A Great movie
15 April 2024
Warning: Spoilers
This movie struck me to the core of my soul. It is a story of a man raised by a narcissist mother. The surealistic element of it must be explained after watching it. His mother has no limits and boundaries of his personality (they sleep together). He is taught that all other world is hostile so he must be afraid of everyone else and trust only her. She has everyone that he encounters later in life associates of her. She is spying in his life leaving no oxygen for him to breathe. Even the psychatrist is an employye of his mother. His father is a monster as his mother has made him believe. All his dreams of having a normal family is the theatrical play and all his life he struggles to achieve it failing repeatedly. He meets at the end his lifelong love and they have sex with much guilt and pain. She dies becoming a doll when his mother arrives and he is left alone. He is then in a court by his own consciousness and as he is taught and raised he is found guilty and dies in the end. His mother eiether dead or alive is always there judging him. He can never escape all his life a prisoner of her.

A victim of Narcissism
26 July 2023
This movie is not about some old issues of seventies society. Though it is very painful to watch, it struck me from the first minute and I think lot of people will find many similarities with their own lives. The movie is about a daughter of Narcissist parents. Their opinion is all that matters and they keep interfering with the life of their daughter who is simply trying to escape from the net around her. She does not have the strength as her sister did in the past, to leave the house prison of her family and maybe she does not understand how harm they have done. As narciccists the parents have send contradicted messages to their daughter from the day she was born. So the victim can not realize she is not loved by them. They dont show any empathy at all. Love and the relationship with a young artist was her only glimpse of hope in her life but it never had a really chance actually. The Mother seems like she has done all right and the best for her daughter, keeps talking without listening at all and persuades all others to not see what is really happening, even the psychiatrists. Society thinks that mother and father because of their role and status can not harm their children. That is the real core of the problem. Public opinion gives some sort of immunity to parents though some questions from the first doctor who realized what was happening could solve the problem. But then he gets fired. The psychiatric isssue here is that the parents are narcissists and that is what really caused the problem and where the medical intervention should start.

the spirit of Greek Mythology
29 October 2020
The series is inspired from Greek Mythology and uses many of the myths that became Classic. The ideals of mythological age and the spirit that lived up today, the people that created this amazing civilization long before the Golden Age are presented. I hope more series like this come on screen. I wish to see a historical series not anime for all those magnificent people (historical figures, philosophers, scientists) that defined the way of our life, the democratic values, the freedom of thought and just about everything in shaping mankind forever.

many issues with this series
22 July 2020
First I have to mention the script and what it says which is really annoying. All Pagans are innocent and killed, set on fire by Christians-all are inquisitors- who and very bad people. What the hell is that script? After Bergman's Virgin Spring that Christian faith represented the good and Pagans represented the evil we came to this? I have to mention the politically correct black Arthur and the LGBT correct lesbian nuns??? If you have seen Excalibur by John Burman then this is total waste of time.
