.

I believe that the prosecutor paid the court costs and Mr Rooke who was not actually charged with anything.

When he asked the judge for his direction, he apparently gathered his papers and left the room without saying anything?

I think he proved his point admirably.

Excellent documentary by a passionate man.

This is how the United States should be run!
30 April 2018
Warning: Spoilers
I rarely write reviews. This is an exception. The script is masterful! This, in my opinion is how the United States is administered in real time. It is truly a disaster for the people of this great country. I was moved to tears by Elizabeth Keane's speech and resignation. If only this were as it is?

Top marks to Claire Daines and Mandy Patinkin

With regard to "Carries" condition I am not an authority on mental health and I appreciate other reviewers comments. However, I can accept the "poetic licence" to get the message across.

How is it that America can produce such quality "entertainment", yet it's affairs in real world politics is an absolute disaster. It only goes to demonstrate that the people have allowed their government to be hijacked. There is no accountability.

There are no "real" people in the White House.

Wake up America!

You have been duped! Question everything.

Up there with the best!!

There is little to say other than.....Superb!

I have only watched two other mini series of this quality. Bron Broen and Borgen. Co incidentally all of which are Scandinavian? There does seem to be a real talent here for quality. These series are so good, I actually enjoy subtitles because I know I am in for a treat. I look forward to discovering more of these gems.

It cannot get better than this?
16 February 2012
I have so enjoyed "The Wire", "The Sopranos" and "The Killing" to name a few, that I absolutely had to post this, my first review. Borgen is totally absorbing.

The human characterisation is immense and is simply the best (in my opinion) series, film, broadcast I have ever seen. Thank goodness for subtitles!

It is a fascinating insight into how government works in a democratic society and how it "maybe" deals with so many issues that affect us all. If you hate politics and politicians, this series will temper your feelings. My scepticism and my cynicism towards government will not be as entrenched as it has been having seen this production.

Superb acting by all the cast. Brilliant! Brilliant! Brilliant!
