Sweet Tooth (2021– )
8/10
Its an warm Bath of Sweetness!!
24 June 2021
Sweet Tooth feels awfully familiar at first, and then goes places that surprise and delight. It opens with a civilization-changing pandemic crippling the world. (Hey, look outside!) One strange, uncanny aspect to this woe-inducing event, which is called "The Great Crumble," is the birth of thousands of animal hybrid infants. One such infant, part-deer and part-human, is taken by his father (Will Forte) to be raised in isolation in the woods. Dad names the boy Gus (played by Christian Convery) and teaches him to survive in their remote camp, away from a world that's destroying itself.

If you want to soak in a warm bath of sweetness, which stays just shy of saccharine, then Sweet Tooth is the unlikely but welcome escape you need.

StartUp (2016–2018)

Show aims very high!!
24 June 2021
StartUp, the uneven but intriguing new series from streaming service Crackle, likes to watch people having sex. The pilot episode features nearly every lead character getting it on, and a few others besides. Subsequent episodes continue the habit, with most throwing at least one scene of carnal activity into the proceedings, even if it's just Game Of Thrones-style scenery sex. It's hot and steamy, and each encounter tells you a little something about the people involved. There's no copulating just for the hell of it.

The show starts with The show has big aims, and that ambition is admirable, even if it hasn't yet gotten a handle on the many elements of its outsized storytelling. It wants to be a close character study of desperate souls, a nail-biting thriller, a penetrating exposé of the classism and racism that permeates Miami, and a thoughtful meditation on the expectations of contemporary American values. It still moves in fits and starts, but each of the first five episodes improves on the last, and as the show focuses more on the strength of its breakneck storytelling, it's becoming not just the best reason to try Crackle, but one of the more promising new streaming series of the year.

Movie keeps you at 7000 rpm
23 November 2019
Ford V Ferrari is one of the best movies I've seen this year, and for someone who has little interest in cars besides minivans and SUVs, that's saying a lot. Just like the race cars produced by its namesakes, Ford v. Ferrari is sleek and fast; a powerful and expensive machine. A supremely well-balanced combination of corporate rivalry, on-track competitiveness and human drama.

Teenage confusions and issues
22 April 2017
Warning: Spoilers
Over all, the movie, directed by Dan Harris and featuring name actors like Kal Penn and Janeane Garofalo in small roles, has a focus problem that leaves its humorous moments obscured and its intentions hazy. Based on a 2008 off-Broadway play, this movie seems determined to cover every issue of concern for teenagers under the sun, and then some. Adult hypocrisy, teachers who are sexual predators, fuddy-duddy school boards, homophobia, internet hate and humiliation, bullying, teen pregnancy, underage drinking, freedom of speech, the difficulties in being a gay teenager new to a small town -- these are all addressed. While these characters are not saints -- they binge-drink and get sloppily drunk, talk of having unprotected sex, and have anonymous sex with adults in a nearby park -- they are also shown to be works in progress who find ways to stay true to themselves and to learn from their mistakes, despite the double-standards of the adults and the snubs from their peers.

Revenge (2011–2015)
5/10
Great 1st Season, but repetitive in the remaining
13 April 2017
Revenge, as the name suggest is full of revenge, plans, caring mother, son from other man, lies and fake love, and beautiful actress and everything that a good show should have. The 1st season was very very good, made me addictive to watch another season but as the 2nd season was going-on, it became repetitive and so was the third and fourth season, the reason being the writer changed. 2nd, 3rd and 4th season had the same plots, same lies, same mistakes by the characters, same story. They have jumped the Shark! It use to be a fabulous mystery and with an edge to it. Now it is cheesy and soapy, just down right dumb in the last three seasons. We started feeling frustrated and annoyed during the last three seasons, everything became so predictable. So, save your time and don't watch it. not worth spending your time over it.

Bokeh (I) (2017)
gorgeous indie science fiction film
24 March 2017
Warning: Spoilers
Bokeh starts with a young couple, Jenai (The Guest's Maika Monroe) and Riley (Matt O'Leary), on vacation in Iceland, where they make out under waterfalls, soak in hot springs, and drink in the scenery on walking tours. Then, just a few minutes into the film, a mysterious green light pulses in the night sky, and Jenai and Riley wake up to discover that everyone else is gone, and they're alone in Reykjavik. apocalypse stories let us revel in the idea of replacing all the burdens of modern society with simpler, more visceral problems, like avoiding zombie bites or fighting off road-warrior gangs. But most apocalypses keep the survivors pretty busy. There's some powerful emotional impact in the idea that this extreme situation pushes them both to their own extremes, stripping away their personalities until they each reach a basic level. But in practice, since they come from such a tabular rasa starting point, it's hard to track whether Riley and Jenai are really changing as people. It's not important why everyone disappeared; what's important is which emotions the characters foreground for themselves, as they embrace their new circumstances. There's a lot of fantasy in the usual end-of-the-world scenarios, but there's a lot of horror there as well. Bokeh asks which of those reactions is more appropriate, and how they both play out. It's a gentle story, as apocalypses go, but even without monsters, it becomes a painful, emotional question of strength and survival.

Logan (2017)

RIP Logan!!! U will be missed... amazing way to say bid adieu
13 March 2017
Warning: Spoilers
The best of the X-Men Series. Hugh Jackman performance is just outstanding,he is old, fragile, weak but still he is Wolverine. 1st of all this movie is not at all for kids. Movie is full of bloody action and what not with words like f*** and mother **** etcetera. Jackman gives an astonishing performance as a hurting Logan; he's no longer Wolverine, just a man who's lived a hard, hard life and is looking at an unforgiving, grim future. Logan achieves a sense of generations, of life changing, unknown, leaving some folks behind but trudging forever on.

Its a must watch movie of the year, whether you are X-men fan or not. Better than many sequential movies. Awesome.. Superb...

Me Before You (2016)

his movie treads a tricky line, both infuriating and charming viewers.
11 February 2017
Warning: Spoilers
This movie treads a tricky line, both infuriating and charming viewers. Emilia Clarke tries to fill the emotional vacuum with full-on kook as a carer for a hunky quadriplegic in Thea Sharrock's wipe- clean romance. The charm can be chalked up to star Clarke; she makes Lou the type of beguiling creature we've seen in films before who's often known as a "manic pixie dream girl" -- quirky, irreverent, and usually irresistible. Which is also where the infuriation comes in: The MPDG usually serves the function of making a male protagonist feel lightened and leavened, without experiencing much development herself. Fully enjoyable movie, sit with pop-corn and enjoy.

Man Seeking Woman (2015–2017)
8/10
Bizarre, genre bending rom-com
11 February 2017
Warning: Spoilers
Man Seeking Woman intuitively grasps the high-drama narrative stakes felt by people falling in love, and the show's genre flirtations are great at conveying the way that experience feels. The show beautifully captures how two people in a relationship construct an imaginative world together, becoming the heroes of a private mythology. In a new relationship, mundane activities can take on an epic dimension: For instance, the site of your first date might turn into a sacred space, a landmark in your mental map of the world. The show has evolved with each season, beginning as just a series of one-off dates for Josh before focusing in on a single crush throughout Season 2 (which also caused tension with his best friend, played by Eric André). In Season 3, however, Man Seeking Woman gives Josh a stable, serious relationship with Lucy (Katie Findlay), who finally seems like the girl meant for him, and vice versa. Through this, the show morphs again to focus on jokes surrounding relationships and being in a couple, and does so with the same amount of wit, insight, and bizarre twists as it did in prior seasons.

Its Batman Again!!!
11 February 2017
Warning: Spoilers
The Dark Knight poses and plays with ethical conundrums, most of which seem designed to push Batman, his allies and all of Gotham over the brink. "Madness, as you know, is like gravity," the Joker says. "All it takes is a little push."

The Joker succeeds in transforming Dent into a vicious villain with (quite literally) a two-sided face, and then sits back as his pet project flips that coin (one side now charred and scarred) to determine who dies and who lives. "The only morality in an amoral world is chance," Dent says.

Batman argues that the world's not governed by chance, but by choices. And when Dent dies, Batman makes the movie's most interesting choice of all: He takes the blame for the people Dent killed. He becomes, unjustly, a fugitive hated by the very people he's protecting.

Ledger's performance is monumental, but The Dark Knight lives up to it. Nolan cements his position as Hollywood's premier purveyor of blockbuster smarts – and the Batbike is kinda cool, too

Legion (2017–2019)

Decadently Inventive, Aesthetic Dream
11 February 2017
Warning: Spoilers
Legion - X-Men mutant styled melodrama Is a Decadently Inventive, Aesthetic Dream which is superb, and the pilot in particular is an all-timer, but the whole thing is so aesthetically fresh that I could see myself continuing to watch it even if it suddenly became dumb as hell, just to see what new storytelling trick showrunner Noah Hawley and his collaborators have up their puffy magicians' sleeves. There are long single-take action sequences where six or seven things are happening at once and you have to decide what to look at, soundless outbursts of telepathic mayhem scored to operatic pop and rock, and (yes, really) a dance number. The kitchen scene is just amazing and everything is just so amazingly drafted, that you are just glued to your seat at the end of the pilot and waiting for another episode. Legion will be another amazingly packed series.

Passengers (I) (2016)
7/10
must watch for sci-fi movie
11 February 2017
Warning: Spoilers
But Passengers suffocates under the pressure of its own premise. Once everything is set up in the first 25-or-so minutes, the story, just like its protagonists, gets stuck in space with nowhere to go. It digresses, forcing two human characters into becoming heroes, nay, proficient astronauts!

Its dialogue fails it miserably; the lovable characters could have been given smarter lines, but instead, we're stuck with obvious observations like, "Oh no, I woke up too soon!" Yeah, we know.

Passengers is Hollywood's answer to the star-studded Bollywood blockbusters of the 70s, where anything and everything could happen because it was happening to big stars on screen. Here too, it's mostly only Pratt and Lawrence who manage to keep you in your seat.

It's a great-looking film with an original idea. Watch it for its stars but it won't have an astronomical impact on you.

Batman Begins (2005)
9/10
ooh its BATMAN
11 February 2017
Warning: Spoilers
Batman Begins answers a long-standing question about Bruce the tycoon playboy — a Paris Hilton with balls as previously played by Michael Keaton, Val Kilmer and George Clooney — by showing us what he was doing before he put on his Bat drag, accessorized with lethal toys and learned to kill like a vigilante. If you expect Batman to flap his cape the second you sit down with your popcorn, snap out of it. Nolan wants us to know the real Bruce. At age eight, Master Wayne (Gus Lewis) falls into a well filled with bats and freaks out. The bats represent his deepest fear. Bruce later dumps Princeton and his virginal Rachel (Katie Holmes — OK, Tom Cruise, t raving) and heads for the Himalayas to toughen up. He's tossed into prison and is rescued by Ducard (Liam Neeson, with a funny accent), who ninja-trains him. Ducard is a member of the League of Shadows, led by evil genius Ra's Al Ghul (Ken Watanabe). Seven years pass, and Bruce is still Bruce. Back in Gotham, he learns from the family butler, Alfred (Michael Caine purrs with warmth and humor), that he's been declared dead and that the CEO (Rutger Hauer) has taken over Wayne Enterprises. To get it back, Bruce teams up with Lucius Fox (a wily Morgan Freeman), a company scientist who specializes in military body armor (think Batsuit) and designs a car that looks like a tank (think Batmobile). That's when Bruce asks Lucius if the car comes in black. Fans can now feel free to go batty.

lets go Batty..

Game of Thrones (2011–2019)

Outstanding..... Top of its class....
14 January 2017
Warning: Spoilers
I don't understand, why negative reviews. Its a fantasy show and so watch it, enjoy it and judge it on what it is trying to show. Story of power and just power and just power. The actors outstanding, story line outstanding, locations outstanding, villains outstanding, fight sequences outstanding, simply out and out brilliant. his is an artful series; the script is intelligently written, the show is well-acted, and the direction and cinematography are easily on par with any Oscar-nominated film. It's easy to get drawn into the machinations of Westeros; the show is compulsive viewing. There are moments of brutal violence and sexuality that might pull viewers who aren't ready for them out of the narrative. Certainly Westeros is a dark world inhabited by some very disturbing characters, but the violence is at times lingered upon in a very unsettling way. Although these moments may be mitigated by later plot developments, that doesn't change their impact as they happen. For viewers who can tolerate these incidents, the merits of the series may win out, but it won't be for everyone.

Watch and you will certainly love it. Full marks to the show.

The Crown (2016–2023)
Exquisite bio-series is complex and compelling
14 January 2017
One of the most expensive shows been created by Netflix, and it pays off in pretty good manner. What to say about the actors. Claire Foy is amazing and i am in love with her. All of the actors have acted beautifully. The show is outstanding in every way: faultless. From brilliant dramatisation to acting to score to cinematography: everywhere you look it commands. It is also compelling, well written, and well performed. In fact, almost every element is perfectly executed, which means that no single one stands out above the rest, but rather they work in harmony. And that is the show's greatest success; the fact that it all comes together smoothly into a neat, binge-able, high quality package.Besides all that, The Crown , have made me look with another eyes to the royal family, specially Queen Elizabeth, to be honest i did not know much about her personal life. Still the show is a fight of power money and above all to maintain the dignity of the royal family. Its just a must watch show available presently.

The Night Of (2016)

Wowwww.. Superb...
14 January 2017
What an act!!! What a direction!!! Its somber, its dark and the show reflect how an complex murder case is investigated and tried. The calm and deliberative presentation of the narration without background music, holds the viewers and calls them to pay very close attention. The ongoing sense of melancholy and despondence that permeates the story's world creates an experience that can be both disturbing and mentally exhausting. However, this is exactly what it's going for, as it's designed to reproduce the slow, and often grim, process of navigating the criminal justice system. But the weightiness of it all doesn't overwhelm the well-written, well-rounded detective story that it offers and that will no doubt satisfy fans of the genre. The acting of Riz Ahmed and his eyes ..wow, speaks a lot. Its a must watch show. All of the actors acts so naturally and so much into their character.

Hugh Larie and what else you want...
14 January 2017
Hugh Laurie is back with a bang.. The exotic locations with mystery and suspense, all up to the mark. Performance by Hugh Laurie and Tom Hiddleston is superb and both of them bring life to their characters. The show is entertaining but looking at the current shows available in the market it lacks an amazing story, which we hope will be great in season 2. Still the show is pretty much watchable. Although the storyline is well written, As for the acting cast; Hugh Laurie & Tom Hiddleston do what they do best. The producer has spent a fortune to make this TV show, even more than a movie. The finale was bit dull but still worth watching.

Superb and amazing movie
14 January 2017
Emily Blunt totally deserves an applaud for her acting. She has delivered an masterpiece. This thriller is atmospheric and suspenseful, like the best-selling Paula Hawkins novel it's based on. Emily carries the weight of Rachel's alcohol dependency, an awful cocktail mixed with grief and self-hatred. Its heroes and villains are painted with a one-dimensional brush, either evil and angry, icy, or simply a big hot mess.

It almost feels like a lot of The Girl on the Train's potential was left on the cutting room floor, taken out for brevity or simplicity. But characters like these deserve complex treatment. And audiences need more than just the twist in the end if you want to leave them puzzling over a movie after the credits roll. What we get instead is an interesting enough, creepy enough experience.

An amazing directed and superbly acted movie.

Action packed movie with twist of brother love
14 January 2017
Warning: Spoilers
The movie's main storyline of an accountant/hit man is somewhat ordinary and predictable, but its fabric is made up of enough good scenes and characters to make it worthwhile. Working from a screenplay by Bill Dubuque (The Judge), director Gavin O'Connor builds worlds for all of his characters to inhabit. It's not a coincidence that the cast includes terrific performers and great character actors; they all bite into these roles with juicy histories.

Wolff played by the new Batman "Ben Affleck" in particular comes with all kinds of styles and stunts. After his many ups and downs in the movie business, the star finally looks like he's lived a life. But The Accountant doesn't short any of the other characters, either; though their are several instance which confirm yes that the actor has still got in him.. It's too bad the overall plot couldn't have come up with something a tad fresher, but at least it gets the job done. The end told you that.. Guys be ready for Part II.

Superb
19 October 2016
2012 has been an amazing year for the great movies weather it was Avengers, Wolf of the Wall Street, the Amazing Spiderman and this great sequel of The Dark Knight. Christian Bale is just magnificent, as he puts it he plays three characters, the billionaire playboy Bruce Wayne, the true persona of Bruce Wayne still grieving the lost of his parents and the Batman. He's the defining actor of The Dark Knight, his portrayal of all these characters are just perfect and even though he's a man dressing up at night as a bat beating criminals to a pulp with his bare hands, we empathize with him. The chief antagonist is Tom Hardy's full time terrorist Bane, He's frightening to watch, Tom embodies and embraces the sheer brutality and monstrosity of "the mercenary" flawlessly with half his face covered up, the way he conveys his emotions with only his eyes is amazing. Anne Hathaway as always is amazingly beautiful and superb acting. Loved to watch her in every aspect.

Superb amazing must watch
18 October 2016
An adaptation of Jordan Belfort's memoir chronicling his rise and fall on Wall Street and his hard-partying, addiction-fueled personal life. Every time you watch Leo movie, more and more your love for his movie increases. Amazing acting, beautifully scripted and anchored with superb dialogues. Some people will inevitably be so put off by the harsh composition of the message that they fail to heed the importance of that message; but in presenting so much of the bad and the ugly behind Wall Street so unflinchingly, Scorsese has crafted an insightful and important deconstruction of post-millennial America's moral erosion. This is one of the best films of 2013, the acting, the directing was superb with out no words. Martin Scorsese is the best director out they just all of he's movies are one of the best and his other movies never let me down well my by gang's of new York. This movie is three hours and it feels like 1 hour because the movie goes by so fast. Every movie of Leo that we watch, we hope that he gets an Oscar for it but trust me he really deserves for this role.

Excellent movie with power packed performance
18 October 2016
Excellent movie. The characters of the movie are as always very entertaining. Quentin always brings the best out of his actors, and maybe that's because he just writes such great characters for them. The theme for the film is vengeance, which is the usual for Tarantino. He follows the Tarantino style as you can expect, but he doesn't fail to throw in a few surprises. The dialogue is fantastic, the pacing is terrific, the action is spectacular, and overall it's a very entertaining movie. Set in the Deep South and Old West, a freed slave (Jamie Foxx) embarks on a trail across America with a German bounty hunter (Christoph Waltz) to rescue his wife from a charismatic and cruel plantation owner (Leo DiCaprio.) The sequences are sensational from the very beginning but the key component in making this film so great is the two intriguing characters at the heart of it, Foxx and Waltz.

Beautiful!!! Sweet!!!
27 September 2016
One of the best on screen love story. Keanu and Charlize were both good in their parts. The story line-up was nice. The pace of the movie was also nice. The location set-up was all in place and it deserve a good rating. Charlize looks damn pretty as always. This movie will make you cry and you will fall for the movie without doubt. It is a must see for Charlize fans. Music soundtrack was good. Had few cheesy lines but overall the script was good. Oh, and since I used to be someone exactly like the Reeves character is the start of the movie, I can relate to what it is to discover that there is more to life. His character is real alright, but in the surreal sort of way that only those who have actually been there and escaped, truly understand. Now, if only I had had someone as charming as Ms. Theron to show me.
