Monk: Mr. Monk Meets His Dad (2006)
How can mr. Monk and his father have an age difference of 13 years?
An overall ok episode as it is once again Christmas and the content should be relevant. However, the choice of the actor playing Jack Monk is very unsuitable as -although an excellent actor- he was an only 13 years older than me. Shaloub who does not look younger than he actually is. In fact, he looks older therefore, the two actors would be more suitable as brothers rather than father and son.
This is a huge issue with the selection of actors all around. The actual age difference of the actors selected for various parts make the stories incredulous to say the least. This has developed into a hugely unfortunate issue in Hollywood.
The Control Room (2022)
Simply ridiculous
A 3-part drama which is boring, unintelligent, beyond any logic and exceptionally poor. Bonkers characters and even worse plot. A a waste of time no matter how much you want to persuade yourself that something more is about to happen. The side story is just a repetition from American to series of the 80s. Overall, not recommended. Pity for the actors!
Deep State: Changes Upon Changes (2019)
What a let down!
If you are a child or even if you like tales of all sorts, you might like the way this show is evolving. Trained British agents i.e. spies who leave behind them a fully lit trail for their chasers to find and capture them. U.S. senators who are considered intelligent and resourceful unveil for the sake of "I got you now" their findings to the Ines who are after. If this is not a fairy tale for kids then, what is? Great shame because the first season was indeed very interesting. 2 stars for the actors who do their job. The rest 0 stars.
Elementary: The Further Adventures (2019)
Further poor blond adventures
What a treat to have Sherlock back at 221Baker Str. Awaiting his new escapades and "further adventures"!!
What a let down the blond hair of both Lucy Liu and Tamsin Greig whereas kudos to Ophelia Lovibond for the bold yet charmingly distinguishing change. I really could never understand why gorgeous black haired female actors turn indifferently blond.
