Very realistic and tense throughout. Also great acting. It had me on ther edge of my seat the whole time. I wish they would make more movies like this. The background music was very good also making every scene dynamic. It reminds me somewhat of the movie "The Towering Inferno." Don't expect a relaxing time as you watch this movie. It's a real classic movie of the 1970's and some things can be learned from all that is happening. Not a lot has changed with peolpe's characters in the more modern times. We can all learn from the mistakes of the past if one is willing to learn, Unfortunately many people will never learn, whether they be people in everyday life or high up officials. And there will always be good people willing to risk their lives to save others.

This is a fraud in my opinion. The movie uses the name Noah in the title but it has nothing to do with the character of Noah. It makes it look like Noah is evil, at the point of almost killing a baby, and many more unscriptural scenes. Noah never killed anybody or fought with a sword against anybody. If you're looking for biblical truth, better to watch "The Bible: In the Beginning." After seeing this movie "Noah" I have never watched a Russell Crowe movie again and never will. This is pure New Age propaganda with the director giving a bad reputation of God's prophets and of God Himself. God is love, not a merciless Being who only loves a select few. If any wicked died in the flood, they were just that: purely wicked and all their imaginations were evil. They were given 120 years to repent and God would have forgiven them but instead they decided to scorn and reject Noah and his family who had found grace in the eyes of God.

Good Movie for Kids and Family

This is a good family movie. Basically it's a fine movie for kids. They chose a strange-looking boy actor though since he looked too much like a man trying to be a boy. Also I miss the main actors in the very first Beethoven movie which all my family enjoyed a lot. Since then I can't give any other Beethoven movie 10 stars after they changed actors. In spite of some of the kind of corny acting, this was still an enjoyable movie. Family adventure equals family fun, so if you have kids, I'm sure they'll like this movie. Also, you don't have to worry about swear words, sex or bloody action, just a few bumps and bruises and one kiss. So bring out the popcorn and have a fun family movie time.

A Really Good Movie for Entertainment

This was a good classical monster movie, fun for just getting away from it all. It was entertaining, scary and kept my attention throughout. Good acting as well. No swear words, no sex except kissing and almost no violance-- just one big adventure. And plenty of beautiful forest scenes. This is one movie I would like to see on a big screen, at least bigger than my tablet. But it is still worth the watch on small screen. Sound quality was good and image too. This goes to show that you don't need to see a great Hoolywood movie to be entertained. A TV movie like this is just as good or better. In fact the newer movies coming out are often way too violent, too many swear words and too much gore. But this movie is different and you can watch it relaxed but with enough tension to want to watch it until the end.

I really liked this movie. It brought out many good points that we all need to learn. Plus I can just relax as I'm watching it-- no swear words or violence. What makes this movie special is its based on a true story. The dog did terrific acting.

An excellent movie about the rights of girls and women to education and not only to boys and men. It's also about gender discrimination, abuse and child marriages. This movie makes those of us in Western and other democratic countries thankful for so many opportunities for an education. Thank you to the director and actors who were superb.

This was much more than a typical Christmas holiday movie. It had some very good phrases and showed the plight of the elephants. Personal loss was also shown by the two main actors but it didn't drown them in sorrow. This movie shows how even when deeply hurt by life's circumstances, love can still be found although it may not come as we expect. Reaching out and helping others, in this case the elephants, can bring much joy, not only to yourself but to those around you. I was so glad I watched this movie and recommend it to all the Holiday season.

This movie was an eye opener for me as it showed scenes that so many of us are ignorant of--the tragedy of war. But there was a man and his family who made a difference, along with all the others who helped, showing love and compassion where there was only war and suffering. Every part of this documentary is heart touching and motivates one to do more to help others in need, and pray for those who are trying to make the world a better place.

For me, an excellent movie since I'm doing rehab myself for my knee, and before that my arm. Discouragement and laziness to exercise are a person's worst enemies when trying to recover from an injury as pointed out in this movie. It shows how important a caring therapist can be in the patient's recovery and that being a good therapist is more than simply a job. I found myself starting to exercise my arm while watching this movie, after not doing the exercises for quite a long time, so I know this movie is good. It's truly motivating.

I really liked this movie. The countryside and forest really do have a calming effect. It shows what some city folks would say about the people of a town like this is just not always true. There are nice folks everywhere. And if you treat others well, you will be treated well in return. The scenery was so relaxing to look at. A movie to simply enjoy with no worries about swear words, violence or explicit sex scenes.

Everything seemed so real. The pace was pretty fast. It goes to show, listen to the expert and in this case, your intuition. I had to watch this with English subtitles since the audio was in Norwegian but I didn't mind since the quality of the movie was so good and realistic. This seems to be a warning to anyone living in this area or one like it.

I really liked this movie. It's difficult sometimes to find a movie like this that the whole family can watch. It was very funny and I liked the actors--they really drew me in. There wasn't a dull moment in this movie and it kept my attention throughout. It was so good to simply relax, not have to worry about violence or swear words, and you can learn from the characters as well. I'm looking forward to seeing more movies like this.

It illustrates the real side of true love and how it affects our lives. If anyone has been passionately in love with another person, they can relate to this movie.

Seeing From Both Sides

Not only was the acting good, these mini-series were very tense and emotional. I definitely wanted to see it until the last episode. Both sides of "Whose fault was it" were shown non-biased in my opinion which makes it easier for whoever sees this series to come to their own conclusions. It's good that the innocent people who lost their lives unfairly are being remembered in this way. . Unfortunately in today's world children and mothers and innocents are often forgotten and not cared for, even by the institutions who say they care and want to protect them.

I really like this movie and the acting was fabulous. It's like a "mission impossible" situation and it kept me intrigued throughout. It has some good lessons too like cameraderie, getting together with your not-so-favorite nation for the good of the world, etc. I'm not a submarine movie fan, and I do like some romance in movies but this one was different and I didn't notice anything I didn't like. This movie is definitely worth watching. Thumbs up to the actors who made this movie one of my favorites.

Captivating true story

This was a very revealing and informative movie, a much needed exposure of the Catholic church and certain pedophile priests. We are used to seeing movies about sexually abused girls and are aware of their plight, however this is the first movie I've seen that addresses the issue of sexually abused boys. How many boys are being abused in this way around the world and no one speaks up for them! This movie also shows that it's never too late to do what's right, even if you didn't do it before when you first had the opportunity. It's amazing to discover the whereabouts of Cardinal Bernie Law now. As for the acting, it was superb. Even though there was a lot of dialogue, I was kept captivated by the story and its unraveling until the very end.

I thought this movie was quite entertaining, and actually funny in some parts. It's not a normal horror movie or alien invasion movie. It ends very satisfactorily, unlike most horror movies, and the plot is quite original played with talented actors in a setting that many of us are not so familiar with. If you like rap, you'll like the music throughout too. All the actors and main actress did very well. Thankfully I saw this with subtitles since I can't follow language from "the hood" very well. The only thing that didn't seem so real to me were the space creatures, but that gave for a good laugh. If you don't take this movie too seriously, it's a lot of fun. And there was "the moral of the story is..." thrown in, like lessons learned, rectifying mistakes, etc. All in all, it makes for a good Thursday or Friday night at the movies.

This is a great get-away-from thinking movie. I would say just sit back, watch it and have a good time being entertained. It keeps your adrenalin going throughout. If you're expecting a great epic movie, drama or such with great meaning, then this one isn't for you.I like it that Nicolas Cage can take on several different roles in movies and surprisingly he does pretty good at action movies too like this one. Also, there's no need about trying to figure out the meaning in this one as it's all simply pure action and thrills and some suspense. I would recommend it for teenagers, adults and anyone who's brain needs a vacation. There's no swear words practically and the ending is nice.
