Infinity Train (I) (2019–2021)

Out of this world!

I've watched so many animations and anime. This one is amazing. Something out of this world with so many twists, emotional moments and concepts which force you think about. Each season has its own mind blowing story.

No matter how old are you. Just watch it and immerse into another dimension of absolute creativity and imaginations.

Huge Disappointment

Cheezy moments, stupid fights, dumb storyline, unfunny cliché jokes, predictable ending, awful music and unnecessary annoying noises.

They ruined the original Trollhunters series which was fun with this one.

And why they gave Aja (the main alien female character) Russian accent?! Seriously why?!?!?!

Star Wars in style of Disney's princesses

EDIT: Season 2 is much better than first one.

Honestly I was shocked when I saw first and second episodes but let's be honest as each episode goes on it got more childish and story got dull and duller.

Also there was few unnecessary episode in between which did not make any senses. Like the one about Empire's spaceship prison.

And the final episode of season one was a disaster. Everything about it was unbelievable. The CGI, story, acting, ending,... Its was a mass disaster.

Still fun to watch but expect Star Wars in style of Disney's princesses.

Hey Disney! That lava river and those mice was horrible. Also I could not stand repeating of Mando's childhood memories anymore in nearly every episodes.

Godzilla: King of the Monsters (2019)

Why a 7 stars for me and maybe you

So whats not good about it I call it stupidity...

• Storyline and philosophy of the movie somehow & specially in some parts are really stupid.
• Style/Design of the main Titan (Godzilla) is very stupid specially his face is so dumb. same for some other titans.
• Cliche talks and stupid reactions of people in case of danger in some parts of the movie.
• So many plot holes e.g. Slow Titan like giant mammoth can travel from one continent to another one on a blink of eye.
• Movie title sounds stupid too. King of... Will there be a queen too!?

And many more... so what is good about it?

• Its really entertaining and action specially for younger gen.
• Special Effects are nicely done & very eye catching Titans fight.
• So many good actor and actress with acceptable performance except for Kyle Chandler but Love Millie Bobby Brown.
• Few futuristic technology ideas. like water/air drones.
• Some other aspects of cinematography are above average.

Honestly it deserve a 6 stars but I gave it extra one star since this is one my favorite genre of movies.

If this is one of your favorite genre too, by lowering your expectation you will definitely enjoy it & if not, don't waste your time on this.

Everybody Knows (2018)

Worst Farhadi's movie

This movie is the best example of how a bad script with so many plot holes will ruin a twice Oscar winner director and an Oscar winner actor and another Oscar winner actress efforts.

I gave it 6 stars just for great acting of all casts specially Javier Bardem. Trust me there is nothing more special about this movie.

Jane (II) (2017)

Not just a wildlife documentary

Jane is not just a wildlife documentary about chimpanzees. It's about life, relationship, persistence, success, failure, love, death and nearly every aspects of life in most beautiful way you can imagine.

A very impressive, effective and soulful movie which no one should miss.

Respect Ms Jane Goodall.

The Dragon Prince (2018– )

A distracting jiggery so called an-ima-t-i-on

No matter how the story is good. No matter how the art works are great. It was unwatchable for me and so many other people. (check youtube comments on trailers)

I couldn't finish the first episode because of this so called artistic style low frame rate (I call it technical issues and lack of commitment) which is really distracting because of its choppy animation.

If they release a non-artistic-style! version I will definitely watch it.

Unfortunately recent Netflix's products mostly going down the hill instead Amazon prime is getting better and better in producing quality stuffs. (Winning 5 Emmy awards)

Oh, And for the sake of god, do not compare this to Avatar, don't even think about it.

A Discovery of Witches (2018–2022)

What an amazing pilot, seems promising

EDIT on Season one finale -1 Point for poor special effects and some cheezy moments

After watching first episode, I thought myself if there is a real world of witchery, vampirism & demonic in 21st century, it should be something like A Discovery of Witches. So realistic, logical and believable.

This tv series which drags me into its story in first few minutes, with its great directing, acting, filmography and every other aspects has the potential to be the best new tv show after all.

Can't wait for next episodes.

EDIT on episode 4 It may feel slow for some people, but it's the style of this series by slowly getting under your skin and I guess the pace is getting faster and faster by each episode goes on. Anyhow, don't expect an action fantasy tv show. It's a drama approach to fantasy world. Still amazing and still 10 out 10 for me.

By the way, I don't think of anyone better as Teresa Palmer for rule of Diana Bishop. she is brilliant.

The Lure (2015)

This is different, somehow difficult but amazing

Yes this is different. Not one of those hollywood love story or horror thriller.

A musical-dark-horror-romantic-folkloric-erotic-comedy-fiction-fantasy about mermaids in Polish language shouldn't be something watchable! But surprisingly all elements of this movie are at the right place to give you the right feeling at the right moment.

A Decent storyline somehow difficult with great acting and acceptable special effects and innocently two beautiful sisters, analyze humanity, relationships, love, hate, sacrifice, music, and many other aspects from a very different perspective with the most unusual tools.

This is Art. This is cinema, Something you will learn from. A 100% must watch.

The Voices (2014)

Comedy! I didn't laugh once not even a smile. Horror, Are you kidding me?! Crime! Cmon.

A very stupid, silly with many plot holes story about a crazy guy who has no idea about what he's doing same as screenwriter & director of The Voices.

I Only gave 2 stars for Ryan Reynolds good performance the remaining sucks big time. Oh btw, some nice tunes are at the movie.

Don't let talking cat & dog in the trailer fools you to waste 2 hours of your life time.

The Endless (I) (2017)

The Endless of So What?

The Endless is a slow low budget, somehow indie and somehow boring movie which tries to be creative by struggling unsuccessfully with time and space subjects by it's few tricks in sleeves.

After spending a little less than 2 hours watching average acting, big question rises at the end of The Endless and thats ... "So What?!"

A Ghost Story (2017)

Ghostly piece of art experience

Just an artistic mind can show you feelings & existence of a wandering ghost who is just a piece of white sheet. Making such a beautiful & heartbreaking ghost story requires a lot of courage & creativity with it's simplicity & minimalistic vibe.

You should not looking for acting, dialogues & story in this movie. You should watch it as a classical poetic pieces of ambient music with some dark moments, which will touch your soul and leaves rhythms that hums in your mind for days after watching it.

A ghostly experience that should not be missed.

The Limehouse Golem (2016)

A bad edited mystery in 19th century London

When you have a good murder and mystery plot of few centuries ago in hand with some well known actor and actress what can go wrong?!

Maybe for the first time I found out how a bad editing can ruin a good plot with nice decoration and costume designs and decent acts.

on top of that although the director of film Juan Carlos Medina has done a good job is some points but he couldn't keep the mystery hidden from nearly begging and I was sure who is the murder after watching just 10 minutes of it which ruined the mystery part of it for me.

In warp up, just another movie with more potential but not anymore. mainly because of disastrous editing and some weak points in directing which still may satisfy mystery lovers movie with some old time tastes.

Outlander (2014– )

Lower your expectations then you might enjoy

If you don't take this TV series so seriously and just looking for some entertainment to pass time, maybe this would be a nice choice.

There are so many plot holes, stupid incidents, silly events, irrational stories, long repetitive dialogs, meaningless scenes, too much use of sex, sickening love show and ... but again its just entertaining adventure at some points.

Actings are not bad, beautiful scenery of nature and 18th century architecture , some historical facts and an entertaining but not decent story is what you get in your spare time of watching Outlander.
